I have been going to the DR for many years now, and overall Im always pretty happy with it. The burgers are very tasty, the cream of mushroom soup is awesome, the nachos are way up there (could use meat on them, but still good). Obviously the beer selection is great too. Where they have consistently fallen short for me is with their seafood. First, my wife got a shrimp dish, and the shrimp REEKED and BURNED of bleach! I thought she was just nuts or exagerating until I tried one. The smell alone caused me to cough. (many distributors or restaurants rinse shrimp in bleach to keep them from spoil, but they must be THOROUGHLY rinsed, which these were not even close to being). Second, I got their Big Fish sandwhich, which Ive had numerous times and usually love. This time, it has the full skin of the fish still on it, then fried overtop! Nasty! Tasted terrible until I peeled off the batter and the skin underneath. Third was softcrabs that I got there. They came out RAW. Im a huge crab lover, but raw soft crab is not something I could stomach, much less the major health hazzard involved. Really disgusting. I sent them back and they cooked the same bitten/cut crab to a burnt crisp. So, three strikes with seafood and theyre out. Ill keep going back, but stick to non aquatic items.

Having eaten here a couple years ago, I decided to take my daughter & her boyfriend for dinner before they headed back to college. I was disappointed this time, and got the feeling they are just going through the motions, but not attending to details. Everyone seemed to enjoy the nachos for appetizer. Crab cakes were mediocre, with lots of crab shell still in one of them. If they make these themselves, they better start cleaning crab better. I had the flat iron steak which alone, would have been tasty, but they laid it in a most overpowering chimicharri sauce which I needed to scrape off to little avail. Has the chef honestly tasted this dish? Along side was a large plop of mashed potatoes which were tasty but just lukewarm. For an $80 meal I felt let down and taken advantage of.

A few friends and I took on the Drafting Rooms Sunday brunch this weekend and it was a phenomenal decision! Service was very friendly and engaging. Omelette station with a chef on hand, seafood options, breakfast quesadillas that were superb and my personal favorite included eggs "Benny" with crab and spinach over an English muffin. Delish! French toast, piles of bacon on the ready, sausage, chicken tenders, Mac n cheese, waffles that were out of this world and super crisp....the list just goes on and on! Simply just an awesome brunch buffet thats certainly worth its listing price. Give this place a look, will definitely be visiting again!

Very nice rustic feel to the space. Large array of choices...something for everyone! David, our waiter, was very friendly and helpful in narrowing down choices. I had the falafel burger with the tabouli salad. It was incredible. Great flavor. I am one to salt and pepper everything but this didnt need an assistance. My guest had the jambalaya and that was so flavorful and filling. The desserts looked so good but we had to pass as we were too full. Next time will definitely try the apple pie with cinnamon ice cream! I definitely recommend.

Went there this Am for a Birthday Brunch with my neighbors, I have been there before and it has always been good. Today it was below par, we all ordered eggs Benedict from the Ala care menu something they also have for those doing the buffett. It was not crowded ,maybe a total of 3 other small groups during our visit but the service was extremely slow and the food was barely warm, there was very little sauce and that wasnt warm either. I think the food sat and I dont know why since they were not busy at all .

Have visited this restaurant many times but my on my most recent visit the experience left a lot to be desired. The three dishes my party had, crab cake, chicken and flat iron steak were al below average with very little taste. The cost of the meal was excessive, a crab cake at Maggies in Pilgrim Gardens cost $10 and is much better than the one I had which cost $17. Will not be visitng in the future. The service was good.

This place has been here a while, but we are new to the area. We have visited this place 3 times with just so-so results. The bar atmosphere is lackluster and each time weve visited their drafts were heavily weighted towards IPAs. I like IPAs, but some variety would be better. Food is just OK and with several other options now open nearby, I suspect it will be tough for this establishment going forward.

After a terrible experience elsewhere, we arrived at the drafting room hot hungry and cranky. We sat outside bc we had dogs, the bartender served us which Im sure was inconvenient as we were not close to the bar. The hostess was super friendly and welcoming and the bartender blew us away. They even sliced fruit for my son. We will be forever guest. Great food, amazing hospitality...awesome

My kids ate their food delivery at summer camp last year. They said the lunch was the highlight of the camp. Today we finally came for a sitdown lunch. They loved the ravioli and the pasta, saying they are "the best pasta ever". I had the "bottomless mussels on Monday". Tried two big bowls with two sauces. Very tasty! See photos. Will come back tomorrow :)

Why not provide what is described on the menu on the plate? Ordered the ribeye and rather than steak fries, received less than re-constituted instant mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetably medley. Mushroom soup was out of this world as usual, just wish the kitched could parlay that excellence into the rest of the menu.

Good bottled beer selection. Many drafts as well, but not the best choices. The food was just ok hence the 3 stars. The menu describes complex tasteful selections, but the delivered food is brand and not cooked with skill. Service was friendly, but often unavailable. Might have been short staffed.

Food and service were excellent. Live about 40 min away and was well worth the drive. My wife and I enjoyed everything we had. We decided to do the salmon and fillet and split our plates. Worked out great. Spinach crab dip was mouth watering. Should have brought some home.

Sure, at one time it was okay to be the bar of beer snobs; however the competition upped the ante and TDR dropped the ball. The staff is insufferable, and the food/beer selection doesnt warrant the attitude. Go to Station Taproom, Rons...youll be happier you did.

We drove over 8 hours and finding this place late was the best. The host was from our hometown and she was amazing. So friendly and the service was great as well. We enjoyed the food and the peanut butter Cheesecake was delicious. I miss it all ready.

We were one of four customers and the two gals working at the bar were too busy talking to an off duty coworker to wait on us. Wont be back. Plenty of places now in Exton with big beer menus and much better service.

Their calamari was way to salty, and while the service was prompt nothing else was good about this resturant. The paint is chipping and it just looks old and untreated. I would not suggest that anyone goes here.
