The Spinnerstown Hotel is one of if not the best places to grab a drink and some food in the Quakertown area. There are so many things to like about this place. To start, the newly remodeled bar and pub and dining room is done superbly and has a great atmosphere. This place is upscale for the area but amazingly keeps the hometown bar vibe. The staff is always more than friendly and the bartenders are just as good. If you are a beer lover, you will not find a better place in the area hands down. Not only do they have a ten page bottle list, but their always rotating draft menu is excellent. I can say I am a beer guy and I like that I always find new beers here every time. The owner and his daughter are so entrenched in the beer scene that their passion clearly shines through in the execution of the beer offerings. They always have an event at least once a month and they bring in some excellent breweries. The bar is a great place to hang out and some very interesting people call this place home. I have met everyone from local restaurant owners to beer distributor reps and beyond. All the patrons are friendly and enthusiastic about beer. The food is just as good. There is a great selection of made from scratch items and the chef is top notch for the style of food they make here. Pretty hard to top this place and well worth the short trek out of Quakertown. One of the best in the area!

Talk about a neighborhood gem! Not only is the Spinnerstown Hotel the place to meet your neighbors in this tiny village (it contains a post office, the Spinnerstown Hotel, and a well-worn path to a Christmas tree farm), it has been for very many years pre-dating the microbrew revolution, a destination beer emporium. Sitting in the cozy taproom, youre just as likely to meet a traveler from Maryland as a farmer from Spinnerstown Road - each with some time to kill with a selection from an ever-changing tap lineup. The food is 5 star, by the way. Thats the way my 12-year-old son and I rate everything, with a 1-5 scale. The taproom is thekind of place you can bring your kid for world class cuisine without wandering more than, well, 200 feet from home. Makes the trip home safe (important after a world-class Belgian beer.) Fences make better neighbors? No, great beer, and friendly proprietors and staff make better neighbors.

Spinnerstown Hotel is THE BEST PLACE TO EAT AND DRINK that I have found on my travels to the Quakertown area! It is super easy to get to from the turnpike! The history of the building and restaurant is extremely interesting. They have a beer book listing all the bottles they have from all over the world. Has to be over 300!! And their draft beer selection was amazing! For dinner I had the Ostrich Quesadilla and a Strawberry Chicken Salad! Who would have known ostrich would be so delicious!! Honestly if you have not tried Ostrich before, go the Spinnerstown! They do it right! The Strawberry Chicken Salad was delicious as well! I will be telling my colleagues that when they travel to Quakertown, "Go to the Spinnerstown Hotel!"

I go here 2 times a month. The last three times, my wife and I tried to eat in the bar area. The first time the waitress got my order wrong and was ignorant. The second time the bartender waited on us and was fantastic. The last time we waited for table for 45 minutes, after being told that the wait was only about ten, and proceeded to watch as two couples that came in at least 20 minutes after us were seated before we were. They did not have previous reservations, we were talking to them. That is the last trip there, which is sad because I live around the corner, but the Brick Tavern is just more consistent with their great service and quality wait staff.

We came here on valentines day and we had to walk out. Our server was HORRIBLE. When she finally came to take our orders she told us the items we wanted to order were no longer available that evening. No apology nothing. So we said there is nothing else on the menu we want, please bring the check for our drinks. She never came back. We had to get up and wait by the bar, where the bartender refused to cash out our check. They had to find our waitress. then we had to wait for her to run our card thru. We shouldnt have even paid for the drinks and believe me, she recieved NO TIP!! Never going back....thanks for ruining our valentines spinnerstown!

We had the Bacon Lollipops ($9) with root beer BBQ sauce for an appetizer. Amazing. I had the Irish Reuben ($11) - stout braised corned beef, Swiss cheese, pickled cabbage, Russian dressing, grilled rye...a treat even if you dont usually get excited about reubens. My other friend had the Vermont Sandwich ($12) - grilled chicken breast, Applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, Granny Smith apple slaw, toasted croissant ...it was as good as it sounds. Another friend had the Honey Bacon Jam Burger ($13) with smoked Gouda on a toasted brioche roll. He eats a lot of burgers, and raved it was a 10. Our servers were outstanding. Free wifi.

We went to dinner for our 32 Anniversary last night...Fran our waitress could not have been more more rude to our table. 1. she asked if i wanted my refill beverage from 25ft away 2. she walked by our table about 6 time without a call in spite people obviously needing drinks and one meal not being eaten.... 3. the facility was 2/3 empty and the hostess sat us center patio I have not felt more shunned by anyone like this before....It wont happen at this place again as I will not be going back!!!! Did I say this was a party of 4 the biggest party on the patio at the time!!

Stopped in for a light dinner. Just had some soup and wings and a beer. What a great little small town establishment! Sat at the bar with a really good tap list. Had the Irish onion soup, and it was excellent. Just the perfect balance of sweet and savory! Also had some wings, which were lightly breaded but properly cooked! Had an delicious cask IPA. Very nice bar area and nice deck seating. A lot of travellers hanging around the bar, and made for some fun, pleasant and interesting conversation!

Its been a couple of years since Ive been here and was not happy with the changes. it use to be perfect but I think they are getting to fancy and expensive. We normally go here with our extended family for New Years and we all agreed that this would be our last. Waitresses are friendly, atmosphere is very nice, was not overly excited about the food this time. Sorry to see the prices going through the roof and the menu getting away from its foundation that made the hotel what it was.

Love this place! I frequent this restaurant with friends and family. It is a refreshing change from the hum drum of chain restaurants. The Chef really knows what he is doing by providing a fresh and local food selection with many house made items on the menu that I very much enjoy. As a beer geek I absolutely love the beer selection and rotating on draft beers. Their beer dinners are top notch and rival any Philly beer event!
