Was just amazed at the selection of draft and bottled beers. Music they played was great too. Inside bar had class and comfort. It would have been very enjoyable if not for the poor service. Staff seemed very clicky - no smiles really. Very slow to check back on you. If you wanted to stop by for a couple of beers you might be there a while waiting on the second one, UNLESS youre going to the same college as them and then youd be in like flint. I usually tip too much because I was a server once and remember how hard it was back then - but then again I never treated customers so poorly either - no tip left this time. Maybe if you became a regular theyd treat you better. But Im not sure I want to become a regular here, not as it is now anyway. Hopefully the franchise group locally takes the reviews here seriously and takes action because World of Beer is actually a GREAT concept and theyve no doubt laid out plenty of cash to get this place in Fort Myers and at such a great location in Fort Myers too no less. Being a loyalty club member, Ive been to quite a few WOBs. This one was by far the worst. I went early last month and thought they were just having a bad day. After checking the place out a couple more times, everyday must be a bad day. Every time I have gone, the beer is somewhere between almost cold and room temperature... draft or bottle. The service is a joke unless youre at the bar, then its mediocre. This past trip, we had two servers walk right past our table twice in the ten minutes we were waiting. There was also some car club meeting there and the servers helped shoo away an older couple because they needed the extra table. We left, so fortunately they were able to sit at our table. No telling if they ever got service or not. The selection of beer is outstanding though!

While boasting a large selection of beer, overall it is fairly mainstream selections with a small variety. Unfortunately I have to echo the other reviewers sentiments of poor service. I should not have to wait several minutes at a bar that is not really busy while the bartender is busy face booking and snap chatting at the register. We also came on trivia night, which unfortunately subjected us to what may be the most annoying person on a mic second to Gilbert Godfrey, and the trivia questions were about middle school level to boot :( The pretzel is awesome though. Thoroughly underwhelmed.

I give WOB 5 stars because they have great beer and fair service (at the Bell Tower location.) However, the Gulf Coast Towne center location leaves much to be desired. I like to stop occasionally after work for a beer (or 2), and no matter who is working, I ALWAYS end up waiting at least 10 minutes after I finish my first drink before anyone even checks on me. There is always no less than 2 people working and is kind of irritating.

Awesome place to relax and have fun. Bartenders are super knowledgable of their hundreds of beers. Ian is an excellent bartender and works Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday evenings. Id suggest going and seeing him to have a great guide who can take you through all the beers to ensure you like what you drink!

Definitely one of the best WOB locations in the area. Chris was an amazing server/bartender. Recommended great craft beer/ cider choices made my wife very happy.. Will definitely frequent this location and join the points club next time we stop by!

World of Beer is tucked into Belltower, with a lovely bit of outdoor seating. Theres some finger food, but youre mostly here for their selections of beers. I tried a flight myself, got to enjoy some selections from local breweries!

Ive been here a few times, but I havent tried much. Ive only gotten beer there, and I usually get whatever craft beer is on special. Ive always been pleased with my beer and the service is impeccable.

Great place to relax and have a drink on the open patio. You have to get the giant pretzel with the beer cheese and ask them for a side of crumbled bacon to add to the cheese.

Love the atmosphere. Staff is always friendly. It is usually busy here, but still a good place to relax. Beer prices are a bit steep, but the happy hour makes up for it.

Great beer selection, but it is body to body crowded. All outdoor in Florida = hot and wet. Not as nice as other WOB locations Ive experienced.
