I have ordered from this place before. The food was good, nothing special and best of all for my budget cheap. When I forgot mine and my co-workers lunch (that I had prepared the night before) at home I needed a delivery place that would come through. I called at 9 am and someone (I think the manager) answered and told me that yes they could deliver to me, I was within their delivery range. It was snowing so I wanted to make sure the very slight adverse conditions wouldnt cause a problem. I was assured there would not be any problems. I called back at 10 am to place my order. (knowing that I didnt need it until 12 or 1230 when my lunch period is I figured I would leave them plenty of time) I placed the order just fine, received the total and was charged with no problem. 20 minutes later an employee from there (he was a new hire and actually pretty friendly) and told me that they WOULDN"T be able to deliver because they didnt have enough drivers and no-one wanted to drive in the snow. Keep in mind there is NO sitting snow on the roads today. It is ALL on the sidewalks When I asked to speak with the manager I was told they were on another call but that they would certainly call me back when they were finished. 15 or 20 minutes pass and I get no call. So, I call back, am given the owners cell phone number which I call. I am pretty much told nothing we can do, oops sorry even though they processed a refund for me that money will not be available for me for up to 3-4 days while it was processed. The icing on the cake...the owner is the one who answered my call this morning. There was no offer of a free app on my next order or anything. Sorry about your luck was pretty much the sentiment. Neither I nor my husband will EVER order from this restaurang again.

The Rice Bowl Cafe left us a nice menu on our apartment door that advertised they deliver. A few day later my girlfriend and I decided to have a lazy night in. We ordered two 4-way combos, one with pepper steak and onion/kung pao chicken w/chicken lo mein and the other with orange chicken/beef with mixed veggies w/fried rice. Problem numero uno; we were quoted an hour to an hour fifteen, we called it in at 8:25pm and recieved our food at 10:25pm on the dot. We would have had no problems if that was the quoted time or the food was worth the wait. This leads to problem number two, the food; the kung pao chicken had only one piece of chicken in it and was accompanied by a very good sized handful of peanuts (if you order this request kung pao peanuts!), I love lo mein noodles but the taste can only be described as eating propane. The one good thing on my plate was the pepper steak and onion, I just wish that it had more. Next my girls dish, her orange chicken was a pile of goo, my best guess is that it was actually cooked a couple days ago. On the other hand her beef and veggies were good and the rice was ok but the best part of all is that we are going to have puppy treats for the next few days! I also cant forget to mention the delivery lady was very nice and apologized for the wait. Just for refrence our total came to 19$ and some odd change w/ two 4-way combos and a 2 liter of sierra mist.

I will say the Food is very good for a fast food place but the customer service sucked this last time and I wont be going back. We had a delivery, it showed up in a timely manner, about 30 min, and the driver was a very nice guy. When I opened the orders 2 of the 3 orders were wrong. no big deal, this was the 2nd time it happened, last time we just ate it, this time I called to say, "hey this is wrong". The lady on the phone was very rude, telling me "I know this order I wrote it all down" I told her I get that and it might be written that way but it is wrong. "no, no, no, this is what the lady ordered", I acknowledged maam Im standing right here next to her, I know what she said on the phone. we order the same thing every time" she just kept saying "no you are wrong this is what she ordered" and she kept saying this regardless of what I tried to say. I finally hit the point of saying, "ok, where is your location and Ill just bring it back" and she hung up on me. needless to say this pissed me off so I called back and demanded the address and told her Id be there in a bit to get my money back and she hung up an me again. Ive now decided that since the kiddos meal was right and just not ours and its now 7 oclock at night to just let her eat well just deal and Ill be heading up there tomorrow to talk to a manager or owner of some sort. I wont be going back for service regardless.

Thats exactly what my daughter said after the first bite. I went here because we had an entertainment book coupon, BOGO quart (thats the largest size single entree). I ordered beef & broccoli, and cashew chicken. The cost was around $8 each, before the coupon. I ordered carryout, they quoted 20 minutes, and when I came back 20 minutes later it was ready. The lady behind the counter was very nice. When I got home with the food and served it, my first impression was that it was fresh. The veggies were nice, bright & colorful. The portion size was great. The problem was the taste. It was missing! My daughters beef was mostly fat & gristle. The sauce had NO flavor at all. The broccoli was fresh, though. My cashew chicken had lots of cashews. The chicken was not fresh, it tasted old. Again, the sauce had no flavor. The veggies were frozen peas & carrots, celery & zucchini. The veggies were OK. The rice was rice, just average. None of this was worth $8, let alone $16 (what this would have cost without the coupon). I will never eat here again.

Usual, my fiancé will go inside and grab our food when we order in. We never have them deliver because they take too long and we live a mile away... Today, we were sitting in a shop a couple doors down and we ordered our food in. A friend I feel mine and I walked down to get our food. When we walked in, the lady working the register was super rude and told us "can you just wait a minute?" She said this to us the second we walked through the door. So I quietly walked to the window and waited with my friend. Then she asked what we ordered and gave me attitude when I used a credit card. We then stood there for about 10-15 minutes waiting for my food that should have already been done. The lady stood there and proceeded to argue with her boss about receipts. Keep in mind she was arguing and being rude to her BOSS! She proceeded to be rude to every person that walked in the door after that. If I could give them no stars, I would.
