UPDATE # 2: I was going to leave Cirque with at least 3 stars, but not after the recent email I received from the owners after posting the most recent review. Here is an excerpt from that email. "We have tried our best to invite your wife into events, and have even turned the cheek when you have ordered milk drinks and given you 50% off even though it is an infringement on the terms of the membership that you agreed to." Turning the other cheek? Infringement? Please, the tone from the owners is that I am stealing. Until now there has been zero communication from the owners regarding allowances for my spouse, milk drinks or ‘to go orders’. Me and my wife are a single unit that shares everything… income, home, groceries, drinks and coffee beans. Yet according to their seemingly arbitrary rules, I shouldnt be getting a discount because Im sharing it with my wife. Overall, this business shows a lack of organization, communication and genuine appreciation. --------- UPDATE: I decided to purchase the monthly membership. Unfortunately, I have not been satisfied with my purchase. The biggest issues with this "monthly membership are: 1. Coffee drinks are scrutinized by the barista taking the order. If I order two drinks, Im questioned regarding whether this coffee drink is for me or my wife. If it is, no discount for my wife. Let me just say - It is none of their business who Im buying my drink for. I do not come in and buy 10 drinks thinking Im going to use the 50% discount. Its unprofessional to tell me I have 50% on my drinks (according to their flyer) but then question me every time I make my order. Which leads me to the next issue. 2. The first monthly meeting I was told my wife was more than welcome to attend. With what Ive mentioned above, I can tell you this is a definite mixed signal. "Yes, she can come to the meetings but no 50% drinks for her. Also Monthly meetings are inconsistent and last minute as of late. When Cirque decided to create this "monthly membership", they could have simply said "50% discount on one drink per visit" Pretty simple really. Instead, I have to have a discussion each visit about who my drink is for. Again, thats ridiculous and frankly unprofessional. These guys are young and hopefully theyll learn. The coffees are good but nothing mind blowing. I have had great experiences here and enjoy chatting with the guys about everything coffee/brewing. Thats why this stinks. Anyhow, I wish them the best but now its time start ordering my coffee from somewhere else.

Although young shop and owners, Cirque was birthed out of a genuine love for coffee, music, and vibrant community. This passion is evident as management is constantly refining their atmosphere, speciality drinks, and coffee beans offered. Youll notice that every detail of the store has been considered, down to the elegant serving containers and rustic tables. Their staff each have years of experience as baristas around the country and their espresso equipment is the best in the area. They are happy to expertly answer your questions and to make tailored recommendations for you. Im biased because I knew the owners before they opened Cirque, but I didnt realize the extent of their vision until I experienced Cirque first-hand. For most Tulsans, youll find far more than you could expect of a coffee shop here.

Cirque takes an already solid coffee scene in Tulsa and kicks it up a notch on its merits. For those that like to say the coffee sucks, I think you definitely do not know coffee beyond very dark roasts, sweet lattes, and fake chai. For those complaining about the monthly service, well they ARE a new business after all. My advice would be: stop being cheap and understand that they are trying to create a unique product that is well-defined. Let them grow in that. Both the drip coffee and espresso-based drinks are the best in town. I have been to all the best shops in town many times, and this place edges them out. Once they get their big roaster in, it will be on and they are going to sell soooo much coffee. Many blessings to you guys at Cirque. You have created something excellent.

The chi, which the barista loves and highly recommends, isnt as good as the powdered version next store (The Pheniox), nor does it best Shades of Brown or CHOCS, the space is cold, and the seating could be more comfortable. But the barista was also very sincere and kind, and the atmosphere somehow feels...warmer, than a lot of other places in town. I wouldnt recommend this shop if you want an excellent example of Tulsas coffee crazed population, but its definitely a good place to sit for a while with a book and think deep thoughts.

Another great coffee shop new to the Tulsa area. I love this place. Ive only gotten pour-overs, so I cant comment on anything else, but Ive enjoyed what Ive gotten so far. Really cool environment and it looks like they do all of the roasting in-store. This is a cool place to chill, get some work done, and enjoy an afternoon sipping on fresh black coffee.

Outrageously overpriced. Theyve been roasting for less than a year and charge for their beans as if theyre in the top 1% of the third wave market. They may be there some day in terms of quality, but a burnt cup of coffee is a burnt cup of coffee regardless of the creative way its brewed. Try it out in a few years when price matches quality.

30 minute visit: This spacious coffee shop on a Thursday cold afternoon attracts hipsters and college students. Staff 4/5 stars. Decor 3.5/5. Chai 3.5/5. Wifi worked perfectly and there was plenty of seating. I did not see a lot of outlets, although I didnt look very hard or ask. I will probably be back to try a different drink.

I havent been to all the coffee shops in Tulsa but this one is the best of the ones I have. The atmosphere and the staff are great and the rotating menu has never disappointed me. There is this one table thats topped with hammered copper, and its kinda hard to balance a paper cup on it. This is the only critique I have.

Very unique coffee experience-- instead of your average mochas and sugar-loaded beverages they have really interesting drink specials combining flavours you might not have considered in a coffee drink. And the building is adorable, making for a really nice atmosphere.

Great coffee, friendly staff. The music was a bit too loud while we were there, which made conversation difficult. They also have a very limited number of seats with backs, which can get uncomfortable. Nevertheless, the quality of their coffee will lure me back.

Cirque is an amazing coffee shop with an industrial vibe. They have a ton of signature beverages including the draft latte which is to die for. Everyone is super friendly. Its a great place to get some work done or just hang out with friends

Great addition to the coffee scene in Tulsa. John, Garrett, and the team are all wonderful and run a great shop together. The tables are an odd height to work from for extended lengths of time, but everything else makes up for that.

Their staff has been nothing but awesome everytime I go in. The coffee is always awesome and they are super quick at getting it to you! Definitely one of my top 3 favorite coffee shops in the Tulsa area.
