Bad sickening food. Got sick from just a few bites. Manager refusesed to let me pay for my fiances food and leave. Wanted to make me pay for the spoiled shrimp(1) and a couple of other discusting bites from my plate, that I regurgitated in to my napkins. Tried not to make a seen, but got the cops called on me. Manager tried to lie, when she said that she had cameras. Said that I ate 4 or 5 plates. Then the cop asked to see them. She was not ablged to take him in to the back, but she was willing to take the money for my fiances food. Then thanked me by trespassing me. Lol. Like I want to go back to that dump and put there spoiled bacteria riden sad excuses for food in my mouth. Much less, fill my nastuals with the smell of mold and mildew, only covered by the smell of there awful food.

Warning #1 first got sat and noticed a dead fly in the wicker basket the used to hold napkins. Warning# 2 notice the food was dried out, soup was a glob... couldnt even call it a soup... After those two warnings, I ended eating a spoiled fried dumpling... the filling inside was foul smelling and rotten and I spit it out after realizing not nasty it was. I told the main lady at the counter that the dumplings they are serving is not fresh and they did not bother to check it or remove it from the buffet line. Ended waking up to food poison with bad stomach pain and diarrhea... once Im over this.. I will definitely see to having a health inspector assigned there.

The sushi was really good, along with most of the other food. the main problem I found was the temp of some of the foods. there was inconsistency between the dishes. one would be very hot, and another would just be kinda warm. The spring rolls were too dry on the corners, I suspect this to be caused by this heating issue. The location is rather trashy looking, but the inside of the store is actually very nice. it is an old building, and that kinda shows, but for the most part its a really nice looking restaurant. Service was great!

I have been there 3x ...the third time was yesterday after I got off from work... I decided not to eat in because I had a lot if errands to run... But anywho....I weighed my tray up and it came to $11 and some change....but that wasnt the problem....the problem was when I got home and began to eat my clams some of them taste like I was chewing on something gritty and thats a NO NO and everything else on my tray was good the clams was too...(just not the gritty ones)... But other then that my experiences there has been a good one

Have eaten here several times with family and friends. I went alone today on a whim. My bill totalled $17.10!!!! I have never paid this much before and thought theyd raised the prices. But no. The highest price on the billboard is $10.98. I have no idea why my bill was so much - this is a buffet - but I seriously doubt I will ever frequent Royal Buffet again. For that price I couldve had fresh food, full services and an environment that didnt include the fellow in front of me watching a movie on his phone.

This place is disgusting!! Went in last night and I had 1 simple dinner meal from the buffet. Orange chicken, broccoli, rice, and a few other items. A short while later, my stomach became very distraught and I woke up in the wee hours of the morning to vomiting and diarrhea!! My body violently rejected this garbage and I had to miss work because of it. Im so disturbed that I am going to call the health department. PLUS it was overpriced!! Eat & die! (OR come close)

Royal buffet made me royally SICK. I only got potatoes off of the buffet line & had the Mongolian section stir fry me up some shrimp, veggies, eggs & noodles. I got it all to go & wish I hadnt. I paid 13.50 & have been throwing up & more every since. I will NEVER eat there again. I normally dont do reviews, but had to this time. I bought it Tuesday night & Im still having issues. No thanks royal buffet, you were a royal pain in my belly, literally.

One of the best buffet in Jacksonville however when it comes to cleanliness this place needs improvement. the the tables looked liked they had smear marks that are too hard to miss. the ice cream scoopers next to the ice cream machine are filthy the bathrooms are disgusting. This is a great buffet with very friendly staff but whoevers in charge of keeping the place clean needs to be on task and not take short cuts.

Okay this was gross. To begin with when I picked up a plate the one under it was orange and pink and way dirty. All the food was cold. Desert wasnt refreshed the whole time we were there and it looks like they buy it from somewhere else because it was in plastic boxes. The avocado in the sushi was old and brown. The place smelled weird and was dirty... There was a kid shoving his hand in the drink ice...

They have a black light for flies by the ice cream and ice cream cups. It was filled with flies which turned my stomach. By that time I was ready to go! I ate before I saw that so I did try the food. Some of the food was ok, some was just NOT! Lets not forget fruit flies on the fruit. Will not be coming back here again! Ill chop this up to a donation! And btw 11 yr old is considered an adult!

Salad bar has been upgraded in my opinion. Hibachi grill is one of best I have tasted in Jacksonville, FLORIDA. Plenty of parking, open on Christmas Day. Staff is wonderful and sushi is good, but for the real stuff you may want to go to a restaurant that specializes in Sushi. JTA Bus stop right off property.(RTS 14 and 15 going towards downtown). Catering is available for reasonable prices.

Horrible horrible horrible the food was horrible the service was horrible then on top of that they charge me for my 11 year old as an adult. They stuck Us in the back booth and then they forgot about us no one came to clean off the table. The customer service to us the way there something they act like they have attitude I will never go back its horrible of the just a horrible experience.

The sushi was disgusting! The rest of the food was disgusting! Its way over priced for the quality of the food. Dont waste your money!!! Didnt even make it home before 3 out of the 5 of us had to go throw up. Never again will we go there!! Orange Buffet in Orange Park is the best we have found, but this place was closer so wanted to give it a fair chance. But it was so gross!!
