I tried to like it, but I couldnt. I was here a month or so ago, looking at the rave reviews, so I gave it a shot. Ill admit, I came away very disappointed. First off, I wanted to order a half and half (some people call it a black and tan), but the bar didnt even have a good English ale or lager on the list. The server looked at me funny, saying "whats that?" I had a funny feeling about this, but shrugged it off. Then came the French Onion soup. The cheese was a little over charred, but all in all, a good soup. Then came the entrées. My date ordered the fish and chips, I got the bangers and mash with a side of mushy peas. The fish was sitting on newspaper-patterned wax paper, which completely destroys the reason fish was put in newspaper to begin with. The fish was very greasy, and getting very soggy. The chips were alright, palatable, but nothing remarkable. My bangers were actually tasty. However, the mash was the bastion of inconsistent. The potatoes themselves were very under salted, but the gravy was very over salted. I mixed the two, and out came out salvageable, but the color looked awful. The mushy peas were extremely salty! I dont know how I finished them, but I did, but my mouth was so dry afterwards. I really wanted to like this place, but a few glaring errors really have my opinion set on passing this restaurant and going elsewhere.

Before I begin, most people dont realize there is a ton of lot parking on Leedom st (near the firehouse), its a 3 min walk from the lot to the front door. Otherwise street parking could be an issue on the weekend. Now for the review... Ive traveled to England for work a lot... and what I enjoyed most are the local little pubs that have been there for 500+ years. Locals meeting up and shooting the... First time I walked into Kings Corner, it reminded me of a pub from England.... from the door to the menu (fish and chips, bangers and mash). This place is great when its colder outside or the weather isnt that great, my only critique is that the outside seating area isnt great. Otherwise I dont think you can go wrong by coming here. Great atmosphere/theme, great food and brews, and its very reasonably priced. Cheers!

How I really want to love this place. It has so much potential, but the food always lets me down. We have been here numerous times since they first opened. I love the beer list, and they do that well. The food menu has all of the right items on it, but they are often inconsistent. When they first opened the food was delicious, but it has been down hill ever since.

Place is a block off the main drag, but definitely worth stopping by. There isnt a bad seat to catch any game. They are pretty accommodating with anything you want to watch. They also have a great selection of beer on tap and in bottles. Not to pricey for the great service and product youre getting. Kings is one of favorite spots after work! Enjoy!

The sister tavern to Jenkintowns famous "The Drake". This English style pub has top notch food. Whether you get the fish and chips, bangers and mash or the Sheppards pie, you will not be disappointed. A great selection of beers on tap an in bottles. Its well worth a visit for good food, good drinks, and warm, friendly service.

This is my favorite place to watch a game in Jenkintown. The beer selection is one of the best in the area and the food is always good. The bar area can get a little crowded at times but there is more seating in the back and there is a small outdoor area too. Overall a solid little bar.

I am a big fan of Kings Corner! The food is great and the service is always equally as great. Stop in for a quick drink. Do brunch. Have dinner with friends. But definitely yourself a favor and try any of their fried desserts

Always good service at the bar. The bartenders are amazing and the Jenkintown people are warm and friendly. Also, the food is awesome. Last time I was here I got the dirty fries. A++++
