Locals go here for food and drinks. We (my wife & I) live a few miles away, and, we go here a fair amount. Go when you are hungry. This is old style food, with local ingredients and a Lancaster County type menu. Great fries, tips; the turkey is normally a good place to start. During supper, the place is crowded. Most all tables taken. But the girls will take care of you; get you a table, get you fed. Trust me, they know what they are doing. The same staff has been here for ages. Casual- jeans, flannel shirts, Phillies ball-caps. Check out the chalkboard for the dinner/drink specials. When we want to go out and just settle down without any hassles, this place takes us back to a simpler, better time. The bare 60w light bulb, hanging in the dining area, sets the tone. If you are nice, they will be nice to you. Id say 99% of the patrons are repeat customers. Local firemen, cops, store owners, farmers.

I ran into a huge spiderweb in the foyer, and there were at least 3 large spiders crawling around the inside of the building. The whole outside of the building is covered in spiderwebs. Im looking for health inspector number to call to report them. Aside from that, the food was disgusting and slopped together. Their premade fried foods are around $10 and the rest of the menu items are in the $20-$30 range, which is the same price point as restaurants that are actually nice and serve reasonable quality food. If you blindly pick any restaurant within driving distance of this place, it will be a better choice. Creekside is a dive bar - lots of pickup trucks and motorcycles in the parking lot - probably a good place to eat after a trip to Walmart.

Goatbreeder has no clue what she or he is talking about. The food is awesome and so are the people that work there. So you saw three spiders....Did you see ants or roaches? Plus there were pickup trucks and motorcycles in the lot.. are you seroius? I think you have spent to much time with your goats.

Great spot - check out the specials - you will not be disappointed. Good quality meats and fresh vegetables. They also have fried bar fare as well. Definitely a great spot to stop out on your bike after cruising the back roads. They have a pool table too and the staff will take good care of you.

Good food. Best Prime Rib Ive had in awhile. Crab cake was all meat. Nice weekly specials. Waitress and barmaid friendly. Quiet country setting. You can watch the creek from the front windows.
