Absolutely terrible service from start to finish, all dealing with an elderly woman. Didnt give me her name, but she was of Asian descent. The moment I called, she kept repeating to confirm my order even though I had already spoke it aloud three times. Tried to quickly hang up and I asked her what the price on it was. She told me she was busy in the kitchen and that explained her poor listening. She said she would check, hung up on me and never called back. I went there personally to check on the food and there she finally gave me the price. About $19, whatever. The menu I had showed the prices as ~$9 for beef and broccoli, ~$6 for the pork fried rice. 9+6 doesnt quite add up to 19, but whatever, my folks recommended this place, so I was willing to try it anyway, against my better judgment. Beef and broccoli was in sauce that was already bland and tasted bad to begin with. That and the pork fried rice got me sick. Pork fried rice had something awful in it that gave it the taste of horrid toothpaste or something. I cant even pinpoint where it went wrong. Both the taste and the effect on me was awful. Spent over an hour and a half in the bathroom, passed the food until I finally left and my sister asked why I was sick. Told her, she tried the pork fried rice since she recommended the restaurant. She said it was definitely not good and to take it back. I bring the food with me just to show Im not trying to con her and she absolutely refuses to listen to reason. Continues to stare me down, picks up call after call after call after call with me trying to explain to her the food had gotten me sick and she simply doesnt take it serious. Continues claiming that Im "one of the only ones sick" so it cant be the food. I tell her its the food, she tells me right back it isnt. I tell her I can bring the food right back in for her to try it and she keeps telling me how "fresh" and how "well prepared" it is and that I had to have "eaten ice cream" or something. Continue telling her that my family has ordered from them and they said themselves the food didnt taste good, she continued to ignore it and simply tell me it wasnt her food. Its always fresh. 40 years of service, they cant possibly make a mistake, right???? All over $20. Of course. Terrible service, continued to take phone calls and interrupt me, refused to listen at all and had absolutely no intention of providing proper service from the start. I wouldnt recommend this to anyone. Absolute worst Chinese food Ive ever had in my life and the worst service I have gotten from any restaurant to date. I have absolutely no idea how theyre operating still with this kind of ignorant service to their customers. I cant speak for the bar because I didnt go there, but the food service was horrible. Take your business elsewhere. You could surely get better customer service from a bill collector calling from overseas.

This is one of few places open on Christmas day. Weve gone here for the last 3 years for Christmas with friends. The food seems to get worse every year. The food style, menu and presentation are old, outdated and tired 1970s vintage food. If youre looking for Chinese food with fresh vegetables, a snap of flavors, youll be disappointed with this place. Food drown in heavy uninspired sauces (sweet & sour sauce is almost clear and tastes like simple syrup) and dinner entrees served with no rice or other sides...at a Chinese restaurant, really? Safe to say well be starting a new Christmas tradition by dinning elsewhere. The service is barley passable in the restaurant. The bar has some pretty decent bar room pool tables and good service in the bar area, the one redeeming quality of this place. My recommendation is to keep the bar staff, retrain the wait staff, fire the cooks and get a new, fresh updated menu.

Id give it less if I could. I ordered a beef broccoli plate with pork fried rice and it tasted like a chemical was spilt in it or either it had been left out for days. When I went to go back and ask for either my money back or a new plate, they said it was fine and it was supposed to taste like that, without even taking the plate from my hand to check. Rediculous!

Rice dishes are good, meat has a tendency to be too drie and tough and the service can be better with more wait staff and daily entertainment, no-one is at the bar during early afternoon/evening business hours... The prices are too high for the quality of the food and the atmosphere, you would think it was an upscale Chinese Restaurant.

This is in response to travis windon, WHY THE F ARE YOU COMPLAINING THAT THEY ARE OPEN AND SERVING FOOD IF THEY ARE OPEN ON CHRISTMAS DAY, like seriously, im glad they are there, i enjoy it every time I go, its a miracle they are open on Christmas and to anyone that complains about it, they legitimately suck

The bartenders and service are top notch. Great discounts on weeknights, especially pizza. Large space for big groups or you can find a quiet spot on weeknights. Chinese food is not the best, but I come for everything else I mentioned.
