i ordered from there and had my food scheduled to come at a specific time; they came super earliier than what we deiscussed and then tried to rush me to get to them; mind you im at work. i tell him i am on the way and when i get to the delivery guy he throws my food at me and walks off; he didnt give me a recipt to sign or anything; i called the resturaunt to speak to someone about how he acted and she asked me what i wanted them to do about it. i never had an expirience like this before with them. im very disappointed

First, and foremost; any negative reviews have been in conflicts of interest. Two individuals, who have been using a different restaurant just down the street, have left unfair reviews that are lies. The China King Star Chinese Restaurant is a Family owned business, and preferred over all by myself, and other drivers at Mercer Transportation in Louisville. Theyre an excellent choice for Chinese food, and Delivery of the food is also top of the line.

Food is great and the delivery is within a reasonable time (higher during peak hours, etc). This would get a 5, but the lady that takes the food orders is INCREDIBLY RUDE (this is from several years of ordering, not just one or two experiences). Shes very hard to understand, does not listen to you well, and interrupts you constantly. If you can get past that, this is the best Chinese place downtown to order from food-wise.

Dont waste your time and money here. The delivering driver gave my order to another person after I had already paid for it and when I called to figure out why and to have them resend my order, the manager became very rude and told me that he would not make another order to insure I got my food. This place is a disgrace to the food service industry.

I have been ordering from here for over a year. To my surprise today I ordered my regular order and got a phone call telling me I had to pay for extra sauce omg. So when I questioned why all of a sudden I have to pay now. I got the response dont ever order from us again. I use to love them but thats very rude and very bad business. Shame on you

Food deserves a 5 star!!! Best Chinese downtown and you cant beat the price! Small dining area mixed with no luck parking or finding a place to park is the only reason for the 4 star rating..... They offer delivery but in the heart of downtown lunch traffic youll be left waiting a while.

Excellent service and clean inside! The food is wonderful and fairly priced to the portion you receive. If youre looking for good food and a price to match a limited budget, this is the best Chinese restaurant downtown. Its within walking distance of the Hyatt!

My absolute favorite place for lunch. Less than eight dollars for buffet and a drink. Takes less than ten minutes to get in and out. Buffet food is very good for the price. Try to come in closer to noon for fresher food, other than that no complaints.
