HI

I had the pleasure of having a lamb curry wrap during my vacation to Portland from the Taste of India food truck on 5th and Alder. IT WAS THE BEST INDIAN CUISINE IVE EVER HAD. Everything was freshly made in front of me. The curry was delicious and varied perfectly in spice. The lamb was so tender and cooked to perfection. All wrapped up in a Nan wrap, making a HUGE portioned meal. Had to share to finish. Really rad experience in the city and my favorite part of my trip. 5/5, 10/10, 100% A+

It was just ok. I got the lunch special. The garbanzo beans were a bit hard for my taste and the entire dish was sort of bland. I was surprised, since there are so many review s calling it excellent. Like another person said, it definitely wasnt anything to write home about. Ill return, if only to see if it was an off day. I did go there right as it opened.

This is one of the few food carts that take Mastercard and Visa which is nice if you dont tend to carry cash on ya. The only downside is that they add a little bit to price to use it.Otherwise they make some good curry, and they make it pretty fast. The married couple that manages this place is also really friendly.

I love this place! For $6 I can get a huge to-go box of tarka dahl or the veggie combo, with rice and naan. One time I didnt have enough cash to pay, and the owner smiled and said I would just pay next time.

Do you want food served by people that screw up your order and yell at you about it? Gofer it. Otherwise, be prepared to be abused by folks that will even follow you down the street yelling at you.

The quality of the food is not always what it could be, but it is often enough that I rarely go to any other cart. The vegetarian lunch special is a wonderful, wonderful thing

Excellent quality food in this local gem. Attentive service, yet a bit rushed. Ordered shrimp korma and chicken tikka masala, both fantastic.

I had the $6 vegetable lunch special, and it was great. The cauliflower dish was my favorite. Comes with naan

Good, fast, cheap food, and a lot of it. It is a food cart, but a good one.
