I usually dont do this...but this was good food...I had the ample sized cone-shaped chicken croquettes ( different looking meal with the croquettes towering over the mashed potatoes and gravy like sentinels.) Sides of broccoli, coleslaw and cream of broccoli soup instead of salad.... Fresh small classic dinner rolls with real butter (thats what the little container said; and it tasted like butter). Ample serving and good service. Croquettes ( had to look it up) had sweet breading and tasted like a chicken doughnut...different but tasty. Soup was hot and not too salted... I would give it a 5 but this lady was walking around with a vacuum cleaner on her back while someone was sweeping all the stuff up from under the counters...which wasnt so bad....but a little distracting. Nice place...will be back.

Convenient for the fact its open 24/7. If I think, "Omg Im so hungry, where do I wanna go!?" This place is not even on my top 5 instant thoughts. Not even top 10. Kinda pricey, not enough food. Like their prices are bigger than their portions. Get a wrap (which is tiny btw), tiny thing of coleslaw, bag of chips. Boom, $15 lol Ridiculous! If Im gonna over spend on small portions, I might as well go to a beyond crazy 5 star restaurant that charges $20 for a single bite of a steak that has some colorful designed layer of something over it lol Theyre food is okay btw. Like its.....ehhhhh. The ONLY thing Ive ever had here that was "OMG!" was their Stuffed Cabbage! Thats it though lol Staff is very friendly !

A lot of food and decent prices. I met my brother and his children and grandchildren for dinner. The portions were large and you get your choice of a salad or soup plus 2 side dishes with the dinners. My nephew got their crab stuffed flounder and said it was really good and his friend got the chicken kiev, my niece got the large greek salad and it was huge. I had a greek salad as my side and my only complaint is, they do not use kalamata olives. Just sliced canned olives. My great-nephew got the chicken quesadilla and just loved it. We had their onion rings as an appetizer, really good. The service was quick and our server was very good.

I gave it 2 stars because the staff was friendly. The food is lack luster at best and nothing to impress. French toast was eggy mush in middle, hash browns werent even browned just warmed bland potatoes, corned beef hash was overly salty mush. There is obviously no pride taken in the food...5 pages worth of menu is 4 too long. I cant imagine anything would be more than passable if they cant master even simple basics. My advice if youre pulling off for a bite, keep driving. There is little quality, care or flavor for your dollar here. Leave it to the locals.

Im an over-the-road trucker and nice diners with quality food at reasonable prices are few and far between. The Middlesex Diner is a favorite destination when passing on I-81/PA turnpike . Truck parking within a block (Flying J) makes this an easy, healthy, friendly place to enjoy a sitdown meal. Try the Salmon salad - its the best Ive ever had. Other entrees, desserts, breakfasts are good food - better than truckstop - and the waitresses are friendly and experienced. If you truck, take a break and enjoy a sit down meal.

Menu says crab is one of their specialties, I ordered a penne pasta dish with shrimp, crab, and scallops $15.95. The crab was imitation crab and 3 small Shrimp I was very disappointed. My husband ordered sausage and gravy over biscuits. The sausage was weird, maybe turkey, not really sure but it made the gravy taste funny not what were accustomed to biscuits and gravy southern style. Large portions but really it was a disappointment for the money. We wont be back.

I dont usually do these but Not very good...waitress didnt ask to fill drinks...forgot my toast with breafast..which wasnt a big deal but had to ask 3 times for it...at the end did not suggest dessert or if we needed anything else..paid Bill and girl said absolutely nothing to us about how our meal was....food was ok...definitely not a five star when I looked it up...was not busy or "slammed" at the time in the resturant....

Middlesex offers a huge variety of food from breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts. Everyday has fresh made specials including prime rib, broiled haddock, vegetarian options, stir frys, and homemade soups. They also have a senior portion menu that offers smaller portions with a lower price. Breakfast served all day, call ahead service for pick up, exceptionally friendly staff, and a great family atmosphere.

Fresh coffee, steak cooked to perfection, home fries that are CRISPY, we all know allot of places dont cook their home fries the right way so I have to be honest. This place is the only one in central PA. I know I can come to at 3 am and still get high quality food as well as service. #Saved, Best place for truckers sense there is a FlyingJ next door I-81 exit 52A.

I stopped here while making a long trip from VA to NY. Is a nice diner, clean and with a good menu. I had the lunch special bacon cheeseburger which was good. Side of mashed potatoes was a bit plain. Service wasnt bad but the girl didnt say hi, and did not smile even once. Maybe she was having a bad day. Overall, not a bad choice for a quick lunch stop.

We always stop here when were driving through the area, and we have never had a bad meal. They are known for their fantastic breakfast food (it really is quite outstanding), but their dinner menu is wonderful as well. The service is ALWAYS fast, and the servers are always very friendly. I wish they would open a location closer to my house!

Although the service was pretty good, the food was horrible. Couldnt even finish my meal due to the lousy taste of the food. They use very poor quality food and it is definitely not worth the price. SUGGESTION: cut your menu choices in half and spend a little more money on better quality products for the half you choose to keep.

Great service and good food which tastes the same the next time you come in. Their menus have large choices to pick. My family likes to eat here. I save myself on Easter and we go here for dinner and have wonderful meal plus I have no dishes or clean up. Would recommend Middlesex Diner for sure.

This place is fantastic. Easily the best diner in the area. Prices are great especially considering the great quality of food they have. Have been going here for about 6 years now with no end in sight. Watch out for Sunday morning and afternoon.. this place is a hot spot for after church meals.

Fast and friendly service. Their salads are always fresh and the portion sizes will fill you up. Even the lunch sized portions are more than enough to satisfy your hunger. You can order the cheaper lunch sizes anytime day or night. A good salad is hard to find!
