We LOVE P&K, especially the fabulous Windsor Burger. But we went Friday and it was a real let down. First they got the order confused and brought us the wrong food. Then the burgers finally arrived and it just wasnt the same. The fries arrived so mushy and greasy we sent them back. The bun was undercooked--usually it arrives browned on the inside with just a slight crunch. This time it just tasted like any ordinary bun. The seared onions were just a wet, tasteless lump. I had friends with me from NYC and told them what a great meal they were about to have. It was kinda embarrassing. P&K used have the best burger in town, hands down. What happened?

Deeply disapointed. We went early on News Year and waited over 45 minutes, even though the place was nearly empty. The waitress offered no explanation or apology and then disappeared. She appeared to be a zombie lacking eye contact or personality. The burger was excellent but the bill was well over $100 for small portioned pub fare and a few beers. They played loud bad MOR 70-80s music really loud throughout the meal (INXS, Michael Jackson, Pat Benatar, etc.). It seemed like we were invading a bad dorm party. Wont be back.

Ive gone here multiple times, at a table, great service, great food. At the bar, horrible service. Ive been made to feel stupid on one occasion when asking about how they got a Brooklyn Brewery to do a beer just for them (told, dont you know who we are?) and every time at the bar easily 10 minutes wait from the time your glass is empty before they decide to ask you if youd like another, even though theyve passed buy you at least a half a dozen times, even take an empty without asking you if youd like another.

We had an 830 reservation, checked in, and were asked to wait patiently at bar immediately adjacent to the hostess. After half an hour we asked for status of table and she said she texted us earlier and we didnt answer so she gave our table away. We NEVER left her side...she couldnt tap us on the shoulder or call our name? We were literally 6 inches away the entire time. We were never told to keep an eye on our phone to get tsble. She was booked and we were tired of waiting. We left.

Executive Chef, Steve Eckerd, knows what hes doing in the kitchen. This mans food pairings are phenomenal, and he knows how to liven up a menu. I hadnt visited before Chef Steve took over, but I enjoyed all the food on our recent visit. I even loved the pork belly, and I usually dont eat pork! The only thing we did not enjoy was dessert. The beignets were lacking flavor, and the chocolate sauce was not sweet at all. We sat outside and the outdoor seating was lovely on such a nice day.

The atmosphere and decor was amazing. The service was over the top as well. The server was quick, charming, attentive and clever. The restaurant has a rustic-modern feel. Patrons are young and lively. I must comment, the the food was very salty. I wanted to try something new and sampled the veal small plate and the beets appetizer. Plating is excellent but taste suffers. I would go back and do the burger and soup. The cocktail selection and vibe is worth the trip. enjoy!

Easily my favorite restaurant in Philly. Really get your bang for your buck. Its Upper-middle in price range (cheap compared to NYC), but you get top quality food. A decent beer list too. Ive been several times and loved everything Ive ordered. I can highly recommend the fish and chips with mushy peas!

My waitress was nice, but it took 30 minutes to get our drinks, and the calamari was just bread crumbs. I said it wasnt great and they took it back with no charge. The chef then proceeded to send out another calamari in protest to defend his calamari. Even worse than the first one.

I am English and love Fish and Chips, most of the Fish and Chips I have tried in the city are disappointing. Pig and Whistle Fish and Chips are authentic and delicious, it might be a little expensive but factor in that the portion served is generous and this is the real deal.

P&K has a great drink selection and a superb rotating menu. They have some of the best service in the city. They will do a great job with everything, and still sometimes theyll provide free extras. The generosity alone is a great reason to be a regular here.

Food was good and the atmosphere is what youd expect from a neighborhood bar. We started with oysters that were great and then had the burger and pork belly special. Excellent beer selection and drink menu. I recommend this place and ill definitely go back

Food was awful. I had the prawn appetizer and I am not sure if it was raw or severely overcooked. Then, I had a burger that was so undercooked(although I ordered it medium well) that it was not funny. Other than that, the place was awesome.

I have never thrown a burger in the trash before. Thankfully Pub and Kitchen showed me that such a thing is not only possible but in this instance is also advisable. Save your money and leave this overpriced swill for the hipster sect.

Really good, but in the end its just your typical center city pub/bar/restaurant that takes itself a little too seriously. This results in small portions of, admittedly, tasty food for, admittedly, too much money. Good beer, though.

despite the place being mere blocks from my house, it doesnt fall high on my list of places i go. overpriced and crowded on weekends. on occasion, they have a decent dish (but you will probably pay an arm and leg for it).

Great little place in grad hospital. Always packed tends to get a little noisy but it has pleasant outdoor seating during the warmer months. The fish sandwich was better than their burger. Both with delicious fries.

Great burger, great beer. The entrees are generally quite good as well. Something as simple as roast chicken is executed perfectly here, and they have much more adventurous stuff as well.

Perhaps my favorite bar in Philly. Delicious food menu changes seasonally as well as the craft cocktails. Excellent whiskey selection, friendly bar staff, great people watching outside

The food was OK... not the most flavorful. But the ambiance was cool, charming and romantic. The drinks werent bad. 3 stars for food with an added star for setting a great mood.

Weve come here a few times for the burger and have walked away happy. The meat is cooked just right and the portions are pretty big. I can barely finish a whole one.

Burger easily beats Brooklyn Dumont Burger (take that Peter). Sad that they discontinued the Windsor Burger with those delicious pickled onions. Bring it back.

A little pricey but a great place—Churchill burger was perfect, and decent beer and wine selection. Desserts also delicious!

Loved the wings and the fries. Atmosphere was lively and cozy and the service was great. Would definitely go back
