OVERPRICED AND CHEATED!! I went out for dinner here by myself on a Friday night. I ordered a meal and a beer. Place was empty, just me and one more table. A guy was waiting me and he seemed ok. The food comes, decent quality and taste. No complaints till then. A bunch of young girls came in and sat in the other extreme end of the diner. My waiter goes over and forgets that I was seated there. I finished my meal and waited for 10 minutes to get a TO-GO box, the waiter was still happily chatting away there with the ladies. I then walk over to the counter and ask another person for the box, wrap up my food. I wait for a few minutes for the check, still the waiter doesnt move from that table. I then go up to the counter and give them my card. They call the waiter who then comes up and gives me my check. It was $19 for a meal and beer, definitely overpriced for the food/service/place. Having waited tables myself for a while, I am pretty generous when it comes to tipping. However due to the really annoying behavior of the waiter, I ended up tipping only around 10%, making the total to $21. The waiter was looking at me and the receipt when I was writing the amount and signing, he then gives me a stern look. I knew he was going to do something with it and sure enough I check my credit card statement after a few days, HE HAD ADDED ANOTHER $4 TO THE TIP AND TAKEN THE TOTAL TO $25! I have been trying to call the business and talk to the manager for the past one week now. The manager is either unavailable or if he gets on the phone is busy. The person at the counter would take a message but the manger never calls back. I thought I will make one final attempt today and got hold of the manager. He was free indeed. So Im on the phone with him for 10-15 minutes at 7 in the morning explaining the whole thing and when I am done he says hes the morning manager and I will have to call in the night to talk with the evening manager since I was there for dinner. I am done, not wasting any more time with these lame people. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and am never going to set foot in there again.

We have known this restaurant for decades and is one of the few breakfast delivery places around the area, so we want to be able to give them more stars, but we just cant. We are consistently ripped off by this restaurant, and the management endorses the scam: smaller and smaller portions, shorter and shorter drinks. It is prolific. Whether you sit in, take out or get delivery, there is ALWAYS a problem! For example, here are some of the experiences we have had had: shorted on change ($1 or more almost every time); charged for items we did not order, and when we got home delivery, items we ordered are missing but we were still charged for them. This has happened time after time after time. When we try to speak with management to rectify, they are rude and accusatory, blaming the customer as if we stealing from them!!! The management are scam artists to the Nth degree! They have all the fronts covered: the back end in the kitchen, the middle with select waitresses, and the front end with the cashiers. I hope the owners are well aware of what is going on. You would think being in the neighborhood for so long, they would make sure to take care of the locals and their loyal customers but they dont. We keep them afloat, and yet they continue to blatantly steal from your pockets. You gotta wonder .... if they are doing this to their customers, how are they treating their employees? Makes you think .... We now refer to the diner as the Clip Joint.

Will never go there again! Took our sister out to breakfast there this morning to celebrate her birthday. We were asked to leave by the man owner/manager we were told we were there too long and the waitress was not making any money due to us sitting there. We were served about 10:40 and left after an hour and maybe 20 minutes. In front of all the customers sitting near us!!! NEVER IN OUR ENTIRE LIFE HAS THIS EVER HAPPENDED ANYWHERE! WE ALWAYS TAKE CARE OF THE WAITRESS FOR SITTING THERE ANY TIME PERIOD, TOO MAKE UP FOR HER NOT TURNING THE TABLE OVER. DO THEY EXPECT US TO COME IN AND LEAVE WITHIN A HALF HOUR!!!!!!!!!!! The bathroom had no toilet paper in it. The food was okay, the service was okay, no smile but did not effect her tip. When we were younger we worked as a waitress we would NEVER NOT TIP WELL OR TIE UP A RESTAURANT WITH A LONG WAIT LINE. He acted like a low class, ignorant person, telling the customers they have to leave?! I have gone to nicer diners, not hard to do. Many fine restaurants over my lifetime and never had an owner treat customers this way. Unacceptable and really not a nice diner to begin with. Only went there to show our sister where the film was made and the 5 minute movie part filmed there. I would not reccomend this place to anyone. There are many fine diners in the area, Country Squire, Court Diner. Unforgiveable what he did to us. No professionalism or polish at all. Do not give him your money. Go elsewhere.

Been going here since I was a kid. Probably been here 100 times. It is an okay diner, the food is hit or miss and is either good or terrible, never really great anymore. They are really riding the fact some of "Silver Linings Playbook" was filmed here and that gets sort of annoying these days, they also are pretty pricey for a diner, partially I think because of their new found "fame". In my opinion it is not really worth going to anymore when there are so many better diners nearby that offer food of equal or better quality and equal or lower prices. I am pretty sad to say this, like I said, I have been going here since I was a kid with my parents and I have fond memories here, but it is just not like it used to be. My visit today left a particularly bad taste in my mouth. My food was decent but my friends eggs Benedict was way overcooked. We were rushed out because they wanted to make room for other customers and I get that. What pissed me off was some Greek guy who appears to be the owner or manager was attempting to physically move my motorcycle out of my parking space and next to a dumpster so a car could take the spot, despite there being a half dozen spots open in the lot. Besides the fact he was very rude and demanded I leave because "park too long" and "bike is wasting space for customers" when I was a customer, it is just very not good form to go around pushing peoples motorcycles.

I ordered a Greek salad and expressed that I have ANAPHYLAXIS and I am highly allergic to all fish. Deathly allergic. When I reached near the end of my salad, I found a hefty amount of ANCHOVIES in my salad. At the VERY bottom of the plate. First things first, if anchovies are an ingredient in your Greek salad, you should mention that on the menu. In BIG BOLD LETTERS. Because I have had too many Greek salads to count and NONE of them had anchovies in them. Secondly, Cross-contamination is just as bad as eating the food itself. I had an allergic reaction. Thank goodness for my emergency medicine. If I didnt have it, who knows. Also, thank goodness I randomly mixed up my salad. Otherwise, I would have eaten everything else touching the fish and maybe even the fish itself. Lastly, with how common food allergies are today, its unfortunate and unacceptable this happened to me. Very unfortunate. The salad was good up until the cross-contamination almost closed my throat completely. Thanks for that
