My favorite Diner. The Hi Life diner is conveniently located by Karns on the Carlisle Pike. My favorite items include all of their soups, Gyros, Rueben Sandwich, BLT w extra bacon, wraps and Im about to have their chicken cheese steak. Their breakfast items are awesome as well and their prices are extremely value packed. They provide a 10% discount for frequent guests. Its a crime not experiencing this Diner for yourself. Their hours are very convenient and the management team their understands the importantance of great dining and great customer service.

Tried this diner early before Christmas shopping, worst breakfast and service I ever received. I ordered eggs over easy came out broken and fried hard, I did not pay attention when the waitress put them down, and I never saw her again. I finally got up looked for the waitress in the back and told her I needed my check, she never asked if everything was ok! I paid check and then told her to take my plate which I did not touch and take back to the cook and teach him how to cook!!! Will never return!!!

Went in looking for a simple classic american burger, despite the low ratings. I ended up with a premade frozen burger. One look at the menu and its easy to find the problem, there has to be over 300 menu items. If you can imagine it, its on there. This would be a great place to hit up at 3 AM when Im plastered drunk after a long night of partying, but aside from that, it appears to be nothing more than made to order frozen food. Try McDonalds for a better burger, lol.

I was a little nervous because of the negative reviews but being from NJ my love of diners got the best of me. The service was friendly and fast and the food was really good but maybe a bit bland, depending on your taste (my husband disagreed with me). The veggies in the wraps were super crisp, the French onion soup was perfect, and the coffee was fresh. Con- everything came with chips and it was almost $3 extra to substitute with fries.

If you plan on using a credit card beware!! My server was very anxious to get our bill and he ended up adding a 15% tip to the actual total... but we caught him in the act. When I demanded the original receipt he refused... and after arguing he said.... "ohhh. Thats wrong.." And then he voided it. Im sorry, but you do not deserve a 30% tip. Plus what I ordered wasnt very good..

Surprisingly delicious. Stopped in for a late afternoon breakfast but based on the recommendation of the waitress, went for the burger instead. Was certainly glad that I listened: the burger was actually very flavorful and a lot more delicious than some specialty burger joints in the area. Will return again.

I am very happy to see a new restaurant like this! The service was excellent, the food delicious and I am still full 4-5 hours later. I would not recommend the mozzarella sticks as they are the generic ore-ida type that many places use. We were very pleased with our visit though!

I like the fact that they have an excellent atmosphere, very personable staff and variety of food choices. They serve breakfast 24 /7!!!! I have already been there several times and can not find anything to complain about.. Loving this place..
