The outside of Panda House has a fast food feel, but a walk inside is a surprise. They even seat you like a proper restaurant. This is where they lose points: immediately after youre given your menu, part of the ownership unceremoniously ask you what you want. I didnt even have a moment to look at what they had to offer. When I tried to explain, it didnt register at all. The lunch menu consists of an entree and soup, a drink costs extra. I ordered a hot and sour soup, which was delivered first, along with the drink. The Mongolian beef was the entree and it is worthy of going back for another bite. The only problem is that I hardly put the first bite in my mouth before I was given the bill (unceremoniously, again), as if they would have preferred it if I had ordered takeout. They were staring until I put the payment down and immediately snatched it up. Someone returned with a half rolled receipt, set my card on the table and left me a pen. Im not sure what even happened to the pad I tucked my card into. I signed on the table, and again, the receipt was snatched up before I managed more than a handful of bites. Service looses points in my book. Im not sure if they have had a lot of people walking out on them, or if the ownership is more accustomed to takeout customers. I found it more than rude. Otherwise, the food is good. Ill definitely order again but Ill likely have it delivered.

I ordered my food to have it delivered and there was a $3.00 charge. No problem right, well when he got here I gave him a tip, so that driver got $7.00. I opened up my food and went to stir in the rice and there was RAW MEAT in it! I immediatly called them and told them about it. They didnt understand and when they finally got the picture they told me the next meal was on them. So I called about a week later while at work to have my meal for free. The guy claimed that it would again be $3.00, I told him no way that it wasnt my fault the meat was RAW and he said it wasnt his fault that I couldnt come get my food. I told him he needed to pay it and he yelled "FINE WHATEVER I PAY ORDER NOW" well that will be the end of me EVER ordering from the Panda House, that was REDICULOUS and absoulutly disgusting, you do NOT serve RAWWWWWWWWWWWWW meat!!

I used to order from here quite a bit, but will never again. The food is decent, but it isnt worth the rudeness you have to put up with from the staff. I ordered delivery a couple of times to my work. (Im currently the only one in the office.) The driver insisted I come down to get my food because he was "too busy" to come up. I ordered delivery around a week ago to be delivered to my home. The woman on the phone said the delivery driver "wouldnt want to" deliver my food because it was under $10. Jimmy Johns doesnt seem to mind delivering one sandwich! The people that work here are rude and incompetent. I plan to tell everyone I know. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.

If I could still rate and give less than 1 star I would. We ordered delivery tonight, the delivery was about 20 minutes late, which isnt so much an issue as living downtown can cause the delays. The food was inedible, both our dishes the chicken was burnt & tasted as if the oil needed changes. The fried rice was extremely dry and crab Rangoon was overcooked and very greasy. We couldnt even eat it. When we called the location to let them know they proceeded to argue with us & tell us that our food was just fine and "you are wrong, lots if people order from us every day." We understand it could be an off day... but the disrespect, and lack of customer service did it for us. Never again.

recently i picked up my sister & 2 nieces at the airport and decided we all wanted chinese so we went to the Panda House since it is close to the airport. HUGE MISTAKE! The food was totally disgusting -- everything tasted the same. we spent $65 + for our meals and walked away TOTALLY disappointed especially since i read some of the reviews posted here that this place served great Chinese food!!! The owner was rude and at one point yelled at someone in the kitchen!!! how unprofessional!!! Ive always believed that word of mouth is the best advertisement! take my word for it... dont EVER go to the Panda HOuse--- you will walk away with a disgusting taste in your mouth!!!!

Order was not correct. Can honestly say it was the worst chinese food Ive ever had; I couldnt even eat it. I removed the chicken that was rubbery and flavorless, recooked it and added my own sauce. Wantons were not stuffed, just a fried shell. Customer service was awful. Guy explained what napa cabbage was to me a hundred times. I was like, "I know, thats not the problem I had with the meal..." He also tried to tell me the quality was lower because we are in Omaha. He said, "You must be from out of town, this is the way it tastes in Omaha." Anyway, I never write these. But if it helps 1 person decide on a different restaurant, Id feel better.

Ive ordered Broccoli Beef and egg rolls from there five or six times for lunch carry out, and its been great every time. I feel I really underrated this place and it has grown to be one of my favorite Chinese places. Why dont I go here for dinner? The rice and sauce taste good, the egg roll is fantastic, and the service has always been friendly. I dont think the wonton soup was that great but it wasnt bad, and it may just be a personal preference. Huge plus that it is reasonably-priced, at least for lunch: entree with soup and rice is under $7. I would rate five stars if I tried more menu items.

Best coffee I ever had! We were downtown for an event and ordered 7 meals. They were priced great as the dish came with rice and soup. They put chicken in their hot and sour! I also ordered coffee and I have a hard time descrbing it, but it was amazing. I asked what kind of coffee or how it was made and the man out his finger over his lips and said he wasnt telling. Its strange to recommend coffee here but do, try it! The food was great and not one of our party had a negative thing to say. The Orange beef was delicious.

The food is pretty good. I got some appetizers to go, and the staff was rather rude. I was standing out of the way...and they werent busy, but I was rather sternly told by the female staff member.."Sit down maam!" When my food came out, it was given to me by the male staff member who assured me there were sauces in the bag, so I trusted there was...wrong! I felt rushed and discounted...treated like I was a nuisance.

This place sucks the people that work there are so rude i ordered lo mein and it taste burnt and told them thinking that they would replace my plate or not make me pay for it and the guy started yelling at me bc i thought that the food tasted burnt and he made me PAY FOR IT also my gf found hair in her food the panda house down town sucks and i will never go there ever ever ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
