We arrived at 11:15 a.m. , the restaurant didnt open until 11:30, so we patiently waited in our vehicle until 11:30 a.m. At 11:30 we proceeded to the door, unfortunately it was still locked. There was another person awaiting entry as well, and it turns out she was the waitress. She was surprised to find out that the restaurant was locked and empty as well. After about 10 minutes a gentleman inside unlocked the doors. He didnt welcome us inside or apologize for his tardiness. Once we stepped inside, you felt as though you stepped back into the 70s. The upholstery, carpets and fixtures dont look like theyve been updated at all. Being a wheelchair user, I am in need of a table as opposed to a booth. The dining area has 0 tables, the banquet area may have tables, but it was closed off. The restaurant has a seat yourself sign, so my wife and I had to take the family booth that has a wide open end in order for me to be able to sit up to the table. The gentleman that opened the doors brought us water but neglected menus. So we went in search of menus, and found a couple. When the waitress came to our table she asked if wed like lunch menus instead of dinner menus, we accepted. The waitress was very kind and friendly, so at least that was pleasant. My wife ordered the Wed lunch special (subgum chicken, bbq spare ribs and pork fried rice with choice of soup) while I ordered a lunch combination ( sweet and sour pork, pork fried rice and choice of entrée with choice of soup ) with Kung Pao chicken, and we ordered a side of fried shrimp. All of the food was really tasty andthe portion sizes were generous. The shrimp and bbq pork tempura was crisp and light, although applied generously. The Kung Pao was fresh and with just a hint of spice ( I love spicy ). The fried rice was flavorful and fresh. While I didnt try the subgum, my wife said she really enjoyed it. If this restaurant updated its atmosphere and upholstery and had a more friendly and personable management staff ( possibly the owners ) I think it would fall into the 4-5 star range quite easily. For what its worth, weve at least decided that take out would be worthwhile, but until some things change we wont be returning to dine in.

Clean, friendly staff, decent food. My parents ordered something off the senior meal (they got short ribs and shrimp with chow mein) and seemed pleased with the size portion and taste. My husband ordered General Tao (not to be confused with General Tsos), hoping it would be similar. It had some spice but I was very surprised that it wasnt spicier. I ordered orange chicken. My husbands and my food was good but not wonderful. Could have had a crisper breading and more flavor to the sauce. We also ordered the crab puffs as an appetizer and those were tasty as well as a good serving size (10 pieces). I was disappointed that they didnt give us tea with our meal (this was my first time not getting tea with a meal at a Chinese restaurant.) My husband and I also had to split one bowl of rice for both of our chicken dishes (which might have been enough if it was just the two of us but my parents also enjoyed it too which made it not enough for 4 people). We were pleased with the serving sizes and the prices (just under $10 for most if not all dishes and my parents were excited to be able to order off the senior menu). Overall: good prices, clean place, quiet atmosphere, decent food (which could use some touching up in the flavor department).

I have yet to find great Chinese around the beaverton area. My old watering hole was HOUSE of KEE in puyallup,wa and honestly nothing will beat it. This place comes very close. I got a combo at $8.75 substituted subgum chow mein with standard chicken chow mein and got pan fried noodles along with s&s chicken instead of pork and it came to 10.50$ I also had 3plate fulls when I got home with more to eat next day. With regards to the chow mein not bad not the best but for sure not the worst I just wish the pan fried noodles were stirred into the chow mein (they box it seperate.) And the fried rice was not bad. I HIGHLY recommend getting a side of the garlic chilli sauce as it goes GREAT with the shrimp or rice. price was great for portions and the speed in which I got my meal was outstanding. 4* 5 if the food was cooked with love.

My parents had been going here for 30 years, the décor has never changed. Last night my father ordered from the American menu as he always does. The "salad" consisted of one piece of iceberg lettuce, no dressing. The meal is listed with salad, choice of dressing, and toast or roll. When he asked about the toast he was told it did not come with the meal. He wanted toast anyway, and was charged two dollars for two pieces of white bread toast. The rest of us had combo meals, rather bland and slimy chow mein with very few vegetables-the pork has been a mystery meat as far back as I can remember. We will NEVER go again. The place is NOT CLEAN. Chinese food has come a long way in the last 30 years, but if you like it old school with a scary waitress to boot, then go for it.

Food is good, hubby and I like the lounge too. Tommy is great, he makes a mean long island iced tea! My husband and I have been coming here for years, though that has recently come to end. On our last couple of visits we were "helped" by a very unfriendly waitress. Apparently the owner is out of town and this person has decided that they can treat long term patrons however they want. I wont be disrespected when Im paying good money on a night out or a casual lunch with my daughter. Sorry Kippie, it seems that youve lost long term customers for the entire establishment. Your attitude kills the fun vibe of a celebratory dinner or a night out with hubby. Congrats on 25 years of service.

My husband and I love this place! We often get take-out here. We can order one combo meal and it is more then enough for us both they give you so much food. The food is always really good! The BBQ pork is moist, the subgum chicken is tasty, the sweet and sour chicken is awesome (for take-out I always order the sauce on the side so it doesnt get soggy) and fried rice is good too. All the people I have encountered there when dining in or picking it up are awesome! I cannot recommend this place enough.

Take out portions were good. Food was average for the main dishes. Perhaps a bit generic / Americanized, but thats not really a surprise.(My daughter thought the Orange chicken was pretty good but I thought it was too orangy so I put some of the tasty red spicy sauce that came with it and that made it better). My son liked the Hawaiian beef. Sauces were good, Hot N sour soup was really good, Pot stickers were good, Egg Rolls were very good.

Currently here. Been waiting a half hour so far for our food. The appetizers came out fairly quick and it was tasty. However, I had to ask for silverware and napkins, had to set our places, and had to ask for drink refills. Service is carp. When I asked what time they closed earlier they said 9:30 or ten. If the sign says ten then they should be open until ten, customers or not.
