I wanted to like La Cucina, especially since Ive had friends who have recommended it. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst service experiences Ive ever had in a restaurant. My companion and I arrived for an early dinner and the front of house wasnt busy, but there was a party in the adjacent banquet room. The server sat us down and was quite frazzled and very unfriendly. She took our drink orders (two waters) - and 20 minutes later, we still hadnt gotten anything. She looked at our table as she passed to work the party, but didnt stop at our table when we tried to get her attention. The bus person stopped and apologized for the delay and short staffing - she managed to get our server to bring our waters and take our orders, which was again, another unfriendly encounter. Another 20 minutes goes by and theres no food, no appetizers, no further conversation from our server - only more apologies from the bus person. I have to give the busser credit - she was the only one who went out of her way to try to take care of the situation in the front of house. At that point, being only one of a handful of tables in the restaurant, we tipped the busser, canceled our order, and left.

Horrible service. It wasnt very busy and we had a reservation and it still took over 3 hours. Food was good, but portions were scimpy for the price and be careful oof the seafood, mine was bad. If you get a gentleman server be prepared to be thirsty for the 3 hours you are there because apparently setting tables for non-existant customers is more important. Our table of 6 had made several requests for refills but after 45 mins we went to the bar ourselves to get drinks. Also, after informing the server that my seafood was bad he said "oh, ok, do you want the rest wrapped up to go?"....what an idiot. We will never go there again.

Visiting from out of town. Decided to stop in. Excellent choice. Food was awesome. Plenty of food too. Colleen should get best NE waitress award. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

The owner and bartender/manager are probably 2 of the rudest people you could ever encounter - food and service has gone downhill in a big way
