My wife and I like good authentic food. Living in York county it is sometimes very hard to find good food from other cultures that isnt heavily westernized. That being said, this place is not a typical York county resteraunt. My wife and I have been here 4 or 5 times now and the food is always delicious. The owner is very friendly and seems to always be making improvements to the place. He told us during one of our dinners about how he met his wife who is also the cook and it was a beautiful story. This is not an upscale place with a dress code but, more of a relaxed environment with great food. It is always clean and the service is always prompt. Prices are fair and not overly priced (like other places in York) and reflect the good quality food. It would be a good place for a couples dinner out, meet up for friends, or even a family dinner out. They also do takeout so, if you find something you like on the menu you can always pick it up.

The food is delicious and comes quickly. I have enjoyed prompt and pleasant service for both dine in and carry out. The owners are very friendly. The prices are on par for Thai food. To be honest Ive had "Thai" from restaurants in other towns that my particular pallet preferred ever so slightly. That being said, I suspect a strong American persuasion on the flavor of those other establishments. I have been told by the first hand account of a friend of mine that the "Krua Thai Cafe" is very authentic. Let there be no mistake, the food is delicious and the serving sizes robust. I very much enjoy the Thai Iced coffee which I find to be priced very well and is a great treat on a hot day.

This is the type of business that deserves to thrive. A great product for a reasonable price. Tommy, one of the owners, waited on us. He was very friendly, gracious and fun to talk with. The restaurant is inside a century-old bank, vault still intact and prominently displayed. However, the renovations help it feel less like what it obviously was. The dining area was spotless. And the food was very delicious. We tried the pad Thai, panang curry and summer rolls, all of which were exceptional. But the piece de resistance has to be the tom kha gai. Highly recommended! We will definitely return.

I dont know if Id call this traditional Thai, but it wasnt terrible. The portions were decent and the server who Im going to assume was the owner was polite and hospitable. We were in, fed, and out within 45 minutes which was very pleasant. The food just lacked flavor, it was bland but not too bland. The calimari had no flavor unless you dunked it in the cilantro sauce and the drunken noodle was completely different from any other Thai restaurant Ive been to. Also, the plate was literally just noodles, a sprig of broccoli, a carrot or two, and a few slivers of chicken.

This place is just awesome. The staff is really friendly and the food is superb. I never had Thai before, so first time I got "hot basil fried rice" with chicken. Soooo good and a nice portion size. The owner suggested I try the "pad ka pow kai dow" next time so I did. It was ground chicken with carrot, broccoli, string beans and onion. It is supposed to have a fried egg too, but I passed on that as I dislike eggs. It was GREAT. Problem is, the basil rice and the pad ka pow kai dow are so good I havent yet tried anything else lol.

<3 Aroi mak mak! <3 For those of you that dont speak Thai this means DELICIOUS! I felt like I was back in Thailand. Ample portions (chicken satay w/ peanut sauce), Tom-Yum Shrimps soup, chicken Pad Thai & Panang Curry. We like it "PET PET!" = spicey ;-) Great family business with friendly staff. Well be back! Weve lived in the area for a long time, but today was our first time eating at the Krua Thai Cafe. I have to say, I was really impressed. I ordered the pork belly and the dumpling soup and it was fantastic. They were very friendly/accommodating as well. We will definitely be eating here again!

Nice place, in an old bank in downtown Dallastown. The night we were there we were the only people there. I hope business picks up for them and they can stay open. Its a good place to eat good Thai food.
