My Jacksonville family come together every Saturday night for a dinner out and unfortunately we had chosen China Buffet for this past weekend. We also had extended family from out of town so we were a party of 17. First we were placed at four tables in the very rear furtherest back corner of the restaurant, past the bathrooms, although there were plenty of empty tables available together elsewhere. Then we had the rudest server who, halfway through dinner, begin slapping the check down on each table for payment. (Now we have been coming to this place for years and always paid at the cashier on the way out). I had just sat down with a bowl of soup when she slapped the check down next to me and my husband was still up at the buffet line. She came back three more times for the check while I was still eating my soup. I then went up front to talk to a manager and the cashier looked at me like a deer caught in headlights. Apparently there is no supervisor or manager. The cashier looked at a couple of the servers who were chatting at the front entrance and pointed me toward one. When I explained how pushy the server was being about the checks to all our family, I was just told twice, "you can take all the time you want". Obviously I could not get anyone to understand the situation. Meanwhile the rude server was even more angry I had said anything and proceeded to tell me and my party that we can go and dont come back. Needless to say, we were not served any more drinks and while the rude server was huddled together with a group of other servers, I assume talking about her unreasonable table, when we walked out to leave after dinner she again proceeded to point us out to her friends and tell us, once again, not to come back. Well no worries on that account. In all my years, I have never had such rude, nasty service and to a party of 17 family members.

When entering the china buffet at 9:20pm on june 3.2010 I called before coming they said they closed at 10:00pm. I went for a business dinner meeting. I was accompanied by three other people. We had gotten our food. When getting the crab legs a lady that could not speak english whatsoever tried to explain to use that they were charging $13.00 for the crab legs plus $8.99. After telling the lady that they charge $5.00 then the $8.99 she argued with us then decided to get a cook that spoke english he then told the lady that we were right and she was wrong. And bad thing was we dont work there and we knew the price. Then when getting to table to eat the crab legs they were cold. Then we told the waitress and she told us to go get the crab legs at the bottom of pan that they are hot. So we got the crab legs at the bottom of pan. And they were rubbery and tough.And not only were the crab legs cold the food that was suppose to be hot it was also cold. Then we told our waitress and she spoke to the boss or so you can say he was a rude person. He came to the table and said he would only take off one of the crab leg purchase. Only two people got crab legs. I proceed to tell him how would he like to go somewhere and pay for something that didnt taste good whatsoever. He continued to argue about the crab legs. Well he ended up taking the crab legs off the bill. Then the waitress came to our table handed us our bill and told us to leave. And as soon as the bill was put on the table it was like a everyone who worked there came out the wood work and took all the food off the buffet. I thought they were very rude after that. I will never return there. So if you have to go to a meeting do not go there. I felt very disrespected and the better business bureau will hear about this.

They all had attitudes and gave me dirty looks. Waitress only refilled my drink one time and she saw me slurping at the last little bit of drink through the ice and turned her heked away it was just so disrespectful that I just didnt say anything and went to the bathroom to get some water from the spicket. then when I went to the Mongolian BBQ the kid cooked it up and then I asked him if it I put some more seasoning syrup on it without the seasoning being cooked would it make me sickand then I think it was one of the owners of the place he come up all in my face when I wasnt even talking to him to begin with and he barely even spoke American English I couldnt even understand what he was saying and then Ill even think he understood exactly what he was saying it didnt none of it even made any sense and then he said arent you going to put some money in the gratuity box I told him no because I didnt like his attitude. then a few minutes later when I was out getting some more food he comes up to me and Im pretty sure he said to not put any more food on my plate and eat the food quickly and then leave but I just acted like I didnt understand what he was saying. the whole staff all had bad attitude they acted like they didnt want to be doing their job and all they were not very friendly and personable it all and the noodles the texture of the noodles seem like they was on the verge of being rotten but they covered it up with some teriyaki sauce or something. the best part about the whole experience was the fact that I left no tip for the waitress hahaha

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! It was suppose to be a happy Mothers Day for me coming out to eat with my kids and husband. We are from Virginia so when we came here we thought it was nice until we stepped inside! As soon as we walked in we didnt get any greetings. We waited for a table of 6 the waitresses came to us and said come check to see if we wanted to sit in a booth! For a family of 6 "come on now really" but we made it work. Now we got seated waitress asked us what we wanted to drink 4 Sprite 2 teas she brought us our drinks but we were missing one before we can even say we needed a missing tea she literally ran for the back. So we got up to get our food sat back down started to eat. We each had a cluster of crab legs in our plate. The waitress came to our table touched my husband crab legs and said this cost 19.99 extra. So by her touching it before we can decide to pay that we said we wont pay so she took the crab legs from our plate and brought it to the back!!!! When I say that was the most embarrassing moment in my life I was!!!! And me having my kids there I couldnt just get ratchet !!! So my husband spoke to manager well tried because she didnt understand what was going on! We got up and left and Ill be dammed if they thought we were going to pay! On our way out not one person said they were sorry!!! I will be calling someone to check them out because the crab legs taken from our plates was probably put back out to eat!!!
