I called to make a to-go order, last night. I was told depending on what I wanted it could be 30 minutes to 2 hours because they were so packed. I told them I wanted a chicken pad thai and a pork pad thai. She said that if I got two chicken pad thais I would be alright. So I changed my order to two chicken pad thais medium spicy. We got there and it was completely dead. We got our food and took it home. It was cooked very well, however, it was definitely spicier than medium. I have literal blisters in my mouth and on my lips. I have NEVER had that happen before. There were only about 4 pieces of chicken per box, too. We were given very generous portions. So generous that we could feed 3-4 people on one order. I tried a few bites, today, to see if I was just being a weeny. The pad thai holds up extremely well to next day consumption but the spice is just too much and I adore heat. I would definitely eat here again. I would order slightly spicy. I would probably only get one order, too. I will adjust my rating if the next order does not give me blisters and I am able to order what I want. --- I took one star off because it was not medium spicy and one star off because they were not busy and didnt want to cook what I wanted. The person ringing me up said they were slow.

Sweet Home Thai is a locally owned and operated restaurant. You are greeted by the owner when you walk in (her husband is the chef). She is the most kind, gracious woman Ive ever encountered in the food industry. The customer service is top notch!! They take so much pride in their authentic Thai cusine and the restaurant is always clean with a beautiful ambiance. And the food is AMAZING!! So full of rich Thai flavors! Before Sweet Home came to Keizer, I had to travel to Portland for great, authentic Thai food. Not anymore!!! We do a lot of take out orders and theyve never once messed up an order (unlike every other restaurant weve been to). Everything is perfect, just the way we ordered it! They are also very accommodating to vegans and vegetarians. If you havent tried Sweet Home, youre missing out! Hands down favorite restaurant in Salem/Keizer area (and we are PICKY!!) :) My only complaint was that I could never find the menu online, so when ordering from home I had to order from memory. However I remembered to pick up a to-go menu on our last visit. **I have uploaded the full menu photos to their Facebook page in the comments if you want it :)

Awful experience! Went here last night and everything my husband was interested in trying had oyster sauce (he is allergic to shellfish) the lady working literally stated to pick something else! I asked if he could have the order he liked but request a different sauce and she said NO! just flat out NO?!?! I have never been so angry in my life. We ended up paying $28.99 for 2 waters, 1 tea, and appetizers we had ordered prior to knowing how awful the service was. Sadly my husband like the cold spring rolls here but due to this we will never eat at this place again. Who doesnt make exceptions for people with allergies? I will make certain to tell everyone to not eat at this location. Also I called both of the other Thai places in town and either was happy to substitute due to allergies.

Based on reviews, our 2 families (9 people) decided to visit Sweet Home Thai cuisine, we are from out of town. Upon entering, we were told that we had to have reservations for more than 4 people (even for just our family of 5). After seating us at 2 separate tables, the hostess kept saying that we needed reservations (we drove 3 hours, didnt realize it was a VERY small establishment). We were at the point of getting up to leave after being reprimanded many times for NOT having reservations and overwhelming the kitchen. We were not in a hurry, we were not demanding, we asked them if theyd rather us just leave the answer was "No, I already got your water". :-/ However, the food was absolutely delicious and almost worth the scolding we received......almost.

I have eaten at Sweet Home Thai Cuisine several times and love the authentic food they prepare. Every dish was delicious and they let you know when spiciness is integral to a dish or it can be made non-spicy. Personally, I like it hot and spicy but not all of my dinner companions are similarly inclined. The service is not just good, it is attentive and my preferences are remembered even weeks or months later. I appreciate that the owners are from Thailand and have recreated the atmosphere of that delightful country here in Kaiser. Finally, their prices are reasonable and the portions generous. It can be easy to miss the restaurant when driving but once you try it you will want to return again and again.

The owners of this restaurant are incredibly kind and Ive always experienced great customer service. The newly remodeled space creates a really nice and authentic atmosphere and their take-out service is also great. Ive enjoyed their pad thai and fresh rolls as well as the wide rice noodle dishes and everything has been delicious. Best Thai food in town. I always feel welcomed when I visit!

Excellent curry! Love the massaman curry with a medium spice, gives a good mix of sweet and spice. New owners started back in January I believe and renamed it to Sweet Home Thai Cuisine, They are very nice and give great service. The previous renters of the building left the carpet in bad shape so atmosphere is medium, but the curry is worth it. Take out is also available.

Although I am glad to say I do not live in Keizer anymore this was my go-to place for Thai food. The owner is very nice and the food is consistently good. The only complaint I have is the pad thai could be better other than that most dishes I tried are great expecially the different fried rices. Salad rolls were always fresh. And my girlfriend really liked the soups.

A wonderful experience. The interior has an amazing and authentic feel. The food is delicious and well presented. The hostess is sweet and very knowledge about the menu. She gave me the best description for the difference between green and red curry. I will be frequenting this establishment in the future. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I have been to Thailand a few times. This unassuming exterior houses a taste of real Thai food and culture. The art pieces, the music, the serene and sincere kindness of our waitress. The mood is wonderful. The food.... as good as anything in Thailand itself, you may get food as good but not at these prices! A joyful find! Thx

Amazing food, excellent service, beautiful interior! Exterior of building can be off-putting, but once inside that is completely forgotten. The fresh (spring) salad rolls with peanut sauce are worth a visit on their own! The hot tea is mixed by the owner and is delicious. I just wish they were open for lunch!

Excellent food. Some of the most delicious spring rolls weve ever had. New owners and completely remodeled. Relaxing ambience. Artistic presentation of food. Reasonable prices. Extremely courteous service. My husband and I were delighted, and will be visiting again next time were in town.
