A visit to the Inner Harbor included a pleasant experience at chain restaurant Brio. Eating late evening on a Monday night meant our party of 5 (4 adults and a rambunctious 3 year old) had the place to ourselves. Many times a late dinner yields spotty customer service and iffy results in the kitchen … luckily, that was definitely not the case this evening! It was my first time at this venue, while the rest of my party make this Monday evening dinner a ritual at least 4 times a year. They keep coming back so obviously that’s a great sign. I do have to say the highlight of the evening was superior service provided by KC! He was an absolute joy and had delightful character. He was quite tolerant of our “little person” who bounced around as you might expect of a toddler. KC made sure the kids meal came out promptly in order to keep our munchkin content. KC helped guide us to our perfect entrée which was greatly appreciated. I found the food to be excellent and I believe everyone’s appetizer and entrees arrived as ordered. I also happened to order a Cucumber Basil Gimlet which proved to be a well-balanced cocktail. My favorite part of the evening included KC’s presentation of desserts: He had much fun (as did we) watching him define and explain each dessert and its forte. Our gaggle certainly believes dessert is serious business and KC understood this well. Cheers to a wonderful first experience at Brio! I plan to visit again on a Monday evening in early April and we hope to see KC there!

My boyfriend & I visited Brio on 7/18/14 (7ishpm seating was outdoor patio). Our server was Jonathon and he was amazing. He was well orientated with the menu and provided us with an extremely warm positive experience. He checked on us & it was not over bearing. We informed Jonathon that our plan was to share dinner. He suggested 3 options and placed them in order. Of course we went with his number one choice. The meal & side order arrived in a separate plate for the both of us. This was all from Jonathon recommendation. And he was correct. I was unable to finish my food. Oh, did I forget to mention he recommended the appetizer and again we was pleased. The entire weekend we talked positively about our server almost forgot how good the food was too. I decided to call and share positive feedback to the manager today 7/21/14. I think that is enough to say that this place is worth the shot. Appetizer spicy shrimp/eggplant entree Pasta Fra Diavolo w/shrimp side order mixed vegetables All so yummy thanks Jonathon you are the best "oh and we witnessed you calming a coworker who was experiencing something not so positive (not too sure what it was about), but you told him "that it would be okay and not to worry" You are great all around. "you never no who is watching/listening" Thanks again :) We will definitely return, but I hope your presence will be there.

Pretty solid place, with a few complaints. The food is good with a variety of options. Drink selection is equally solid, and I really liked the Italian Mule. Service is pretty responsive, with open tables even right before an Oriole game. Our waiter was friendly. Food was of good quality and we liked the salads and flat breads.Atmosphere is quiet and was fairly bright for our visit. It is well situated in the city which is great. There are a few complaints that keep it from being a place I would be excited to visit again. The waiters in general, while moderately attentive, seemed a little apathetic. Little things like not being offered or asked if we would like water with our drinks like many restaurants do, being a little too absent for service than we would like, and running out of copper mugs for the mules without telling us (which is kind of an important part of any Mule). None of this was major by itself, but it added up. More importantly, the food was quite stellar for the price. It was a little on the pricier side, and the food was solid, but not great. Overall, I wouldnt mind eating here again, but I dont think I would go out of my way to recommend it unless we were in the mood for Italian food in the harbor.

I must say to be women and searching for a fine dining exsperiance and amazing atmosphere we came to brio!!! We were shocked and totally appalled by our sever Casey!!! We were about to leave and not enjoy our meals!!! WHICH by the way looked amazing!!! We were than given another server by the name James and he was so totally amazing and changed our moods!!!! He was fabulous!!! Than we had to exsperiance a second exsperiance with Casey as he begun to Harris other employees!!! And was loud and arguing!! It was such a horrid exsperiance but management had done all that they could to try to change the exsperiance!!! I feel as if the employee was rude and disrespectful!!! He than created a huge argument in the back and we heard it all and he was speaking about us being rude!!! Management have us free desert to fix the issue!!! BUT it did not stop the rude and outrageous behavior of the server!! It was such a disappointing evening I was so worked up I ate none of my food!!! I do not recommend this place!!! I asked management to leave sooner they stated service would be fixed but than a whole new incident occurred and we never saw management come back!!! They left poor James on damage control and he was amazing!!!!

I love BRIO Tuscan Grille and I worked at one during college but I have to say this location is extremely unimpressive. Walking into the door my guest and I felt as if we were burdening the staff with our presence. After sitting at the table for apx. 11 minutes we were finally greated by our server. Much to our surprise the server we had been waiting to great us had been standing behind the expo line talking and laughing with the expediter the entire time we had been sitting at our table waiting to be acknowledged by anyone! I wish I could say the service got better but it only got worse. We had to request to hear about the specials which the server didnt know so he went and got two specials menu and returned to our table. The crazy part was he threw the specials on the table and walked away, once again we felt like our mere presence was a burden on the staff....... Hopefully anyone reading this gets the point, stayaway!

Very slow staff, starting to think it;s a Baltimore thing. Everything here takes 20 minutes... 20 minutes for someone to come over to our table to take our order, another 20 minutes to see the sodas at the table, another 20 minutes for the salad to come out followed by the food 1 minute later. My friend is still waiting for her Beer at this point, so she brings it over and I guess its been sitting at the bar for 30 minutes so its warm, Ask for a cold one, it comes 20 minutes later. When do you think we would see our server after we are done eating? 10 - 15 minutes after we are done? no no no you know its another 20 minutes. Now you ask for the check... hmmm how long to get it do you ask? another 20 minutes. We paid cash just so she didnt take the card for another 20 minutes .
