Food: I have eaten at Happy Garden many times. The food has always been excellent. Its prepared fresh in the back which is great except when youre in a hurry. We usually call ahead and order or just have it delivered, but once I dropped in for a quick meal and had to wait 45 min for my food. I dont fault them for that, though. They were very busy, and the food, when I did get it, was fresh and delicious. Decor: This place is not fancy inside. I started eating here after my fiance introduced me to the place. Id driven by for years without stopping because it looked kinda run down, and I figured the food wouldnt be good. Well, it is good for a weeknight or whenever you just want great Chinese food, just dont plan on having date night here. Service: Ive never had bad service here. Having said that, its not sugary and over-the-top either. Its usually very short and business-like. This doesnt bother me at all. If youre looking for a place that feels attentive to you and makes you feel like a cherished customer, then this place will not suit you. If youre just hungry and looking for great Chinese food, then give them a call!

i work and eat here all the time, as to the lady who says she worked here during college, and also wrote the negative review, its an interesting fact that she is the owner of asian cuisine, and is constantly writting negative reviews for our restaurant. Not only that but she posted and made her own reviews for her own restaurant under false names lol. Ive never heard or had any reports of people being sick, and Ive worked here for over 5 years! The restaurant is what it is, you like it, you like it, if not then not. But dont let this ladies want to selfishly further her own business effect your opinion of ours.

Went to work here part-time while in colleage and was shocked when I saw what happens in the back. Cross-contamination. They used the same knife to cut veggies and meats without washing. They had sacks and sacks of MSG, even though they told me to tell the customers that they dont cook with it. Meats and veggies lingered for hours out of their coolers on the floor until it was prepared. They washed their hands with water only - no soap and dried their hands on their dirty aprons. I had heard rumors of people getting sick from eating from there, I didnt believe them at first. I know why it is true now.

My boyfriend and I love the food here. I have never experienced a wrong take-out order. You do have to wait just a little bit when you go to pickup your order, but thats only because they cook their food to be fresh. This restaurant has never made me sick and their prices are very affordable. You get so much food for so little money. The people who cook, and serve are very nice and generous. I definitely recommend this food to anyone looking for a tasty meal!

So I ordered a meal yesterday it was good but I waited for a hour and 15 minutes my lunch was over and I called them and they said he will be there shortly he shows up 5 minutes later it was 7 dollars and I paid them 5 and said I waited to long and my food was warm thats it. I called back today and they said they dont deliver one meal and I said you did yesterday and he said sorry and Hung up on me so I wont eat there anymore

Always a nice experience when we eat in or take out. The staff is very friendly! We drive all the way from Purcell just to get our food from here when we want Chinese. Probably one of the best places we have found so far that we enjoy the taste and freshness of the food. No matter what we order it is very generous portions and hot! Give this place a try I do hope you enjoy it as much as us.

Happy Garden is by far the best Chinese food in town. The service is quick and pleasant, if not overly friendly. The decor isnt fancy and this isnt the place for a nice night on the town, but when you want delicious food Happy Garden is the place to go. A friend introduced me and now I crave it all the time! Try it out, you wont be disappointed.

So I got three meals delivered to my place and the rice, egg rolls, and some of the other stuff tested like soap didnt even eat a quarter of the and the manager there said there is no way that it could taste like soap and that we ate most of it. I advise not to get food here if there not going to wash there dishes right

Shrimp with mixed vegetables and fried rice which is all I ever order. Last couple of months the Brown sauce has turned out super strong and salty. It could be diluted in half and I think it would be perfect. Fried rice is excellent.

Two children under 10 years old behind the counter working... Well the girl was handing out pick-up orders and the little boy was just being obnoxious. Either way you slice it, not very professional. Last time I will eat here.

Enjoyed the broccoli and chicken. Why do all Chinese joints in Norman offer fried rice entrees and its really just yellow rice with carrots and peas thrown in??? You have to go to Thai places to get real fried rice meals.

The food was obviously extremely old and gross. The crab rangoons were burnt and flavorless, the chicken and beef were like chewing through iron. What a waste of $25!
