My DH is gluten free so Chinese food is a special treat. I used to love this place, so was looking forward to my usual Orange Peel Chicken as a special lunch. The egg roll was superb so I was stoked to start the egg drop soup. However, it was truly nasty, tasting so metallic I could not eat it. The crispies were cold and stale. Oh well, the chicken will be great. Well, it wasnt awesome but at least edible. The soda was flat too. Honestly, the worst part was that I mentioned the bad soup to both the waitress and the cashier and both said "Hum". If you mention (quietly and politely) to the staff that you could not eat part of the meal because it tasted bad, and no one cares, eat somewhere else. Which I will from now on. Its really too bad since this used to be my favorite spot, and when William was there as manager, he seemed to care about quality.

Service, wonton soup & and egg rolls good! Entrées for 3 of us were awful! No Chinese vegetables... only onions, carrots and celery... Over cooked, soggy and no seasoning... Get a chef who knows how to cook Chinese food! Brought home leftovers since lost our appetites and threw it all away. Could have had JPETERS prime rib enjoyable dinner for what it cost! Will say theyre consistent... have gone several times to see if any improvement and that leads me to write this review, a first time ever on a restaurant, to say we wont go back ever again! Worst excuse for Chinese food have ever had!

First impressions are everything! To start off maybe I hit them on a bad day where they may have had a new cook in the back, but still inexcusable because if you want success your product must be good each and every time. Not in this case I ordered the crab rangoon, egg rolls, chicken and broccoli with Lo Mein noodles, all very nice portions but lack flavor very bland. I have yet to find a Chinese restaurant in Anderson that is decent. Only reason I am giving them a 2 star is the lady that took my order was extremely friendly and the service was fast.

Depends on whos working. Some rush while others rake their time snd do it right. I was the only table seated in the entire restaurant, they forgot my drink and my food came out soggy. But the time before that my meal was tender and deliscous, and the service was on point, and I was not unnecessarily nterrupted as much as the second visit.

The customer service was great I ordered shrimp fried rice which was full of shrimp very few vegetables. However I also order sesame chicken it did not taste good and it was just a little bit of chicken and it came with fried rice that had no vegetable at all and it hadnt no good taste.

I and my family have eaten here regularly for 12 years. This is one of my favorite places to eat and they certainly have the best chinese food. Ive looked all over and have yet to find better dumplings or rangoons (my favorite). Owned and operated by a lovely family.

We are from Germany. We came to Anderson for business. We had a wonderful dinner at Grand China Restaurant and the owner speaks perfect German. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is very cozy. "Wilhelm, Wir wunschen I Ihnen alles gute. Auf Wiedersehen"

The only Chinese restaurant that is worth going to! Its the only one I will go to, the other Chinese restaurants around have gotten me sick. This restaurant has great food and a very friendly staff. Thanks for keeping the quality high all around!

If you are looking for the best Chinese food around this is the place! The service is wonderful the staff is friendly and the place is clean. Me and my wife eat here at least once a week. There food is amazing! Best curry chicken i can find.

I like good food at reasonable prices. This is great food. The mauve furniture is a little less desirous towards optimal dining pleasure but the food more than makes up for late 70s / early 80s furnishings. Its the best 5/7.

It truly is the best in the upstate for a lovely dining experience! The atmosphere is quiet and cozy and the staff makes you feel at home! The egg rolls are the best Ive ever tasted and the quality of the food is outstanding!

Paid $10 for Sesame chicken with maybe 2 of the smallest pieces of broccoli. Definitely not a bargain. Rice and chicken....no egg roll. Find another place or hit a buffet. There is nothing gourmet about this place.
