Oh Victory, why did you have to mess with a good thing? Victory used to be my go-to place, whether for date night with my husband, a night out with friends, or for a quick family dinner. Victory was a trifecta, the food, beer, and atmosphere were always winners. All of that changed when Victory hired a new chef and changed the menu. Gone are not only my favorite dishes (in particular the queso fundido), but also the quality of the food. The burgers are now terrible, particularly the kids burgers. They used to mimic the smash burgers offered on Tuesday nights, now they are tiny fake grilled patties that dont even fill out the bun. And the new bun is awful, please bring back the potato rolls instead of the shiny thing that you are now using. The fries are atrocious now, theyre thicker in general and lacking everything good about them that used to make us order buckets of them. The price point for the food is no longer worth it, and although I had plans for a couple of nights of there in the next three weeks, we will look to go elsewhere. I wouldnt be surprised if others start to do the same as we heard the tables at the two adjacent tables also complaining about their food. The beer, as always, is fantastic, but I can get fantastic Victory beer at other area establishments with fantastic food as well. I recommend you do the same.

DONT GO FOR FOOD YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! My boyfriend and I were so excited to come here but it came out to be horrible!!!! I never write reviews but this place was the worst place that Ive ever been in a long time!!! Service was horrible!! Our order got messed, which I dont mind doing but the fact that we were not even acknowledged bothered me and then we waited at least 30 minutes for our correct meal to come out. I had to ask the bartender if we were able to order drinks he did not even come up to us and ask us if we needed anything. They didnt even apologize for the inconvenience and giving us the wrong meal. The food was OK but dont ever order food if you go there its not worth the money, its over priced for mediocre food! to! I will never return to this please ever again! And I will be telling people never to go to this place because it was the worst restaurant experience Ive ever had!!!!! I will tell you please dont go here if you want to horrible experience. If you would like to try different local beers I still wouldnt even give it a try. Iron hill is 10 times better than this place !!!! I will repeat stay away from this place !!!!!

Wife and I came in on a Monday, the place was about 50% full. Bar wasnt packed, nor was the dining room. Service was very slow. Waited and waited for drinks, food, and the check. As a place as a whole though, why would you bring out food AS it is done? Then you have people waiting for their food, while everyone else is eating! We ordered a hamburger, fries, and a salad. The fries and hamburger came out first. I ate the burger, and she ate the fries. By the time I was finished, the salad finally came out. What? If anything, shouldnt the salad come out first?! It takes no time! Also, fair warning to vegetarians.....there is VERY VERY limited selection on anything without meat. One portabella burger, and one or two salads. Thats it. Menu is very limited, but at least they have 20 beers on tap. Dining room is also very noisy. Its just a large drywalled box. While I wont be coming here again because its already in the hate-list of my wife, just be fair warned if you want a pleasant experience. If you dont really care about the wait, and limited food selection, then go for it (Heck, I had a hard time, and Im not a vegetarian!)

Think this is my first review, had to post this. Probably worst meal Ive had over $10. I had the shepherds pie, $15. The bowl and portions were tiny, and these are cheap ingredients, no lamb, just ground beef. It was like getting a cup of soup when you expected (and paid for) a bowl. The mashed potatoes tasted funny and was a very thin layer. They were dry and crunchy all the way through. At its deepest the dish was barely as deep as the spoon. The meat sauce part was more like sloppy joe with peas and carrots, and the whole thing was really salty. Id say chalk it up to being new, except for the price and portion size. I dont normally complain to the staff, and I didnt this time either because they were pretty busy, and only had three very young bar tenders who looked a little overwhelmed. Im disappointed too, because the Downingtown location has great food. Im only giving it 2 stars because the beer is good. The whole menu was weird, small like a lot of new places, but no platters with meat, veggie and starch. Only things like fish and chips, tacos, steak and fries, and a pork chop and salad.

Very good beer selection and the gastro pub menu is limited but varied enough to satisfy everyones taste buds. Very noisy and always crowded with the ambience of a unfurnished office building (which is exactly what it is) but once the beer arrives you forget about the surroundings and enjoy the taste. Horrible parking accommodations as it took us three round trips around the block to find the parking lot entrance (which is shared with the townhouse complex across the street. Food was somewhat bland and none of the tables had any condiments. The chubby hostess had a bit of an attitude when we asked for a table for only 2. She looked around and saw tables for 4 and 6 before saying "I guess I can seat you". Her attitude was offset by the great attitude of our server and my tip reflected our appreciation. Theres a take out counter at on of the entrances that has growlers, glasses and other items for sale.

Listen, people who complain about this place and the food may not have ever been to a brewpub before. First, the service is a little slow, oh well, drink your beer and enjoy it a little longer. Its $8 for a sandwich, that is cheap! The food is cheap and great for the money. You are at a brewpub not a five star restaurant. This place is one of my staples and perfect for families with kids. Kids can draw on the tables and it is loud enough that no one cares if your kid is crying, but still very much an adult atmosphere. The bar is long and a perfect place to enjoy a few beers and some good food. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys what good beer and brewpubs are all about.

Excellent beer. Great Food. Perfect for family dining. We were staying in the area from out of town, but stumbled upon the Victory Brewing Company via a search. Knowing of the Victory Brewery name by their fine craft beers, we thought it was worth a visit. The beer (as expected) was excellent. The food, was on par, very delicious; we had burgers, local mushrooms and a mussels platter. The staff was extremely friendly, the prices fair and the venue itself was very clean and had a new feel to it. If youre in the area give it a try. *Note to non-beer drinkers: they do serve mediocre wine, but no cocktails.*
