Absolutely amazing! Im from Cambridge, but I live and work in Prince Georges & Montgomery Counties, respectively, and Im a traveler...So, I know great places! My struggle, when visiting my hometown, has been the lack of atmosphere, culture and vibe of local establishments. Until I entered, sat, and fully experienced The Wine Bar, the owners, the staff, other patrons, offerings, pairings, and the gourmet shop (I took items out with me, after sitting in for about 2 hours to enjoy the New Zealand tasting event). Everything was amazing! So much so, Im excited to know they are open today (Sunday), so that I can stop in for lunch before hitting the road to return to the Western Shore. Randy & Ed, owners, are personable, genuine, fun, upbeat, uplifting, and great people, which made my experience just wonderful! So, do yourselves a favor -- And stop in! Try the chocolate covered Brazil nuts...and the duck pătè -- TO DIE FOR! Forever my favorite hometown spot...The Wine Bar -- Truly a treasure!

There are only about a dozen attractive shops in downtown Cambridge and "A Few of My Favorite Things" is definitely one of them. The shop window is so inviting and the the Planet Dog logo on the door so welcoming that I thought there was a good chance my small dog would be welcomed here as it was at every other shop we visited in town that day. Not so! I opened the door and the shop owner snarled a look of horror as I asked if a well-behaved dog would be okay. It was a look that spoke volumes. "No, of course not, you idiot, how dare you ask. This is MY shop." So no, we couldnt get in, and her reaction discouraged me from handing the dog off to my husband for a look. If Id entered Im darn sure I would have been surrounded by signs like "Unattended children will be sold" and "You break it you bought it" and the favorite "No refunds."

I usually stop in Cambridge so I can take a break from the traffic on my way to/from Ocean City every year. This shop is great! Ive always found the owner to be warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great selection, fair prices, and I see different items stocked every year. As for the other reviewer: Im thankful that the shop owner didnt let her bring her dog into the store -- its a gourmet food shop that sells cheeses and chocolates... allowing people to bring in their dogs would be totally disgusting and probably a health code violation! Kudos, shop owner! Keep up the great work!

The new owners, Randy & Ed are great! The wine tastings are not to be missed, a real bargain. The gourmet cheese and meat plates (charcuterie) are really delicious, and they recently added gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches with delicious soups. We love the quiet vibe of the place. A great place to relax and unwind.

Love this cute and quaint place. The selections of wine, beer and cheese are fabulous and just enough without going overboard. Bring a friend or two and check it out! Youll return.

Very nice people. Limited food beyond chocolate and cheese. We didnt eat but they had sushi and sandwhiches for lunch. Also wine and beer happy hour specials.
