Would only come here if it was late night! I wanted to give this place another try since it was close to my location. Boy did I make a mistake. We were seated quickly so I was happy about that. Our waitress seemed out of it, not remembering what we ordered or what we wanted to drink. We ordered chili and they brought it out in no time. That was awesome. However the soups were spilled all over the cup and plate. It was very messy. We waited about 20 min for our food to come out. Seriously? Diners should take half the time. Once my food came out it was good for diner food. I ordered a chicken wrap and substituted my cole slaw for apple sauce. I found a hair on my plate of food. Because i was tired, I wasnt in the mood to complain. My boyfriend ordered a panini and needed extra marinara sauce. The waitress went back. 5 min come by and shes nowhere to be found. I realize my apple sauce was missing as well. So where do i find her? Back by the kitchen door talking to her other co-workers. Obviously it wasnt work related cause they were standing around laughing their heads off. She caught my eyes from across the room and finally came over. We had to remind her about the apple sauce and marinara sauce =[. The service and hair in my food is the reason i have it 2 stars.

Arrived at 740 PM with a mostly empty parking lot. Walked in and was seated and waited 10 minutes for a server that never came. Watched five servers just talking it up less than 8 feet from me. Had to go back to front desk and ask for a server. Possibly the evening manager asked me what I needed. I asked how I could get a waitress. She asked me where I was sitting and then looked to the fiver servers in my section still talking. Lady asked me if I was ready to order. I asked her where my server was. No answer. I thanked her for her service and told her to have a wonderful evening. If the food was good, cant rate it since I was never served.

What a disappointment. I visited their York location for breakfast earlier this month, and it was fabulous. At this Lancaster location the same breakfast was not only more expensive but the sausage could not be cut with the breakfast knife provided. The has-browns barely made it to the grill and showed no discernible browning. While the white bread at the York location was delicious country bread, the bread at the Lancaster location looked like plain old sandwich bread barely toasted. I will add that I visited the Lancaster location on a Sunday at about 9:30AM and the York location on a Saturday at about 12:30PM

I have been to this diner several times and I LOVE IT. I have been a waiter at Red Lobster, so I know what its like to serve in a similar atmosphere. Even though Lyndon is a diner, I treat it more like a restaurant than any other diner, because all the food and service I have gotten at this diner as been on another level! I have been there both in the wee hours of the morning, the middle of the day, and late night. During a rush, and during downtime. I tell many people about Lyndon, and I am more than pleased with Lyndon. Itll always have a place in my heart as a place where good food and memories were made.

First of all, the food had a genuine home-cooked meal taste to it. My family really loved the food and the environment. However, our waitress (Trisha) was incredibly rude. She hastily threw down our menus and did not come back for at least 20 minutes to take our drinks. When she brought the food in, she did not bother to ask who had ordered what. She just put them randomly on the table, and we each had to pass around different plates. Overall, she was not well trained and needed to learn some manners. Otherwise, I love this place, but I recommend you request a different waitress.

Been going to Lyndon Diner in Lancaster for many years and it is by far superior. My kids are grown now and it has become a tradition for us to have a "family breakfast" on Sundays as often as possible and it is always at Lyndon Diner. I am always able to call the night before and make a reservation for 10-15 of us and they are always prepared when we get there. The food is awesome and we always have a good experience. Now Im just waiting for the new Lyndon in York to rise up to that excellence.

3rd shift staff was very friendly and talkative not very much do seem as if there were several waiter on break dining in. I called in a order and after I got there and paid what I order wasnt available so I order something different and then what I first order was available so ok! But when I got home nothing that I ordered was correct ! I ordered 3 meals and not 1 was right. Very disappointed and when called to inform management there was nothing that they could do.

Love This Diner! Breakfast is awesome and amazingly priced. The Lyndon Breakfast Special comes with everything and Pancakes too, all for under $8. The rest of the menu is great as well. I love going for dinner and ordering a drink from the bar, and they handle large parties with ease. We had a party of 12 last night and our waitress was on task, friendly, and extra helpful. Our friends left happy and bragging about the food.

This is pretty awesome diner. Contrary to many of the other reviews here, Ive never had bad service. At worst, I think they can be a little slow when its busy (which is often). The food ranges from pretty good to great. Were talking diner fare, here, of course, but most of what Ive had here is well above average for a diner. And the really great thing about it is that they serve alchohol. A diner with booze? Genius!

Excellent diner typique avec un personnel très accueillant et une nourriture bonne avec des prix raisonnables. Je recommande fortement aux touristes qui cherchent à se plonger dans lambiance américaine !

We went there with 3 of our 5 kids. The table they sat us at was spacious enough. My wife and I ordered the Diner burger which was very good. My kids all had the ravioli off tje kids menu. We ate all of it, amd then had some amazing cheesecake. The food and service were great, however the restroom was not functional. The one john was covered with a plastic bag and the other overflowed each time you flushed.

BEST DINER IN TOWN. HANDS DOWN. I come here once or twice a week with my daughter. (Were here right now) Service is always super fast and friendly, even during the busy times. I appreciate all the love they show my 1 1/2 yr old daughter. Prices are great, and hey, they serve alcohol for those late nights lol. I will always recommend Lyndon Diner.

Had to wait longer than we should have for our appetizer. Two minutes later, our food came. We didnt even finish our appetizer and now our food is sitting here getting cold! Also, there were onions in my what was to chocolate chip pancakes but no chips..... and the burger was burnt. We wont be dining here again.
