I am the director of Just 4 Kids Learning Academy on Losco Road in Mandarin. Our summer camp children (ages 5 to 12) had just finished a community service visit to Augustine Landing Retirement Village where our children sang songs for the residents there and visited with them before going to Tijuana Flats at Bartram Park to eat lunch. We had 45 children and 6 counselors eating in the outside dining area of Tijuana Flats when one of the owners of Brooklyn Pizza (next door) began taking pictures of our children. When approached by one of our counselors asking this owner to please not take photos of our children without prior permission and their parents permission, this man proceeded to cuss out my summer camp counselor using extreme f words and the like, all in the presence of our children. Of course we immediately reported this abusive behavior to the manager of Tijuana Flats. We trust that they in turn took care of this issue with the Brooklyn Pizza owners as at the time of this incident, our children and counselors were patrons and guests of Tijuana Flats. Obviously, this establishment (Brooklyn Pizza) does not care for children and displays this dislike in front of them. We felt everyone should know of this businesses character towards children and those individuals who have dedicated their careers to protecting and caring for them.

I agree with the person that says pay when you get your food not before. My husband called in an order at 6:50. He was told it would be ready at 8. By his mistake he never changed the clock in his car so he thought it was 7:50. He gets there at 7:10. And is told it will be another 45 minutes after he pays. But what really upsets him is that a new customer comes in right behind him and places a new order and is told his order will be ready in 30 minutes. Hes so upset he leaves and tells the guy to give the pizza to someone else, no offer of a refund or apologies. 1 pizza and breadsticks takes over an hour? Were out $20 something (plus tip)! Weve eaten here before and they do have great pizza. Just terrible customer service!

My issue has to do with service. I ordered a medium cheese pizza with breadsticks. It took an extremely long amount of time. People who came after me received their pies. The manager or owner, not sure of his rank, saw me sitting down, somewhat frustrated, and he asked me, "Whats your ticket number, youve been waiting a long time?" I told him I didnt receive one and he then proceeded to mumble it over with the other workers. I was then told to wait four more minutes, which turned into ten plus. They were not that busy and I waited close to 45 minutes. Seems like they forgot my order completely. My advice would be to pay at pickup, not before.

Ordered by phone for pick up and they said it was going to be 30 minutes. I was at the store at the 35 minute mark.. Waited another 15 minutes for my order... So almost an hour waiting for a medium pizza and 30 wings. Only saw 2 people working. Meat Lovers Pizza was deprived of toppings even a Vegan would eat it. The crust was soo overcooked even satan would choke from the char. The wings were so bland and might even come from your locale walmart tyson brand. Better wings at publix for lower price. Better pizza at pizza hut for a lower price. 5 out of 5 chances would NEVER GO BACK AGAIN!

It was just okay. I loved the other guys comment about "if youre a redneck you wont know the difference". Hahaha. Its true. This was not authentic New York pizza. If you want authentic, go to Tommys off of Southside! My husband got a couple of slices, and I thought they were horrible, but he liked them. I had the calzone. It was actually really nice. The cheeses were tasty. The employees were friendly. The restaurant was small, and very hot. If youre in a hurry, skip this place. It did take quite a while to get your food. But on the upside, it was fresh!

Okay, so I am writing this review as Im eating...thats how happy I am right now! This is the first time Ive tried Brooklyn Pizza (I have the Brooklyn Special Calzone and an order of Zeppoli w/ strawberry sauce), and not only was my order ready before they said it would be, but the amount of food they give you is tremendous! Ill probably save half or most of this for my dinner. It is delicious, and they didnt skimp with the good ingredients at all. I will definitely go again the next time I am really, really hungry!

We ate her the other day and had a nice experience. We were able to get a white pizza. They use ricotta as the base for the white pizza so this was a little different for me but was really good. They do not sale a lot of different bottled beers and no mixed acholoic drinks but it is a nice place to eat. It seems like a really nice one person owned restaurant it is not a chain restaurant. So for something different to try it was gòod

Had a terrible experience here.Crust way to thin burnt all around asked for another pizza " please" this isnt the way i want it to done, the owner told me its only because i just wanted a different pizza gave me my money back and told me not to come back.. i explained to him the pizza was burnt all around the outside, " cant you see it" ? he picks it up with his hands TELLING me no im wrong.. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service!!

We ordered a pizza and the man who seemed to be in charge was very rude . He made our pizza wrong without the toppings we ordered and refused to correct the situation . We unfortunately paid first so all we could do was take the wrong pizza ! Beware of these people !!!! They do not stand behind product !!!! Every pizza comes with New York attitude !!!!

So sad to say that I loved this place once a long time ago. The last few times this year, whether it was my parents or I that ordered...the pizza was horrible. They have young kids now and each and every time its burnt and overpriced. Glad that pizza hut opened up near by cause I am no longer going there. By the way Im a New Yorker so I know pizza!

Food is ok but no matter what day or time you call to get a pizza it is always hour before its ready even though its close to my house I will not be going there I can stop at any other pizza place and get a pie 15-20 min and when you tell the person on the phone that they say ok yea I know its going to be a while wait

This place beats out pizza hut and dominos anyday, the sauce is amazing the cheese was fresh and overall the whole pie was great, toppings were big and tasty, service was good pizza was ready fast, the guy running it is really great about customer service. never eat pizza anywere else it was fantastic.

I just ordered a large cheese pizza full of holes burnt cheese bubbles and was refused an exchange. We have been there before and ordered the same and he has needed to redo the pizza. This time around they plainly said NO customer is not right we make perfectly good pizzas....NOT
