I have been going to this place since 1999, it has excellent food. They have great sushi and hibachi and they really put on a show when you order and sit down at the hibachi table. They regularly advertise in the Clipper Magazine and in the Patriot-News for 15% off entire check, so its definately worth it. The people are very nice and courteous. We use the all you can eat sushi special, so it really is worth it. and you just get at least 5 TNT rolls and its worth it. They also have a selection of wine and alcohol, before that they had BYOB. They have the royal club which is only 24.95 per person but its all you can eat, with the exception of lobster and a few smaller items.

I ate there for the first time last night. When I got my onion soup, there was a BUG in it. They brought me another soup (which one can only assume came from the same pot) and never apologized. The waitress showed it to the other waitress and they LAUGHED about it. I was not compensated in any way. I have been to other Tokyo Diner locations and never had a problem. I will NEVER go to this Tokyo Diner again, the tables were dirty as was the whole restaurant. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The family really enjoys Tokyo Diner. All the fun of a hibachi, but half the price of the franchise restaurants. The food is fresh and delicious. Their sushi is probably the best in the area. I go for lunch, as well. For the prices of lunch these days, this is a great bargain for the $ spent. Take the family for a dinner one evening, or stop in for lunch. Either way, you will not be disappointed.

Normally a really good eat. Came tonight with my family and ordered a Godzilla roll they gave me spicy tuna and celery with avacado on top n just eel sauce. I asked wheres the tempura and spicy mayo n he said we make it different now. Well change the menu. Never been so insulted in my life. I know the difference. Now the girl that always n only orders a Godzilla roll. Ordered a dragon roll.

First off the tea tasted old. We ordered appetizers and they bring out the mussels and out from the plate comes a cockroach. We tell the waitress and she acted like we did something wroung. She was mad at us as if we should of just looked that over. She looked at the cockroach picked it up and threw it away. Needless to say ill never go there again.

They are very disrespectful. Did not give good portions of food. Asked for what I ordered and they acted very greedy. They refused to fill up a sauce container to the top with sauce... Horrible service... Do not go here if you are looking for a family friendly environment or a place to fill you up because they are greedy

I will level with you. Its not the best sushi in Harrisburg. Its good, but not the best. The reason you go here is because for $25 you can get AYCE sushi. Plate after plate of the stuff. There are a few restrictions, like no lobster rolls, but this place is a cant miss celebration spot among my friends.

My family and I have been dining at this restaurant for 20 years now. The sushi chefs are always excellent and the sushi is excellent. The staff treat us like family. I highly recommend the food, prices and friendly ambience. My daughters have enjoyed the sushi here since they were babies.

My family and I use to go here often but theyou have gone downhill. The place is so cold you have to leave your coat on and still freeze and the sushi is inedible. Delivered wrong sushi platter and argued with me that it was correct. It was all cooked sushi and we never order that, ever.

Ive been coming here for around 10 years and have always enjoyed it. They renovated a few years ago and the place looks great. Staff is friendly and the sushi is wonderful. I love the TNT roll and the masago roll (this is one of the few places Ive found that makes a masago roll).

Tokyo Diner is a great place for a Dinner or lunch.. I have read the other comments and find the One star comments funny, because I have been going to Tokyo diner for 7 years and never had bad service or a bad meal. Please Please visit, eat, enjoy a little bit of the east...

This is usually my first choice for a sushi meal, they have a vegetarian roll too, which is freakin awesome! Its called a Green Roll, consists of Spinach, Avocado, the sweet brown sauce on top w some sesame.. yummy, I crave it everytime I think about it!

While the service may be curt and will get really angry if they catch you sharing an order of "all you can eat (membership required)," this is the best sushi place in the greater Harrisburg area. Give it a try, see for yourself.

They have the worst customer service. Non of the employees care about their customer, if you request something they either forget or just ignore. Also their food price is ridiculous for the taste. Avoid it at all cost.

I go here occasionally and think the sushi is good. Hibachi is good as well. They recently renovated the place so it is starting to look better. Its a decent place but the location is kind of odd... behind lowes.

The sushi was good, but nothing special. The atmosphere was a little dull. The staff were quick to take orders and serve. Prices were very reasonable. The building was very clean. Bathrooms were a little gross.

The food is okay compared to the Tokyo diner in York. I mostly get sushi, but I do the hibachi dinner show every now and then, and Im not a fan of this Tokyo diner. Bottom line... The food isnt worth the $$.

This tokyo diner has taken a downfall over the years. If you want to go to another Tokyo Diner, i suggest going to the one in Hershey. Much better food and always alot less crowded.
