I had a very good dining experience here. I was dining solo, so I sat at the bar (be respectful to the staff, when you are solo that is what the Bar is for at places such as this! Besides the Bar staff was great!). The staff was friendly and made for a very relaxed atmosphere for the clientele. They were good about using names and made sure we were all well pampered. It was clear in the time I was there that this place draws a definite regular and semi-local crowd. Always great to see this still today during my travels. The food was very good. The mushroom bisque was excellent and made for a great starter! Well seasoned, texture was spot on, and the mushroom character really popped. I had one of the specials, Monkfish, and it was cooked perfectly. Nice and meaty, seared just right, with a citrusy beurre blance style sauce. They said is was a chai style seasoning, but I didnt get a big sense of that. Nonetheless it was a delicious dish. The rice was cooked properly, great seasoning, and the asparagus was done very well. I really enjoyed it and would definitely order it again. Many of the folks around me were ordering the soft shell crab special as well, and I heard only accolades. I went all in and got the brownie sundae...whew, i am bursting now!! That one is definitely a share with someone. The brownie was textbook soft with the nice chewy base and edges. I couldnt let it go to waste!! Great ambiance here. Definitely a good place for a special occasion dinner, or like me just treating yourself while traveling! Has a beautiful and nicely sized patio area, but it was raining while I attended so it was closed off. If you are in the area, put this high up on your list to seek out. Very cozy and historic venue. I know there were a few haters in the reviews, but what drew me to it, in fact, was that the the manager addressed many of the complaints in the reviews and assured action to address the concerns. Seemed to me like they are good on their word. Dont pass up a local gem like this. We want more of these places so we can teach our kids what dining should be like...its not all panera and chipotle!

Very nice Restaurant. The food was very good. I had the beef brisket and my wife had the duck. No complaints. The potatoes had the skin left on them the way I like. The onion soup was spectacular. I had the chocolate lava cake for dessert. The waitress was very good, clearing dishes, providing replacement drinks as we finish them, etc. The rolls were warm and the butter was very sweet. Their ice tea was fresh, clean and strong which seems to be difficult for so many restaurants to achieve. The restaurant itself was quite clean and attractive with a bar to fit its label as a tavern. We were here for dinner. This is the first very good restaurant we have found in the Quakertown area. There may be others, but this is the first we have found. I am looking forward to eating here in the future. We will likely have lunch here next time.

I called in a take-out order for their brocolli/garlic spaghetti dish with blackened chicken added. I told the person on the phone (who I believe was the female bartender) that I would come a little earlier to have a drink at the bar. Got a Washington apple martini and it was made excellently. Food took an average amount of time to come out, considering it was Friday and I had no reservation. I brought my food home and everything from the garden salad with champagne vinaigrette (romaine, sliced carrots, onions, a tomato wedge and crumbled feta cheese) to the dinner roll and butter (sweet whipped butter), and the entree itself was fantastic. The only downside is the parking situation, its crowded no matter what day of the week it is.

A local institution that unfortunately is trending downward. Our son ordered Beef Brisket. He got Blackened Fish. Wife and I never got our soup or salad, which our waitress did not realize until we got our entrées. She was very apologetic and scrambled to fix, but what can you do? She offered Salad & Soup to go and free dessert. Were not "Bring me the manager" types, so fine. My medium steak was good, but wifes medium well was incinerated. Definitely WELL. Escargot app was very good. Desserts were no better than any local diners offerings. Bartender makes a nice Manhattan. Thank goodness. Well prolly go back some day, but with lowered expectations.

Tonight three good old friends went to THE BRICK TAVERN to celebrate our 60th birthdays. They all fall within this week. The staff in the bar was super friendly and attentive. We had a superb meal.. Each of our meals, while diverse in selection, was impeccably prepared and served. It has been a long time since weve had a meal and service of this caliber. I highly recommend THE BRICK TAVERN. The dining rooms and bar are well appointed. There is a lovely outdoor lunge. The service is terrific. The food was EXCELLENT!. Thank you BRICK TAVERN for making our birthday celebration even more special!

We live 45 minutes away. We never heard of the Brick Tavern Inn, till our friends recommended it. The waitress took forever to come to our table. When she finally came to the table we gave our drink orders. She brought the drinks over and then we didnt see her again for at least another 10 minutes. We ordered calamari as an app and it was cut very thin and small portion. Being cut so thin made it a little chewy. I ordered crab cakes and the were wonderful. Everyone else enjoyed their entrees. The place is very charming with a outside dining area is very nice. We would meet our friends there again!

Finally had the chance to dine here on St Patricks day. I had a pomegranate martini which was great, not too sweet .There was a question about the menu, and the chef was kind enough to stop by our table. Decided to go with the blackened Salmon Florentine which was amazing.. The champagne vinegrette on the salad was the best Ive had. My husband enjoyed the French onion soup and the beef brisket. No dessert this time, but the Chocolate Pecan Tart is on my to do list:) Our server was attentive and fun. Lorenzo was the musician for the evening...a big plus! Will definitely be returning soon.

We went for an afternoon early supper on a weekend day when it was not crowded and had a delicious super sized Caesar salad, French onion soup and an amazing salmon plate. There was a loud family right beside of us with a crying small child and with the tables fairly close together, the waitress moved us near a window table Upon Our request. The service is very friendly and prompt unless you go when it is crowded which I do not recommend although it does indicate that the food is great and the people keep coming back!
