Overall, this is definitely one of the best pubs in a neighborhood full of good pubs. Sometimes parking is crowded (welcome to Manayunk, shouldve taken a cab) and the cash-only policy is a bummer, but service is friendly (especially if you know your craft beer) and there are always new delicious brews on tap, right next to less adventurous staples like Yeungling Lager (if youre into that). The food is great pub fair resonably priced, and the weekly specials and nightly live music just complete the package. Great spot for a date!

We stopped by last Friday, March 11th. Ordered two meals and a beer. It took a long time for one meal to arrive and the other one never did. An hour later still no second meal. I complained and was only charged for one meal. The bartender was apologetic and said it was a small kitchen. I am still wondering how the group of four at the table next to us ordered after we did and were promptly served all their food before anything was served to us. The Dawson Street Pub is not on my recommended list.

One the hidden jewels of the city. Rotating craft beer list curated by the owner. Always something new. See national & local bands play Wed-Sat most weeks. Even some Sundays & Mondays. They also have award winning bbq one weekend a month. Half price drafts for happy hour 7 days a week between 5&7pm. Great vegetarian options on the daily menu as well as killer sweet potato fries. Yum.

I have been going to Dawsons for years. Everyone who works there is amazing, including the owner, Dave, who is always around. Not only do they have live music, but they show art, have plays, and support all local arts. They have a great vegetarian food selection with reasonable prices. An excellent place to drink with friends and make friends.

Everytime I go here is a great experience from the staff to the live music. Patrons are friendly and welcoming food is delicious. Overall never had a bad time and thats the truth. I dont know whats on tap but its always changing and amazing. Come here with friends or by yourself and have a fun time. I love Dawsons.

Great music, great place to chill and have a good beer, they have a great selection. Bartenders are cool and down to earth. Food is good as well. Wednesday open mic for all the up and coming artists in the area. Monthly BBQ around the middle of the month which is award winning =)

This is a great place. Beer selection is awesome. Food is a great value and all the standards are covered. They support live and local music which personally wets my whistle. The staff is great and real.

Its away from, well, everything. Deep in the hood. Beer selection is just right. Feeling is good. Nice to take a friend and talk and drink. Yup. Owners always been friendly. Staff too.
