I have been an employee at the Golden Corral in Lancaster Ohio for the last several months. I can say without a doubt, that is it by far the filthiest restaurant I have ever been or worked in. Bar none. Not only is it filthy.. and by that I mean, cutting boards that are left with raw egg under them for days to get rotten and moldy, food dropped on the disgusting floors and then picked up and used, food thawing in the same sink where dirty dishes are soaking, meat left out at room temp. for hours before it is served.. all these are bad enough, but the way they treat their employees is shameful. In the entire time I have worked there, not once have I been given a break. There are no mats on the floor, so the dishtank area, which is constantly covered in inches of food waste, trash, water and grease is a HUGE slip and fall hazard.I have had to climb stacks of boxes taller than me in the walk in to get to food product so that i can do my job. I had to work for 2 hours after being burned before I could take 5 minutes to go ice my hand.. then, after all this, I was removed from the schedule. No one told me I was fired, but apparently I was. I found out about it 12 days later. I was never written up, reprimanded, late to work, called in sick...nothing. If Golden Corral Corporate isnt aware that these franchises are treating their employees like this I would be greatly surprised.Im fairly certain it is standard company policy.Anyway...dont eat there..the food is disgusting, the dishes are never clean, and with your 10 bucks you are supporting social injustice. :/ Thank you...that is all.

Have allways loved golden corral.Never had problem with food or staff. Sure there are occasions as with anything else but this morning was bad. Had breakfast this morning actually should have asked for a refund. Bacpn and sausage seemed spoiled actually smelled bad. Coffee was bad. Pllates and utensils all had residue and food stuck on them. Not just one or two but almost all. As if they are being rinsed with same dirty water. Can not express my dissapointment.

All you can eat buffet......Fantastic selection of foods including a great salard bar.....Would recommend the Pot Roast and also anything from the grill......New Brunch menu would recommend the Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast from this new menu........Staff are very helpful attentive and friendly......Excellent value for money

It really does depend on your waitress/waiter but do rmbr to tip them wen u get a good one that comes & gets ur leftover plates & makes sure u have enough to drink. Other than that the only bad thing i have to say is they need to pay more attention to wat is being ate the most. Cause sometimes it takes a little time to get fresh

It was nasty and good had no taste and what really made my stomach turn was some kid started digging in his nose then his butt then he reached and grabbed a piece of chicken with no tongs but with his nasty hand. I asked for my money back and explained and the manager said no and it was not their problem.

Have to stand in line and wait for steak to be cooked. When they run out of steak on the grill, the cook is usually busy doing other things like restocking other food items. I assume thats how they keep their food costs down, but it upsets their customers. Foods good, when its available.

This place is gross the food is dry i seen the waitress twice since we have been here the made to order steak was so salty it crunched when you bit into it I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone the price of dinner is way to much for the food they are serving!

It is a great toned vibe. The waiters n waitress r very kind. I got more pop then I could drink thank god for that. And my family enjoy the food n time we spend. My son was geeked out. Food was awesome! Thumbs up

I dont like this place. The food is nasty, the place isnt clean including the restrooms ( the floors are sticky), it is always cold inside ( bring a jacket), service isnt the best and cooks are rude.

Buffet was clean and stocked but the food was not as good as expected possibly because they were not rotating fresh food in and the old out possibly because it was a weekday no excuse though

It doesnt matter what time we go the place is always clean and food fresh. We travel 30 min to go here Although we have one with in a few miles where we live in columbus. Always go there

Nice atmosphere, food has a lot to be desired, ribs were boiled not grilled, chops were so dry you could sole your shoe with them. Stake to thick to cook well done without destroying it.
