The manager is awful to talk to on the phone. Whenever one of the ladies answers, they always know where Im calling from, but the manager always asks "where are you calling from?" Why do they (the girls) know it and not him? They are repeatedly late. I asked for something to be delivered at 11:50 and it arrived at 12:05. I am in a position where I need items to be on time and this lateness reflects poorly on me. Typically, Rivieras staples a receipt onto their bag. The first time they forgot, I asked for them to fax it over and they did. The next time they forgot, I called and got the manager. He asked what number I called from, and since we have many extensions, I told him what number. He said, "I dont have that number, so I cant look up your order." I asked him if there is another way to look it up? He said, "no." Thats it. He didnt try to help me figure it out or anything. He told me he would fax the receipt, though. I told him my address and my total and I figured he would be able to figure it out from there. Never got the receipt. So either he A: lied about intending to send me the receipt, or B: never bothered to look it up. UNPROFESSIONAL. Today I asked for an ETA on the delivery guy (I placed an order at 11:30am for 3 sandwiches, it is 12:17, still no sign of them), and the manager told me that hes on his way. I asked for an ETA. He said, "I dont have an ETA." when I questioned him, he said, "He could be there in 2 seconds, he could be there now, I dont know." I said, "Okay," and then he hung up. Just hung up. We order from Rivieras ALL THE TIME because the food is really good and they deliver. Its not as if I am a one-time buyer -- Id say I order $20+ lunches at least once a week. However, I will not buy from them again. Ive complained too much and the manager is so unprofessional. I believe his name is Dave Gomez but I could be wrong.

They have very good pizza...thats about it. They give you way too much food to mask the fact that the pasta is overcooked, the "fresh" veal is shoe leather, and the appetizers are overcooked routinely as well as of very poor quality. We have eaten a variety of their food over the last 3 years so this review is not based on a single experience. When getting delivery they usually run about 45 minutes whether only pizza or anything at all. Probably the most annoying issue with them is ordering and getting what you ordered correctly...asking for a well-done pizza is a crap shoot, asking that the extra sauce on the wings is drained off is impossible and asking for a specific delivery time is useless. If you decide to eat their food, you must be specific about your expectations unless you are OK with rolling the dice. We have resigned ourselves to get pizza, occasionally a stromboli, and rarely wings...and always give specific instructions which we realize may or not be followed.

It is such a shame, our family used to love ordering from here. Over the last three months the food and service has gotten worse and worse. Subs made terribly with mayo globbed on top of lettuce, destroyed subs that are saturated with oil and vinegar to the point the bread falls apart. But, finally the last straw- two weeks in a row the wrong pizza was delivered to us. The second time we called to complain. They would not replace the pizza unless we returned the wrong one. We had waited almost an hour for the pizza, our kids were starving and we could not give them one piece. Terrible customer service! I should not be stuck waiting another 30 minutes for a new pizza for their mistake with my only other option being to pick off all the toppings on the wrong pizza. We used to order from them every week, spending at least $80 a month. They have lost our business!

Eating here is like rolling the dice. Sometimes the food is fairly good (4 stars), others it is borderline terrible (microwaved chicken parm or old/frozen rolls on subs). Service is normally poor/bad (why we alway order take out now) and has seemed to be declining for the last 2 years. It is a shame because this used to be a fairly good restaurant, but management cannot seem to keep it consistent. They have little to no Italian restaurant competition in the area so they stay consistently busy. Ive eaten/ordered here about 20 times because its 2 min away. I dont how this place could get 5 stars. Try Johnies Steak House/Dark Horse Tavern if you are looking for 5 star places in the area.

If I could leave a zero start review I would! Its a shame because my family loves the food from this restaurant but I was just treated with the WORST customer service! When dinner for my 2 children arrived the order was wrong despite the receipt correctly documenting our order. When I called to let the staff know the error I was told I would get the correctly ordered pizza if I returned the erred one. I could not keep the erred pizza or even feed my son I slice or I would be charged for it. (It has to be thrown out by law when it leaves the drivers hands...) The owner/manger couldnt even bother to talk to me!!!! I spend $100s of dollars there a year but wont spend another dime!

We went there last night at 9:10. After being seated and waiting for the waitress to take care of her other table and finally ordering we were told we could not order dinner because it was too late. It was 9:32. They close at ten on Sunday and we already had our drinks. The waitress said the manager said no. When we asked to see him he never came out. I think she was dishonest with us. Who would give up a party of 5 and a 20-30$ tip? That was the most rude thing Ive ever encountered at a restaurant.

The food is not only fantastic, they give you a lot of it! Its common for two people to share one meal because thats how much food they give you. Very tasty, and a very good marinara sauce. Ive been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and courteous. The prices are good - extremely reasonable for all the food they give you. One of my favorite places to eat. I highly recommend this restaurant. A nice place to bring a family or a date.

Were not from this area, but while passing through, we stopped here for dinner. The breads and salads were quite tasty, and the entrees were hearty and generous. Amanda, our waitress, in the words of The Flight of the Conchords, "could be a part-time model". The restaurant at least has the sense to do some market research with their bill receipts, where youre invited to rate the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Most restaurants dont even ask for such feedback.

My boyfriend and I love this place, but we came for Valentines Day and the service was painfully slow. It took about an hour to get our entrees and another to get the check. We walked up to the bar to try and speed up the process. Our waitress looked at us, turned her back to us and began stuffing receipts into the booklets and walked away. We had to go to the take out counter to have them ring us out. And even he was rude. Not going back anytime soon.
