If you like pizza in its original form, go there. They use "00" flour in the crust, imported San Marzano tomatoes in the sauce, real mozzarella, fresh basil and other fine ingredients that cost more and are definitely worth it. They cook it in an oven that was flown in from Italy in pieces and reassembled - it cooks quickly at very high temperature, which helps the cheese retain moisture without "sogging" the crust. I drive past several places to get there. If you like all-you-can-eat stuffed-crust BBQ chicken pizza sitting out under a heat lamp on a buffet, dont go there. If you want Hawaiian or even pepperoni pizza, dont go there. Itll be too expensive, not substantial enough, etc. This is the only review Ive ever written on google. I just had to counter the reviews of people who dont know anything about or dont really care about food. In no way judging them, but if youre into food, this is easily the best (really the only) pizza option in town. I always get the Margherita DOC pizza and the Arancini appetizer.

Crostatas is a place to get real Italian style pizza. Thats thin crust, lighter on the sauce and cheese, and topped with fresh meats and vegetables. I am proud to admit that I love American style pizza, grease and all, but having had the luxury of actually traveling to Italy, I appreciate this little shops efforts to bring a little slice of Italy stateside. They have pizzas of all differing kinds, and I recommend coming in a big group so you can try a piece of all them. True to Italian style, they also have excellent wine pairings to accompany whatever dish you choose to delight your palette with. Everything that comes out of their rustic woof-fired oven is crafted to perfection.

I made reservations five days in advance for 11 people for a birthday celebration for my granddaughter I even ordered one of their cakes for her. The service was awful hard time getting appetizers and beverages the waitress was overwhelmed with too many tables. Dirty dishes were left on our table everybody was served except for one person took at least 15 minutes before that person received their dinner. Also my bill was paid we went into the parking lot to get in the car and the manager came out to reprimand us because we did not leave a sufficient tip. Would never go back there again would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Food was good but everything is ala carte, salad was lettuce only anything on it was an upcharge. So be prepared to pay high price. Soft drinks were in 8oz bottles that were pricy. Server was not very attentive. Had to ask for everything several times eg. no bread until meal were almost consumed after 3 requests, no salt and pepper, she said they remove them after lunch as well as the sweeteners. They do not accept Discover card,really! Quite a different dining experience

My husband and I LOVE this place! The menu is somewhat limited, but everything they make is super-fresh, using the very best ingredients. The ambiance is pleasant, the Italian music is...well...really Italian, and being there is always a wonderful experience. Its my favorite Italian food in Cleveland. You owe it to yourself to have their Siena sandwich, or any pizza, and dont leave without having a mixed berry crostata. Fabulous!

Quite possibly my favorite place for lunch on the East Side of Cleveland. Food is incredibly fresh and reasonably priced. I especially like the pasta fagioli, cheese & olive platter, mista salad an pizzas. Have eaten here dozens of times and never had anything but a great meal. Ive even had friends who work downtown volunteer to drive out East to meet me for lunch at Crostatas.

This is a fantastic restaurant. We frequent there often and have never had a bad experience. The food is phenomenal. It may seem a little pricey to some, however, everything is homemade which makes it worth it. The arichini, fried zucchini, chicken cutlet, and Caesar salad are a must have. Great cozy, atmosphere. Fantastic coffee and dessert as well.

Every single thing that you order from this restaurant is 100% made from scratch, the pasta, the pizza, everything. Its a pretty steep price to pay, but its completely worth it. You want great quality food? Youve gotta pay for it. I recommend this to anyone who wants real, authentic Italian food.
