My experience was not what i expected. The place looks nice , The waitresses seemed like they enjoyed their job. That was all I found to be good. The bar counter was so sticky I never touched it. . I only had a half hour so I got the fish and chips . Simple food and very good when done right. I got the fried seafood with fries. The worst fish and chips I ever had. The shrimp were so small you felt like you were eating a grease ball of bread. The long stick fish, which looks like it was right out of high school was a step above the shrimp. The sole fish which i was hoping would be the savior ,was the worst piece of fried fish i every ate. NO flavor in the breading and oil burnt to a crisp . Beer Batter? No flavor beer batter. The only good thing i ate was the cole slaw. The icing on the cake of this experience was I paid $20 with the tip. I would have enjoy a whopper more and it would have been 1/3 the price. I wasnt in the mood to complain .It seems like every time you go out to eat ,you are accepting mediocrity and paying a high price for it. If you want to drink a beer and feel ill ,go get some grease at Red Castle. Never Again. OH yah . Change the fry oil once in a while!!Go to Red Robin and try their fish and chips you just may learn something. Thats not saying much. Believe me this place aint making it on Diners Drive in and Dives! I cant believe all the good reviews. I guess people are use to eating crap these days. Or maybe they drink so much beer they cant taste the food.

"loved it " was based on "in the moment " my friend and I passed the brew pub on a bicycle ride and decided to give it a try a few weeks later . I was expecting a" get me out of here nigh"t but that was not the case .The staff was very friendly and interactive with the patrons , small but very nice inside with an outside eating area . The beer choices for my liking were a bit fruity until KNIGHTS OF MAYHEM cascaded over my taste buds , this was my type of beer . Now for the food , the menu was what you would and should expect when you walk into this type of establishment , I have eating steak sandwiches and burgers and wondered how do they screw it up ??? NOT the case !! my steak sandwich had plenty of favor and my friend said her burger was one the best she had in awhile ... Keep up the good work , and brew me a few more tradition style brews please ..

Ive been there several times. I was there tonight. I ordered two king salads to go with dressing on the side for tomorrow and an extra dressing for each. Salads came out with dressing on them. I asked the bartender to take them back and bring me two with dressing on the side. She then brought out two new salads, no extra dressing. She went back and came out with one extra dressing. I asked for one extra dressing for each salad. She said I could only have one. I offered to pay for the extra dressing but the bartender said she was told I could not have anymore. I was very taken back by this. Was the cook mad because I sent two salads back because she made two mistakes and I sent them back? She probably doesnt care but I will never go back again. That was just not customer friendly in my book! I hope the owner reads this

If you expect to find the same type of food at The Castle that you find at Burger King or McDonalds... then you will be disappointed. However, if you like fresh, juicy, thick, handmade burgers, french fries made from real potatoes and a wide variety of free toppings... then The Castle Grill is the place for you. Its not THAT much more expensive than the fast food joints... and you get quality that you cant find elsewhere. The burgers are large, the portions are generous... And you can get things like pierogi, kielbasa, stuffed cabbage and other ethnic treats. In fact - as good as the burgers are, I may never order another... having tried the kielbasa sandwich... Heck, where else can you get a fantastic kielbasa and kraut sandwich with a side of pierogi?

To the woman who sent the two salads back because the dressing wasnt "on the side"....you seem to be the only one who submitted a negative review. Is it possible that you may just be a stuck up snob that likes to give people a hard time? The fact that they put the dressing right on your salad is hardly a big deal, and most people would just overlook that minor mistake and eat the salad anyway. You fail to mention how you treated the server you were dealing with. Im sure that played a major role in how she treated you. Next time you decide to go out to eat at a restaurant, you should consider how hard these people work everyday and stop complaining about trivial bullshit. This place is wonderful and we should have more places like this in our area.

7/13/17 (Thursday evening) This was my second time at Red Castle within a month and I was just as impressed this time! I got a flight of Red Castles beers this time and will be back for more! Thanks again! 6/17/17 (Saturday afternoon) Red Castle has great food and beer! Both of the friends I was with got the Kickin Cowboy Burger and claimed it was genuinely the best burger theyd ever eaten. I got a flight of the rotating PA beers they serve and cant wait to get back so I can try Red Castles flight and the Kickin Cowboy! Thanks!

Is Joe Blow kidding? Typical Lehighton food? So everything is fresh and authentic in Lehighton? Not only is the food great but you also get rewarded to eat there! I only had the hamburger’s once it was very good and that’s because I love getting the Polish Platter every time I go! Free samples, fresh hot soup’s in the cooler months and I don’t mind waiting for a fresh hot meal either! Nice little Polish section on the side and now their own beer! This place is a must see! Best of luck! “Stolot”

Only received 4 stars because of the weird hours. I guess they dont want to be a late night hang out bar?? I dont know. Otherwise, the food is great, the beer is great and it is incredibly well done on the inside. Never expected it to look like that the first time I walked in. I guess the outside could be nicer. Anyway, food and beer is most important. Great, innovative place in an area that desperately needs great, innovative places. Well done.

This place is a gem. They make some interesting beers and the food is fantastic. They have fantastic German Food in addition to the standards, as well as Majestic Tots that would likely make Napoleon Dynamite s day. Give this place try. Also check out the Gem and The Keystone over by Shawnee and Snitz Creek out in Lebanon if you like little PA Breweries. And by all means, make sure to check their Oktoberfest they put on. Really cool!
