Just purchased the $12.99 Grilled Salmon Caesar Salad today. RT should be ashamed of itself for serving this. Where do I start . . . First, although the salmon was palatable and a nice portion, it was placed straight off the grill onto the waiting ICEBURG lettuce. Dearest RT, Caesar salad is always made with ROMAINE lettuce, the reason being it will hold up to Caesar dressing and, if added, warm protein. Alas, RT, you have not followed the recipe as indicated on your own menu. Moving on from the content issue, did I not just eat a side salad with a piece of salmon on it? When I opened up my black RT container, the salad had slid off to one corner of the square container, and I must say it fit in the square corner of the container quite nicely. Yes, the salad literally only filled up one-quarter of the dinner container. PAAALEEEEASE, $12.99 FOR A SIDE SALAD--YES I AM BEING INTENTIONALLY RUDE FOR TYPING IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS! For that was my reaction when I noticed the soggy ICEBURG lettuce sticking to the corner sides of my container, barely holding up to the heavy salmon sitting atop its totally done-for texture. I asked my co-worker if perhaps this was someones leftover salad--and perhaps they had dumped their water glass into their plate. Hmmm, perhaps. Or perhaps an inexperienced staff member was told to retrieve some greens into the container while the chef prepared the somewhat delectable, I must admit, salmon. Off with her head, and teach this restaurant that to err in ones salad is to go out of business. Why should it be so when they have the best salad bar in town? Did I insult them for asking for a salad off the menu? Why then offer such atrocity? For those of you in the Seven Hills/Independence/Brecksville area, I must rave here on the awesomeness of the Caesar salad, especially with salmon, or even Chilean sea bass if available at The Courtyard on the corner of Rtes 82 and 21. This darling venue serves dressing that is homemade and blended with the perfectly torn ROMAINE lettuce. Served on the side is your choice of a beautiful warm muffin of the day in the most delectable flavors, or a round French bread the size of a saucer, the height of a teacup, warm and delectable fresh from the oven. Shall I quote their price for the size of this awesome salad--even in a takeout container which contains a lemon wedge wearing the cutest little mesh shower cap to capture those runaway seeds--the price for this, folks, is $12.49. Yep for 1/2 dollar less you get $20 more in value! Enjoy, and eat your heart out Ruby Tuesday, find a new day because I will not order this salad again!!!!!

My plan was to sit and have a drink while my girlfriend had the salad bar then Id buy Mr Hero and head home, I never really liked this place but my girlfriend likes the salad bar for some reason, I think its their waldorf salad she likes so much and I admit its pretty good, probably the best thing on the salad bar. I ended up ordering the colossal burger and salad bar and regretted diverging from my initial plan. Not only did I end up paying twice what I would have from my initial plan, the food came out not as I ordered and the drink wasnt good either, far too sweet and it was supposed to be "fizzy" and was flat. A well done burger came out when I ordered a medium and if youve ever experienced the difference between the two you know that overcooking hamburger destroys the flavor of the beef. The worse was the fries, the taste was clearly of old fry oil, my girlfriend also commented on the off taste. I just ate them cause I was hungry and I couldnt imagine sending them back and them changing the oil just for me. Also Im not one to send anything back, If Im not happy with something I usually try to get them to strike it from the check, I feel if they let it leave the kitchen in a sad state they really cant be trusted to deliver on the second time through. So I lived with the overcooked burger and the fries. I could have spent half the money so many other places and left very happy. Im going to have to find somewhere else that has a good waldorf salad so I dont have to go here anymore. All summed up, the waitress was ok, salad bar was just fine but the price was just too much, I guess any price is too much when youre not satisfied. If it was better than I wouldnt have complained about the price.

First of all I will say that I enjoy the salad bar, the burgers are okay, and the biscuits are very tasty. I have been here several times, however I dont really enjoy this place. I feel like the entrees are overpriced for what you get and not very enjoyable. The last time I went I had the Hickory Bourbon Chicken and it was overwhelmingly alcoholic tasting, I have had it before and it is not normally like that. I think thats something the kitchen should have checked and it shouldnt have gone out like that. The server told me he could take it back to the kitchen and they could "wash it off and put it back on the grill" I asked for barbecue sauce on it instead because I didnt want it to come back tasting that way again. The barbecue sauce was not good and still had a lingering alcoholic taste when he brought it back. I think a fresh piece of chicken should have been given to me. They did however replace the mashed potatoes but gave me less. Definitely dont think the taste or portion size was worth the price. Also dont enjoy the atmosphere of the place, dark, cold, and crowded. Probably wont return for anything other than the burgers and salad bar taken to go.

Very disappointed, they did a good job in adding new items to salad bar BUT at the same time they changed the blue cheese dressing (which was the best blue cheese dressing invented) to a buttermilk blue cheese (gross) and took away the thousand island dressing. They raised the price of the bourbon salmon (which was over cooked). No good cocktails (Fridays cocktails menu is bomming). I will not go back there again, b4 the price hike and salad bar change I use to go once a month.

Good food and service. The only thing negative I would say about it is that the location of their waiting area is in the worst location. You have to stand and wait to be seated in the most high traffic area so youre always in the way of someone trying to get by to the salad bar or a server trying to get by to bring food to a table, etc. So they should reconsider their design a bit. But other than that, great place to get food. Good salad bar, drinks, food, etc.

This is truly one of my favorite restaurants. Very reasonable prices combined with above average food. I am particularly fond of the crab cakes. I think they are better than on the Chesapeake. The service is efficient and pleasant. The decor is attractive. I eat there often. Ive tried another of these restaurants in Streetsboro and I was very disappointed in the food and service there. So apparently these restaurants are dependent on the cook.
