The wings were bleeding in the center. The "medium well" steak was rare, but charred. The fried oysters were bland. The staff was sloppy. Our waitress was very nice, but had a booger in her nostril. The crabcake was delicious on top, but burned on the bottom. The waitress took back the chicken & steak & removed it from the bill, but i made due with the crabcake. The "chef" came out and did what chefs who are embarrassed by kitchen mistakes do...he apologized, and said that he would comp the entire bill & offered options to replace the trash meals. My husband got another soup & I had a brownie sundae...which I ALSO had to send back for a cold hard brownie.... Well, when its time to leave the waitress offers us the bill. I see it has all of the items minus the bleeding chicken & raw steak. I remind her that the chef is comping the bill; he had spoken to the manager/bartender prior. Well after we stayed instead of walking out at first blood, the manger changed his mind. We paid the bill, tipped the apologetic waitress & left with the FULL intent to alert he WORLD to avoid this place at ALL costs. We pay & pay well for our outings, so it was less about the "comp"=free and more about "comp"=compensation for a horrible meal. The chef attempted to offer restitution to us, but the manager who NEVER came to explain, apologize, or correct anything, but instead only gave direction to the staff, over ruled him. So now this place TOTALLY loses in food and service. Will drive back across the bay to eat before I would EVER eat in this place again....

Sitting here enjoying a nice stout with some good friends, and all I can think about is how amazing the vibe this place has. The wood all over the place gives this place a very "homey" feel to it, same with the patrons. The server (Danielle Geib) was very nice, being a graceful wordsmith making our night incredible. The music in the background is phenominal, not only song choice but I have to say the volume was splendid, not too loud nor too soft. Last but not least, everybody was incredibly polite; I just want to go outside and hug everybody that I feel needs some love. Thats the power that the washington street pub has, the power of love.

The waitress lounged on the table next to ours while taking an order. The fried clam "meal" was delivered in a cardboard tray like you would see at the beach. There was only about 10 tiny clams. "nugget size". They boasted whole clams on the menu. The cheeseburger was less than average. Thats all we had and it took for ever to get the meal. We have been eating at the Pub for at least 25 years when we were in town even taking guests there and looking forward to it. NEVER AGAIN

I have always had a good experience here! Now, were not talking fine dining here, but more like very economical, filling, and low key. Lots of beer on tap and a full bar, raw bar, and a decent sized menu can suit many tastes. The boyfriend loves the Chesapeake Chicken Sandwich, and I usually do the Imperial Twin Sandwiches. Love the "chips" too, which are fries cut in circles. Give this place a chance, and Im sure youll love it too!

Since they replaced the old menu - something is not right. Bring back the good old fashioned bar food. Our dinner was so - so. small portion - the presentation was boring. The steak was OK but nothing more on the plate than mashed potatoes? waitress didnt explain veggies were alacarte.. seems like they are trying to be something they are not. We were shocked at the lack of selection for dinner.

personally, I love this place. its a hole in the wall kind of place. cool atmosphere. the set up with the brick walls works well and shows its historic side. the food is excellent i love the sweet potato chips the most. was hesitant to try the bison burger but was amazed by it:) We take my "not-from-here" family on occasions and is now their favorite.

I just ate at the newly reopened Washington St. Pub in Easton. It was horrible. My prime rib was cold and so was my mothers. The prime rib had little taste and was covered in a thick brown sauce that had even less taste than the meat. Coupled with their massacred menu, I never want to go back again. Worst meal Ive had in a long, long time.

It was very noisy at the bar. Took a long to get a drink. Being ignored for quite a while. Interesting hostess and hostesses implied the bar was full. Apparently didnt want our happy hour business. We went in anyway, and found seats. The women bartender was attentive. But guy never gave us eye contact.

new owner did a nice job brightening the place up. They however lost me as a customer. We waited over 45mins for a steak salad and burger. Had to get it to go. Food was not worth the price. $12 for a petry fish size crab dip. $35 cold lunch to go please. Do not recommend under new ownership.

This is a really nice place to eat lunch. I had the Sly Fox, basically a Rachel, and a very good one. My wife had the Chuck Mangold and said it was the best knife-and-fork sandwich shed had in ages. The fries are outstanding and the service is excellent. Highly recommended.

While traveling through a stop to this really cool spot the food was great and the service was just as good. That was knowledgeable about everything on the menu. If you need to goodbye to eat and a good drink this is the place to be.

Rotating seasonal menu with great food a decent prices. Ample portions and a fantastic rotating beer list. Full bar with great selection. Popular place but rarely too crowded to be uncomfortable.

For $15 I got a turkey sandwich which was so bad I should have sent it back. The meat was worse than a public school cafeteria. They dont even have proper fries. Its bar food with high end prices.

Stopped in during Water Foul Festivsl. Seated immediately at 11:45am. Our server was Amber who sets the standard for friendly and knowledgeable about menu. Great experience, will be back.

Food was ok but the service was not the best. The lady serving us struggled, the bartender made the wrong drink, and they seemed to be understaffed on what seemed like a regular Saturday.

Fun atmosphere but dont expect eye contact or personality from any of the bartenders...they are robots. Their description when we asked how the oysters were was "slimy & dirty"...really?

An Easton tradition...you never know what youre going to get until you get here. The service is good and the staff is friendly and helpful. The fish tacos are surprisingly wonderful!

Chicken biscuit app, awesome! Pretty much everything on the menu is an interesting combo of ingredients. Service could have been a bit better but food and beer overcame.

Food is just okay. Menu does change often, and the item descriptions sound creative and tasty but the flavor often just isnt there. They do have great fried pickles, though!
