My husband and I "had" always enjoyed going here for our Italian food. However, after our last experience, I will never set foot in their establishment again. Here we go. We went there to get food to go. We bought around $55.00 worth of food. I asked the gentlemen serving me if I could get salad from the salad bar to go - he said yes he would give me a box. I was assuming I was only getting a "side" salad to go, My husband ordered a ceasar salad for himself. Needless to say I was charged for the lunch buffet (mistake - okay, no big deal). Once home, we discovered his salad was not in the bag. Upon discovering that, we looked at our receipt and discovered we had paid for the lunch buffet and his salad. I called the restaurant to let them know that his salad wasnt in the bag and also that I hadnt realized I was paying for the whole lunch buffet ( my god we had just ordered $55.00 worth of food to go - duhhh!) The person I spoke with was completely uninterested, unhelpful and very cavalier. By the end of the conversation after his extremely unprofessional, unhelpful, glip ATTITUDE. I said one choice word to him and hung the phone up. A few minutes later we received a phone call from their establishment and then a hang up. A second later we got a phone call from a cell phone from "Nico" we found out his name later, get this, saying he was gonna MURDER me. My husband and I took our food back, got our money back and will never, ever, ever step foot in there again. On top of that, when we went back to the restaurant the owner was just as uninterested as his employee. We left there and went to Tinos in Columbia, lovely food and service. I have never, ever been talked to like that by a restaurant employee. He should have been fired. But I guarantee you he is still behind the counter. Watch your back if you decide to patronize this establishment!

They tried to ring up a $18.99 pizza that is CLEARLY posted on the sign as $18.99 as $22.46 plus tax. $23.81 was what they tried to charge me instead of $20.13. I raised the issue and the guy tried to lie to me about the prices until I showed him their sign, then he apologized and re-rung it and said its $20.13 but only gave me $3 back instead of $3.67. I went back up and told him he still owed me $.67 and he was like "$.67?" Like, are you serious? I said ya $.67 I work hard for my money not to have you guys rip me off like that. He was like well Ill give it back to you this time but thats it. I will never eat there again and I would urge you to do the same based on principle. I hope youre happy Cantina Mamma Lucia because you just had a first and last time guest because of your dishonesty and rudeness towards me, and this review is now on the internet for millions of people to see. Good job, bravo, clap clap clap, I hope you just lost $3.67 BILLION in sales instead of $3.67.

NO atmosphere, insanely overpriced bland industrial (institutional) quality food and wholly indifferent management. Management (the gentleman on the left with the receding hairline in the featured photos) could not have cared less that I was in his establishment as a paying customer. WRT the food, I have been in the U.S. Army for 24 years and we serve better food in our chow halls. If you dont have a chow hall handy - go next door to Little Spice. The food is much MUCH better and more reasonably priced. But, if you must have Italian - you can do much better (vs. Cantina Mamma Lucia) in the frozen food section of your local grocer. Bon Appetit!

Overpriced food! Nothing special here, just a high priced sub shop. Definitely have had better subs everywhere else Ive ever gone. To add insult to injury every other time I order they get it it wrong. The only thing decent they have going for them is their pasta, and SOME of the staff is very friendly/polite. Ive given them 5 chances now because they are right next to my work, however I will not be going back. Tired of overpaying for medium to low quality food and messed up orders simply for the convenience of distance. Not worth it.

My wife and i were here for Valentines Day and we both loved the experience. I had the lobster and shrimp special that was served in a fradiovolo sauce and the wife had her all time favorite - salmon al forno. Our meals were fresh and flavorful as usual. We have been going to CML for over ten years and have never been disappointed. The place was recently remodeled and looks great. They added a new dining room and put in new comfortable booths too.

We were out of towners trying to get a bite before our flight. We saw the crowd and thought we couldnt go wrong. The crowd was there for the lunch buffet but we ordered from the Lunch Specials menu. Wow! Great food, reminiscent of real Italian with wonderfully tasty, fresh and light sauces. Nothing over $8 for the specials either. The place is not about ambiance or service. Its all about great food, and at those prices, Im not complaining!

Place for Italian outside of the Bronx and Brooklyn there is no other place in Maryland that does pizza and all Italian food the right way like Cantina mama Lucias. Im not to sing that I come born and raised from the Bronx and can say that Ive done plenty of research in here in the Maryland area and its all garbage cantina mama Lucias is real Italian food!

Tried this place on a few occasions and honestly not impressed in the slightest. Pizza is generic, with the cardboard crust taste. I assume its from dough shipped in and machines that flatten out the dough. Sauce is boring. Their pasta dishes are watery and the marinara is also very watery with little flavor beyond tomato.

Its a family owned restaurant. The owner is a first generation American from Italy. The recipes are authentic Italian and the New York style pizza is true to its name. The pizza crust is the perfect combination of soft and flaky, I thought I was sitting in New York eating pizza. I always feel so welcome when I eat there.

The veal Parmesan sub was bland, the meat wasnt breaded, the it was clearly a low-quality cut of meat. And the fries werent salted when they came out the oil, meaning we had to do it ourselves but they were dry by then so it didnt stick. Terrible experience. $20 for two subs, fries, and one soda
