Busy little place with an active take out window and a few tables. Its atmosphere doesnt keep pace with the food. Cheery little gal taking orders, very efficient with the cooks to move the food out the window while still hot and customers still happy. Its close to HWY 26 North bound exit in North Plains. Situated on the east side of the street.its pretty easy in and out of this building that may have at one time been a dairy queen or a gasoline station... not being local, I dont know. I felt the language gap here was bridged by the young womans willingness to listen and be attentive to your wants. She seemed to practice patience in a hurry, not something a lot of people manage. I hope they pay her the value she gives the place. Recommend the service. The food was so authentic Ill have to go back to really have a great opinion on the food. My GF needs seemed to be an easy match for this young gal... wish Id gotten her name. My hubby loved his food which was a generous portion. Lots of drink choices. So many I didnt choose one. Water was no problem. Lots of people came and went with their call in orders while we waited our short time for the food. That was good because I was hungry.

OMG - finally Mexico food that is great! Quality is awesome, variety of menu - worth the drive!! OK, when I first moved to Portland from the Bay Area, I asked people where to find great mexican food. That lead to a serious doubt that anyone in the Portland area had ever had great mexican food! It was awful! I have since found some quality options in Woodburn, but yesterday I stopped into King Torta in North Plains, after a round of golf at Pumpkin Ridge. I cautiously ordered a Carnitas burrito, and BAM, it was the bomb - the real deal - and it was huge!! The rest of the menu looks equally awesome and Im looking forward to going again. I live in Tualatin so its a 40 min drive with no traffic, but Im telling you - its worth it. Let me know what you think!

We both had burritos and were very pleased. The fajita burrito was a nice combination of vegetables, chicken, rice, and beans. They could have been more evenly spaced in the wrapping, but the flavors of each was very good. The relleno was a good burrito, could use more spice. Both were served very hot, this would be great if you were to take it to go on a cold day like today. Service was quick and polite. We would go again.

Ive only been eating here for almost 15 years. You want the hottest (as in freshness), best tasting Mexican food around. I highly recommend King Torta. Portions are enough to leave satisfied, or even over full. Delicious to the last bite. And NOT expensive like most other places that are not as good. And if you know what you want, you can phone in youre order in advance. Awesome place. Very nice people. Well worth it.

Some of the best food in the area, Just a little hole in the wall but I stop there regularly. Get a burrito and bring it back to my wife and we slit on for lunch, they are that big. Lunch frequented by local trade workers. Good food and lots of it at a very reasonable price. Not much on looks, but worth trying as they have a good selection from which to choose.

Ate there twice this week of July 23 thru 28 2017 had two soft beef tacos one time and examples one pork one chicken both where tasteless bland and the tomatoes where dry as heck almost uneatable the green sauce also bland and where is any heat I know its mild but nothing I recommend subway or Mickey ds even them are better and the place was a dump and nasty.

The best Mexican food comes from food trucks in Los Angeles. This is the closest thing weve found in Portland. They have a large variety of meats available. I enjoy their huge burritos for about $6.50. I usually order horchata, chips & salsa. The staff is really nice.

Easily the best $5 lunch in the area... two well filled soft corn tortilla tacos with carne asada, pork carnitas or chicken, rice and beans and a drink. Can not be beat! Clean and friendly family run establishment. Dont be shy, stop in for lunch today!

Chicken torta with chile verde - GET OUT HERE AND PUT ONE OF THESE IN YOUR MOUTH!!! This place is the legit hole-the-wall Mexican joint I was looking for, here in Portland at least. Im anxious to keep exploring the menu.

The place really looks like a dive, but it is the best mexican food ever. Service is fast, portions are generous and food is so delicious. It is difficult to not go there more than twice a week!

One of the best Mexican food places in Portland. Atmosphere is not that great, but the food is great! We always stop by for food to go, conveniently located off hwy 26 at North plains.

I went there for the first time today and had some hard tacos. They were excellent and cheap. Its clean and doesnt get nearly as much business as the quality of the operation deserves.

Great food, best prices for Mexican food in Washington County and the staff is always friendly. If you rate this place low you need to have your head examined.

Great food as always, travel 50 miles for a fish taco. Have tried fish taco in various parts of the world and King Tortas are still the best!
