I love this place!!! The atmosphere was very warm and inviting, the food was absolutely delicious (and because my wife and I mainly eat a vegetarian/vegan diet, the vegetarian and vegan dishes we ordered were fantastic), the servers were friendly and pleasant to talk to and the head server/owner even sang several French songs while we were eating (one was a duet with another server who speaks French)!!! My wife and I just found this place on the Internet, chose to give it a try and had one of the best, unexpected food experiences of our lives. I would highly, highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food, ambience and a very cozy atmosphere to enjoy it in!!

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. This is a very lovely restaurant with peaceful decor and delicious food. The bademjan and soltani were delicious, especially when washed down with the generous amount of Persian Tea (And you can always ask for more sumac if you want more on your meal!). Additionally, the service was very good and prompt. Granted, it was a slower time of the day, but it was still a very enjoyable experience and its clear that the owners take a lot of pride in their business here. A very worthwhile visit and I would encourage it for anyone in the area or anyone looking for some authentic Persian food to remind them of moms old cooking. :)

The most friendly neighborhood Persian restaurant! It has unique family like atmosphere and authentic food, which we love. Owners and employees trying to maintain high standards of service and food quality while keeping prices very reasonable. Sitting off the beaten path and away from tourist crowds this restaurant is a true gem of our Towson. Strongly recommend for romantic dinner of family get together. Oh and bring your own vine, there is no "cork fee". I hate those so called "upscale" places where all the charm spoiled by high prices, mediocre food and arrogant staff. My best complements to Jason, Shary, Eliana and all the staff! Mark family.

Food was absolutely amazing. Everything was excellent even to the price. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the outdated decor. We visit a very updated persian restaurant in Atlanta a lot but it is double the price and slightly bigger portion. I am American but my wife is Persian, she always orders the steak and chicken dish for me (since I dont know what its called) and its absolutely amazing Will be visiting again most definitely! If you want to try something different in ethnic food try this place.

Excellent Persian food thats hidden away in a bizarre location. Its almost what makes this place so great as its in such an unassuming locale. But go inside and the small venue is ornately decorated and always packed. The service is great and they really know the menu, always willing to give great suggestions. The food is great. Ive had a variety of dishes here and never had a bad experience. Very unique palate of ingredients used but they work together well. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

As a Persian-American, This is the best Persian Food I have had in Baltimore possibly all of Maryland. Amazing service. Beautiful Dining Area. The Owner & staff are amazing people. I have never had a complaint except I wish they were open 24 Hours! Its behind the Gardiners Furniture Store so dont get frustrated if you do not see it on the main street of Joppa Road. It is There! The food is delicious and fresh. I eat there at least once a week if not more! My whole office loves it too!

This is one of the best kept secrets in Baltimore County. The food is excellent and the Jasmine Tea? Simply awesome. This place is nice, out of the way, location in an industrial park type area--but dont let that put you off. The people who run this place are very friendly and the food is outstanding. If you have never had Persian before dont worry, they will help you. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

I just popped in to see if they do take away coffee... Was next door at a birthday party... The proprietor stepped out after me. We chatted briefly, it was obvious that it wasnt a "take-away" kinda place -- but she offered to make me a cup anyway. Thanks. Great service. Its a little far from home, but its the sort of hidden place that I would visit again. Atmosphere looked great, food smelled wonderful.

Great service and a welcoming interior made the delicious food so much more enjoyable. We ordered a zucchini & garlic spread, Bulgarian cold salad, lamb kabob, and salmon with almonds. Everything was made to perfection. Lamb, especially, was extremely tender. The salmon, apparently due to some Persian secret recipe, remained moist while the sliced almonds added that extra note of nuttiness.

What a waste of time and money it was visiting this place. We just had chalo kabob; the rice was made with Uncle Bens and not Basmati. Persian rice is made with Basmati rice and has aroma and flavor. The kabob??!!, they need to learn how to make it. Go to another Persian restaurant in DC and learn how it tastes and how it is made. Major disappointment........

I was introduced to Orchard Market 25 years ago by a coworker! I love the Barg and never get anything but that! Jason and his family are wonderful and the food is always consistently good! Hope we all are around for another 25 years to enjoy the food and atmosphere! Thank you Jason!

Incredible! They have the best food and the portions are extremely generous. The toasted almond salmon is my favorite so far, but there is nothing I have had yet that I didnt love. A peaceful and relaxing environment with a friendly work staff.

I had dinner here with a friend. The food was alright, you can tell they warmed the rice and soup up in the microwave. According to our waitress the bathroom was under renovations and the water was off...I will not be returning.

I got the duck (forgot the second word, but it was the "official dish" of Iran. It was extraordinarily delicious. I highly recommend it. Also, the server was very polite and helpful. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

My daughter loved the experience and the cuisine! She barely eats anything, but had no problems gobbling up their delicious treats. The barg, kabob, and other dishes were plentiful and the rice was just right!

Located behind a furniture store, it is not at all what you would expect. I have eaten in many Persian restaurants, and this is among the best. Sunday brunch is outstanding. BYOB

Tasty and affordable. At lunch yesterday, I had the kashan pita and my wife had the mango pear salad. We were both pleased with our choices.
