I have had calzones from Longos in Mentor, Mama Santa in Little Italy, Luigis in Akron, Davitinos in Mentor, Mama Roberto in Mentor, and Pizazz in Mayfield. Vicinatos are still the best and I have been going there for 10 years. Yeah I admit that the service is average at best because they have older people who think they can take their good ol time with serving you. And never come back to your table after they bring out the food. But I still come here because of how simple their food is and how everything tastes and comes out homemade. The fried green peppers are an underrated appetizer there too. To the person who didnt know they didnt take cash, they have this thing called the Internet where you can find a restaurants website or a profile somewhere to find out what payments they take. They also have the phone number listed to call them and ask. If I had a large group of people coming, I would have found out just to make sure, especially because Ive never been there before. Just a thought.

My wife and I got Vicinatos to go last night. We ordered a chicken parm meal, veal parm meal and a bowl of soup. As my wife was eating her salad, there was a tiny black worm in it. That is disgusting. She called the restaurant to inform them and all they did was offer to give her a salad credit?? Is this customer service? We just spent $50 on to go food for two people to have a worm in our food. We couldnt even eat the rest of our meal. Very disappointed that this restaurant would not go above and beyond in fixing the situation. Wont be going back to this overpriced restaurant.

Awesome local pizza place if you live in the Lyndhurst-Mayfield area. Ive heard the owners are related to the owners of Tasty Pizza (also very good) on the other side of Mayfield and they split off and started vicinatos as a result of a family feud. Not sure if its true. But great pizza!

I have beem here many time and they have pretty decent food but the service is not the best and It is not very clean the bathrooms are the worst when I went into the mens restroom all the lights were burnt out and I couldnt see a thing besides that the place is not bad.
