Quite simply, this was one of the worst dining experiences weve had, period. We arrived at 7PM and didnt see our dinner until almost 8:30. We ordered both our appetizer and dinner at the same time. I ordered one of the specials and my wife ordered a vegetarian enchilada from the menu. The guacamole and chips arrived shortly after that. And then things ground to a halt. We saw a couple, who arrived after the appetizer, served and gone before our dinner was served. It appears that the waitresss was so busy that she didnt have time to say the meal was delayed, until we finally was able to get her attention. When dinner arrived, my meal was hot, but my wifes was, at best luke warm. Our waitress apologized more than once for the problems. However there was no adjustment to the bill as a make-up. After paying the check, we told the owner about the delay and cold food. Instead of the expected apology, he said some people had to wait two hours, and the food was cold because we ate outdoors (temps in the high 70). Summarizing:, Carisma has, at best, no charisma.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Carisma on New Years Eve! The restaurant is warm and lively - when you walk in, the cooks are preparing the food in the open kitchen. We started with tortilla soup. The broth was full of flavor and very freshly made. Our entrees were delicious! The margarita chicken came with fresh lemons and oranges to enhance the sauce, and the mexican rice was a tasty side. Great portion size for a great price, especially for a BYOB in Skippack. The owner not only cooked the food but was very personable and came around to talk to the guests. I highly recommend this neighborhood gem!

Service Was Excellent. Food Was Delicious on like no other Ive tasted in Pennsylvania. The Mexican Cusine and Taste Of The Fajitas Steak Chicken and Fish was Phenomenal. Great Music and Felt Right at home. It is a Very Unique and Divine atmosphere. Im very happy we Choose this Divine Restaurant and the BYOB Wasnt a Problem The Owner Was Very courteous and Attentive. This is not a taco place - this a real authentic Mexican restaurant. The dishes are very different and delicious. Im from Mexico City and I can attest to the authenticity and creativity of the dishes. I still miss the rice and beans side, but the pico is a healthy replacement. The atmosphere is festive along with the background music. The owner is very friendly. He came to check on us and we talked to him for a little while. Well be back!

Had high hopes for this place with all the reviews but was VERY disappointed. It took 2.5 hours to get 1 appetizer and 4 entrees at lunchtime. Turns out there was only 1 server and 1 chef, which was clearly not enough for Mothers Day lunch! To top it off, since it was mothers Day, we were charged dinner prices. Way overpriced, not tasty at all, and way too too long of a wait. I dont recommend eating here, ever!

Chips and salsa ok. Appetizers were decent, guacamole reasonably tasty. Poorly executed dinners. Pork dish was nothing more than a tough pork chop with rice. Chicken was wrapped around cream cheese with tasteless red sauce. Waiter was pleasant, service exceedingly slow. I would have to tell you to avoid this overpriced place.

Excellent Mexican resaurant. The owner and staff are very warm and welcoming. The environment is colorful and pleasing to the eye. Jumbo scallops and shrimp in a delicious mango sauce with Mexican rice, absolutely amazing. Tortilla soup, wonderful. Chocolate mousse, a perfect way to finish. I will definitely be going back.

Great night to sit outside on the patio. The chicken stuffed with cream cheese, peppers, and turkey bacon in red sauce was delicious. My husband had the pork chop special and enjoyed it a lot. We will defenitely return.
