The restaurant prior to Oishi was Wild Rice. Oh, how I miss Wild Rice. Oishi has a limited sushi/sashimi menu compared to Wild Rice. The offerings are not as good. Ive been here 3 times and ordered the sashimi plate the first time, the Four Season Maki the second time and the Pink Lady Maki the third time. The sashimi plate was okay, but the Four Seasons Maki was very small ($12) and the rice was obviously not fresh. It had crystallized a bit which means that it had been refrigerated. The Pink Lady was by far the best. It was loaded with 3 types of fish and wrapped in a pink soy wrapper. One last thing; dont order any soft drinks such as diet coke - no free refills at $1.75 a glasss...ouch.

We came in probably around 15 minutes before closing, and were exhausted after a long day at a theme park. The staff were super polite and friendly, and we got our food super quick even though it was near the end of the night. The menu has an awesome mix of traditional and unique dishes - I got the Vegetarian Lover roll (asparagus, seaweed, mango, cucumber, avocado wrapped in soy paper) - it was probably the tastiest veggie roll Ive ever had. My husband got a sashimi plate, and the kids got a mix of things including a sushi pizza and an udon noodle soup, plus green tea mochi for dessert. We appreciate the great service and delicious food at such a late hour :)

terrible experience, my wife and I love sushi and eat it at least twice a week, so we gave them a try. called in a pickup order, when I got home I noticed they had forgotten my ginger, not a big deal but strike one after eating two or three bites of my spicy tuna roll I kept pulling scales out of my mouth! it got to be gross, so I got in the car and drove back, they told me all tuna is going to have scales in it...maybe im the luckiest guy ever, but never have I had to pull scales out of my mouth while eating sushi! I told them it gross and the chef did not care at all. this place is a mile from my house but I will never eat there again.

The food was bland for the price. Ordered chicken teriyaki and a yellowtail sushi maki for $13 and $5, respectively. The chicken teriyaki serving was about twice as large as youd expect for a single person meal, but the sauce was plain and the chicken too tough and chewy. Had no issues with the sushi. The service was good. Refills and food both came quickly.

Really enjoyed the sushi and appetizers. We havent tried the hibachi yet but from what we saw it looked tempting. We will go back for hibachi soon. Good atmosphere and design. Cute place and nice staff.

Good Hibachi, whole family enjoyed it. BYOB only. $100 for 4 people for dinner was OK, the meat and seafood were quality and the preparation was outstanding.
