We had the worse experience here. I went in with my husband and 2 kids. We waited almost 10 minutes just to give our drink order. There were only 4 other tables there when we went in and we still had to wait almost 10 more minutes until we could give our food order.. 2 sandwiches and an order of liver and onions. We waited almost an hour before receiving our food and my sandwich was burnt on one side and soggy on the other. All of the food was cold and the liver had been deep-fried. I have patience because I am a bartender at a high volume restaurant and my husband is a sous chef. But no one checked on us. A woman was going around giving other tables that came in after us complimentary wine for the wait and didnt even come near us. AND my husband had ordered a glass of wine which he never received. No one apologized or even checked on us. I asked for my check twice, sent my food back, and the manager was too busy talking to other people to talk to me. I would NEVER go back there again.

Im a HUGE fan of diners and they are slowly dying in corporate American. This meal was noteworthy of something out of June Cleavers kitchen! The country fried chicken and eggs breakfast with homefries was absolutely incredible! The biscuits and gravy were phenomenal! The Belgian waffles and sausage links were unmatched by any of the chain diners that have overrun our cities. Im a strong supporter of local businesses and Argos Family Diner will get me back there again for more. The portion sizes and quality of the food was freaking EPIC! The only qualm I had was that the coffee was downright stale and the mugs they served it in should be donated to the local Good Will. Overall Im pretty impressed with the services provided! Cant wait to try their Gyros, I mean they are a Greek diner!

We found this place by accident and are so glad we did. It was 7ish (Saturday night) and we were looking for a place that wasnt super crowded (not easy on Saturday night). Low and behold we drive by this diner (with only a few cars in the parking lot) We both got the special (pork chops with green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy. My wife got a salad and I got the lemon chicken soup. We both left thinking we ate some of the best home cooked food ever, the real homemade mashed taters were amazing. the pork chops were super juicy and had awesome flavor. The only thing we werent crazy about was the side salad (which was still ok just not special like everything else) Anyway we will be going back and I cant wait to try their breakfast.

In the spring of 2008 we spent a month in the Apopka/Altamonte Springs area and discovered Argos. It was exactly what we were hoping to find for a breakfast and lunch place. It was obvious that most of the diners were locals who eat regularly at this delightful place. We surmise that this is a family owned and operated restaurant, and it is well done. George, apparently the patriarch, spoke to us on each of our 4 or 5 visits, and the wait-staff appeared to be his daughters. The food was well prepared and moderately priced. This is your basic meat and three restaurant with a varied menu. Breakfast was as good as you can get anywhere. I would recommend it to anyone looking for good food, local color, and moderate prices.

This place felt dirty and greasy walking in the door. I really hoped I would find our go to breakfast place here. The food was horrible. My sons pancakes were dry and tasted like they had been cooked with stale grease. His sausage link was raw. The waitress replaced it immediately, she had a good attitude(the only reason they got two stars). My orange juice tasted like medal. My eggs benedict had a bad mayonnaise flavor not delicate like Im used too. The bacon was hard to chew. We all had really bad cramping in our stomachs when we left. I could go on and on. Waitress was nice, price wasnt bad.

This is a family owned restaurant with great service! The food is delicious and the staff is great. The owners take the time to ask how your meal is going and if there is something they can do for you. They have awesome Gyros and serve breakfast all day! The price is great. They have breakfast specials for about $6 (2 HUGE pancakes, 2 eggs, bacon or saugage). I did not even finish my plate and had to take the pancake home! Definitely recommend this place!

(I should not be telling you this. Ah well, perhaps you will still drive to one of the hundreds of eateries around this area.) I just had a grouper dinner (1 pound maybe), perfectly grilled / juicy, along with a chilled salad in a soup tureen (!) -- two warm and fresh-baked dinner rolls, . . and what else . . oh Yes: a glass of good white wine. All for under fifteen bucks!

I was starving & wanted some good ole breakfast at lunch. Well theres nothing special about what I had. It was ok but price didnt match. Eggs with cheese $4. I wanted waffles with walnuts well lol I got them waffles & walnuts thrown on top. Apple Juice tasted blah. I could have gotten better at IHOP for less. Thats what I get for not wanting to drive far. It wasnt packed

Im a sucker for staple meals and this place never fails in the quality and quantity of their food! I love their BLT and potato salad! I know its hard to mess up a BLT, but Argos makes them really good. Today I tried their chili that was on the special board and it was just as good as the recipe I make at home! The breakfast is always really good and served all day.

Has an outside seating area if you want to bring your pets. Inside is a homey dinner. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. The eggs Benedict with the sausage patty and sausage gravy was out of this world delicious. The poached eggs werent too runny or too cooked. Just the right viscosity to meld with the English muffin below.

Ive been frequenting Argos Diner since day one and have never had a bad experience. Breakfast is out of this world. You can not get a better omelet in Central Florida. George is what every small restaurant owner should be like, he is always there waiting with a warm welcome. I could not recommended a restaurant any higher!

Quiet atmosphere, not too busy thats seems qauotic. Efficient service, staff attentive. Food was good. I like having a saucer to to rest my tea/ coffee spoon, which was not provided. Only place to rest spoon was on table. I improvised by trying to fit into a coffee mate pack. However I also could have asked for one.

This place is one of my favorite places to go because of all the good memories Ive had there. The food is cheap and fast, and all the staff are friendly and Ive made friends with all of them. If youre looking for gourmet food this is not the place, but I love it so much and Ive never had a bad experience!
