Its beyond me why this place isnt more crowded than it is. We went in here for the first time last weekend. What a hidden gem this place is! The restaurant is clean and open with plenty of room to move around. The staff is extremely friendly, and the service is top notch. To top it off, this is arguably the best Mexican food Ive had in Salem since we moved here. All of the food tastes homemade and the menu offers plenty of selections. If youre looking for good Mexican food in Salem, I highly implore you to try this place. As I said earlier, this is probably the best Mexican restaurant in Salem! My wife and kids all share my sentiments as well.

Service was very, very slow. They werent good about checking on us. Water was empty, out of chips and salsa. Took forever to actually get our dinner. The food was really good which saved this review from a 2-star or less. It has been years since we ate here and I think the ownership has changed because the service was never this poor.

The only Mexican food place in Oregon that has gotten it right so far. Im from the Southwest and consider myself a Mexican food snob. I cant enjoy anything really other than Sonoran Mexican food. But this place does it right. Very good. Also check out the tamale hut at the chevron gas station delicious tamales.

The service is excellent and although the selection choice is limited everything was well prepared. Beautiful restaurant and a wonderful -- full bar. A group of 7 of us went and we tried multiple items -- all were great. Parking is a pain which is a draw back -- there really isnt a good time to try

Took the family the other night for the very first time. It was WONDERFUL! Some of the best Mexican food Ive had. Kids loved it, and the price was very reasonable and quantity of food was great. We are a family of 6 and ate dinner for $40!!! We give this one tow thumbs way, way up!

We stopped in the other day and had some burgers. I ordered the Big Bacon Cheeseburger for $8.25. I ordered mine with everything. It was really good, one of the best burgers Ive had in a long time. This is a really big burger, plenty of burger for even the largest appetite.

Good food, friendly staff. But for lunch on a Saturday there was only 1 waitress. She did a great job, but service was a little slower than you would hope for. I would have given it a 4.5 star if I could because of the atmosphere, food, and friendly attitude of the staff.

Some of the best Mexican food Ive had outside Mexico. The wait staff could not possibly be any nicer. They bent over backwards for us, and had a laugh and made our coworkers birthday one to remember. Check this place out, take a date.
