Fantastic Chinese restaurant. Although Ive been disenchanted with Chinese buffets in the past, (I am an American born Chinese, raised with quality food cooked at home and in better quality Chinese restaurants in the MD/VA area) I was pleasantly surprised by New Peking. It looks on the outside like a little hole in the wall sort of place, but inside there is a huge, clean buffet with lots of options. There is some of they typical Chinese buffet fare here, but also some well made sushi/sashimi, a stir fry station and some western dishes as well. Every time I go I leave surprised and pleased by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and of the value that I feel that I get there. The lunch buffet is a shocking deal and the dinner is pretty good as well. I even brought my real-Chinese mother in law there the other week and even SHE was impressed. Check it out- youll be surprised that there is a pearl like this in little Streetsboro.

My wife and I took our one year old for dinner on a Sunday evening. I would give this place 0 stars if possible. My first impression should have caused me to leave before I sat down. There are signs all over the small buffet that read, "HELP US KEEP OUR PRICES LOW. TAKE ONLY WHAT YOU CAN EAT." Each pan was incredibly low and the food looked old. I took the last scoop of white rice and it was never replaced (we were there for an hour). It is obvious from the presentation and atmosphere that the owner/management is cheap which makes me suspect that the kitchen operations are less than scrupulous. The service is about what you would expect from a buffet. No real visits to the table and no offers for refills. They charged us for a childs meal for our 1 year old. They were also very helpful in precalculating a tip on our receipt as well. What a joke.

This place is cheap and went down hill from how it was in the past. They charged us for our 1 year old who ate litterly 2 bites of fruit and also were rude when I asked about it. They charged my 7yr old for an adult buffet who did not eat an adult size portion. They dont even warn you either. The signs of "take only what you can eat" should have tipped me off on how cheap this place is. They also do not give refills unless you flag them down and ask them and the refills are only a half glass. The food was stale and hard and looked like it was sitting out for a long time. The one Asian woman watches how much we eat and gives us dirty looks. I was very disappointed in this place. I would not recommend coming here, especially with kids unless you want to pay adult prices for babies and small children.

Zero stars. The food is old and stale, seems like 2 or 3 days old, just reheated over and over again. Quite greasy too, even the steamed rice was greasy probably to make it look moist and not look stale. Nothing, I mean NOTHING here was fresh. This was my second visit because I thought I was there at the wrong time the first time. But NO, same thing. I dont think they cook fresh here. The meats dry and brittle. And very very limited choices. I cant tell you one thing on the menu that was good or fresh. Not one! I did not leave a tip because I did not even think it was worth the price of it by itself. I wish they would hearken to these one star reviews and do better for their own good. I dont enjoy giving a bad review but this place deserves nothing better believe me.

REALLY IMPRESSIVE! The food at the buffet is very tasty (love the fried dumplings, crab ragoons and chicken dishes), all of the food seemed to be very fresh and it is made is smaller batches. A nice variety of Chinese inspired dishes with several options that extremely picky eaters or children would enjoy. The buffet is also a really good value at 6.95 for the lunch buffet and 9.95 for the dinner buffet. The sushi was okay, but very heavy on the rice and mayo/cream cheese-based fillings.

New Peking has an absolutely wonderful deal for a buffet, at this time ~$6.30 You get more than you pay for, but consider the low price when you are eating the food. Basic Chinese buffet staples with the wonderful addition of decent sushi, ice cream and some unique offerings such as wondrously buttery and flaky broccoli cheese crisps. Buffet stock is regularly rotated with few cases of things left out a little to long. You cant beat the quality to price here.

This is definately the best Chinese food in Streetsboro for your $ value. Take out always hot and fresh. Buffet is great also. I have been dining here even before they relocated to their New Peking. Owners are delightful and and truly appreciative of their customers. Their Crab Rangoon definately beats their competitors. Try them out you wont be disappointed.

Worst food and choices I have ever seen at a buffet. If you like chicken and sea food you might like this place. Im a vegetarian and could only eat the lo mein, fried rice, and dessert. Most choices were not labeled. Everything tasted overcooked, dried out or stale. 4 star average made me want to go, but dont believe it.

I dont normally eat out because its bad for your health but if I do, I try to only go to New Peking. Edie and her staff are doting, friendly and their client base is very regular. The restaurant is spotless and the ingredients are fresh. You wont find better food quality for these prices anywhere else.

I always make a stop here for the buffet when I am in town from Columbus, Ohio. They have, in my opinion, the best buffet selection. The people who run the place and work there are absolutely amazing. Theyre very kind, prices are great, food is great, clean environment. Two thumbs up!

We went on a Sunday around 1:00 and most of the food in the buffet looked like it had been there from when they opened. Most of their dishes were dried out. They only stocked the green beans and chicken with broccoli, the whole time we were there. I doubt well be going back.
