I have been buying from this place for over 10 year. It is used to be the best Chinese place in town. Used to be... Not anymore. Ever since they changed ownership - everything changed. The food is no longer the same! We used to pay $8- $10 per meal and it was worth every penny. Ever since my husband sold his business on Poplar Level Rd. we quit going there for some time and yesterday we were driving by and decided to order something to go..Oh, boy, I wish we did not! Ordered two meals (Singapore Choy Mei Fun and Pork spare rigs). When we came home and opened our meals we realized that we make a mistake. Choy Mei Fun was impossible to eat at all! But the second meal was a complete joke. Spare ribs were completely burned and the rise was completely missing! When we called in and asked a question about the rise we were told that it does not come withe THE MEAL (as if I did not spend hundreds of dollars on this MEAL over the last 10 years before!)! When I asked why they still charged me a MEAL price they laughed at me and said that it was because they gave me a bigger portion of ribs. No thanks! THIS WAS MY LAST VISIT TO THIS PLACE!!!

in New Jersey and ate there from flying and traveling all day and the food was mediocre ...i had asked for a simple thing All Chinese restaurants have ...spare ribs..they didnt have it...out she said. How about boneless...i said ok...ugh!!! Fried rice looked like it had frozen veggies in it....wont go back! Egg fu young sauce was way salty! I would say food was on par for a fast food chinese place like on a mall....

Since moving to Louisville I have tried several Chinese places and had not been fully satisfied until I tried this place. Their general Tsos chicken blows everyone elses out of the water! Their egg rolls are great and the Bourbon chicken is amazing, too. Totally worth my 30 minute drive to get there.

I have been going here since I was a kid and their crab rangoon is the best in Louisville. Always prompt to take your order although it may take a little while to cook because they make it fresh instead of under a heat lamp. I like pretty much everything here with the exception being their dumplings.

This is a place you grab and go. Tiny Spartan dining area. Consistently great authentic food made by the family that owns it. This is not part of a chain. So the food is consistent and great. Really good prices. And the pork dumplings have no veggie filler, and large shrimp in all shrimp dishes.

I have eaten at many American Chinese restaurants in my time. This is by far one of the best. Certainly the best that I have had in Louisville. The food was top notch and the people there are great. If you are in the area for lunch, go there!

Nice, clean place and good customer service too! We dined in and had some leftovers, he saw us packing up and immediately brought us bags so we could take our food and nice gesture to give us free cookies for our toddler! Definitely coming back

A solid Chinese takeout restaurant. Food is good, prices are right, staff are friendly. You wont find anything super special that makes Double Dragon stand out, but from my experience they do everything important right.

Standard American Chinese food – perfectly priced. They let me order ma po tofu which is off-menu, so Im definitely a fan. Nothing that will blow your socks off, but definitely a good weeknight dinner option.

This is the best Chinese food restaurant around. It is cheap and you get a fair amount of food. There General Taos Chicken and Crab Rangoon are the best. Everyone out there should have a try of there food.
