Got the vegetables yakisoba noodle, it had way to much sauce. Didnt have very much veggies as I was expecting. Ended up just picking out the veggies and only eating those. The prices that were posted on line with their menu was also incorrect , was more then expected. Felt like it was way more expensive then what it was worth. Husband had the mami soup, had only a couple pieces of chicken. The noodles didnt have any flavor, however the broth base was good, just needed the other components to take on the flavor to. We did also try a pork skewer, and that was really good. Lastly, the gal taking our order wasnt to friendly. Wouldnt go back.

This may be my favorite place to eat in Salem! Get the big island plate to try a little of everything or order the loco moco if you are craving some island comfort. So much flavor!! Tonight I learned about ube ice cream, and developed a new obsession. The chef brought out a plate of spam masubi to another table near us, and we are already planning our next visit so we can eat that too!! On top of the great food, the people there could not be nicer, and the atmosphere is great. Why havent you gone yet?

8-9 dollars plus 20% for over glorified Top Ramen noodles. When you ask for Chicken and veggies on Pansit noodles, this is what you get. But if you take your food back they will help you find the tiny pieces of chicken they added. Hard to believe that this is one of the most popular dishes as the guy at the counter said. Not sure who was working on the night of 3/10/17. But if a customer takes the time to bring their food back obviously there is a problem. And the problem is the food.

Oh my... I got there Big island plate today and I basically inhaled it. It comes with BBQ chicken, BBQ pork skewers, lumpia, pancit and rice. The food smelled, looked and taste amazing! The pancit could use a little bit more seasoning but all and all it was great! Definitely could feed two people, but I was starving and almost ate it all. It will be hard to try something different next time, but will be sure to come back for some more great food.

Got the katsu loco moco and was really disappointed. The gravy was lack luster and the egg was cooked all the way through. Whole point of the egg is to have it runny and have the yolk mix with the gravy which there wasnt much in the first place. The musubi as well had little impact. Just a spam on top of rice wrapped in seaweed. Nothing special about it. Overall nice atmosphere but the food had little impact on my taste buds.

I ordered for a pick up 35 minutes in advance a few weeks ago after arriving to pick up my order I wait an additional 30 minutes. I then called today at 1140 and placed an order for pick up today it is now 1230 and my food is still not ready. Very unprofessional to tell me my order would be ready 20 minutes after I had called and here we are almost an hour later and I still dont have food.

These amazing people!!!!! They are working with a BROKEN AIR CONDITIONING UNIT! In RECORD BREAKING HIGH TEMPERATURES!!!! I feel guilty ordering from them and having them cook in these heat I just love their energy! This is my first time here and based on what I am seeing I will be back! Most places would have shut down for the day but not here! I cannot wait to try the food!!!!

The food here is really outstanding! The have a good variety of dishes and an excellent combo plate called the Big Island Plate that Id really recommend! If youre not sure what you want, the staff tends to be very helpful and knowledgeable about the food. Ive met the owner and he is very passionate about his food and making sure his customers have a great experience here.

Ordered several items to go in order to try the menu out. Got a few small bites: pork skewers, egg rolls, rice, etc. And their pork adobo. Boyfriend complained that the pork adobo was flavorless. And the rest of the food wasnt spectacular.

I love the food! The pancit and BBQ chicken reminds me of my Lolas cooking. My husband and I drive across town a few times a week because I crave it so much. Im so happy theres a Filipino restaurant in town that reminds me of home.

Try the Big Island Plate for a good (and large) sampling of items. Pork skewers and chicken are awesome. Only negatives are the parking lot is quite full at times and the tables/floor should be cleaned more often.

Authentic Filipino food prepared and cooked by a Filipino chef. The price is hard to beat for the amount of serving you get..... plus.....it taste realllllyyyyyy good! Service is excellent too. Keep it up Chris!

It should just be listed as Hawaiian style food. While there is some Filipino influence so is there Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, and more that should be mentioned. To Say Hawaiian and Filipino is inaccurate.

Fast and friendly service. Clean location, nice decor inside with clean bathrooms. I had the Big Island plate which comes 5 portions of different yummy recipes! Tasty food and a huge portion for the price.

I think maybe I went there for the wrong type of food....loco moco was disappointing and mac salad was just like from the grocery store. Guess Ill have to save my cravings for when Im in Portland. Bummer.

Feels like home! There are no authentic Pacific Islander restaurants out there that come close to this one. The food is almost as good as my own mothers filipino cooking which is saying a lot!
