Some friends in our group attempted to order vegan. One asked the waitress for assistance for what the options are vegan. Waitress didnt know, so points to the kiosk on table. No vegan options, only allergy options. Good thing she looked online before they went. She ordered pasta with vegetables (peppers, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli, and zucchini). Also salad with dressing on the side and bread sticks without butter topping. The only thing the waitress got right was the salad with dressing on the side. Bread sticks came with butter topping twice. The waitress was asked about the bread sticks three to four times when she returned empty handed. Another member of the party asked our waitress if he had to pay her to bring the bread sticks. The waitress always had an excuse why. But we knew better. When the entrees arrived, the 2 vegan dishes arrived only with tomatoes, onions and peppers. Not the preference and not what she ordered. This individual asked our waitress several times what happened to her vegetables. The response from the waitress was the kitchen was backed up. After several times of her vegetables not coming, and her pasta is already cold by now, the manager came by to ask how things were. The order that was messed up was removed from our bill. The manager said the kitchen was not backed up, so the waitress outright lied to us. It turns out our waitress was new. Turns out, this restaurant has a vegan menu at the front desk. But when the waitress was asked for assistance, she didnt want to bother, didnt know, or just didnt care. Everyone elses food was okay. But knowing the 2 entrees were wrong put a damper on the whole experience. I certainly wouldnt recommend this restraunt if nothing else but the way our waitress was instructioned. Who else was not instructed properly?? Rating, very poor!!!!!

i love Olive Garden but the one in grove city left a bad impression on me and i will never go back to that one -when we got there it didnt take long to be seated the place was not that busy -i ordered water with lemon my aunt and i both got the three course meal had salad main dish and desert -what i hated most was being ignored -when we ran out of water he didnt refill when we ran out of salad and bread he didnt ask if we wanted more he just kept walking by as if we werent there -we had to stop him ask him if we could get refills on everything he never volunteered anything and its not like he was busy he was just joking around with other waiters he wasnt busy -then the manager walked around the olive at least 3times she stopped at some tables asked if everything was ok 3 times she walked around and looked me in my eye each time and never asked if everything was ok -i began to wonder was i really there? everytime the waiter came by our table he would step on my aunts foot and not apologize i let that go and said to myself maybe he thinks its the end of a table but every single time cmon really? -the food wasnt that good but it wasnt bad enough to send back -i couldnt eat all my food i told my waiter i would need this boxed -now correct me if im wrong but everytime i go to olive garden they ALWAYS box my food ive never boxed my own food -but he came buy with a box placed it on my table along with the check (the only thing he volunteered) didnt even ask if we wanted anything else which we did want something to go -but at that point that was it i left the food paid the bill and walked out my aunt decided to leave something of a tip but i was to threw i had never been so ignored in a restaurant before i love other olive gardens but i will not go back to that one

On Sunday night 10-14-2012 I and my dinner partner went to this Grove City, OH Olive Garden. BAD DECISION! Waitress slow and more slow in taking the order, long wait to get drinks, salad and more. Would see her cruise by but never close enough to flag down. Than again why shoul we try to get her attention? Ordered a Rob Roy dry up wit a twist. Specified, if made correctly, that it should come in an icy martini glass, be gold/yellow in color like her name badge, have a twist of lemon. After a LONG wait the RED colored drink arrives with three cherries! She was miffed that we did not want the drink. Perhaps in Gove City a yellow lemon is the same as three red cherries? Over all the food was good when it arrived, service slow, drink order wrong, waitress surely at the end. If shed shown some of that spark during dinner it would have been far better. Manager involvement? Some contact but the feeling was she was not real concerned. Drink? Yes I did get the right one after I walked through the place with the old one to go to the bar to get it made right. Bar tender said she had been thrown into the job tonight. Return? NO!

I live in grove city me and my wife tried olive garden Stringtown rd one of the worst dinners I have hade in a long time first maybe 10 cars in the lot we walked in greeter said she would be with us shortly 10 min later she asked if would mind setting in the bar for dinner we dont drink and they had no tables in the bar I asked for a table i am 64" and 300 lbs i am not comfortable in a booth so then she said would we mind half both half table wife is not happy and ready to leave wondering what part of table she didnt get so we set down and soon found out why no tables keep in mind its 3:30 not busy at all we counted 9 tables not cleaned waitress was ok brought drinks and salad but we had to ask for silverware and bread sticks ordered lasagna noodles were hard on the edges they tried to cover it up with sauce stuffed mushrooms tasted bland not good

Did you realize the suggested tip amounts are based on the total of your order AND the tax? Food was only okay, service was pretty pitiful. We were forced to sit in the bar area which meant limited and even worse service. I thought the breadsticks were unlimited. We only received one basket of 4 breadsticks. After that no more were brought even though we had an order of dipping sauce. The water and iced tea refills came less and less frequently. The braised beef and tortelloni was tried for the first time. Unfortunately it had a sweetness to it that wasnt quite right. Not what I was expecting. Very disappointed in the level of service this time. Probably wont hurt the company, but I doubt well be back anytime soon.

I just ordered and picked-up carry-out. I ordered the bread stick Alfredo dip appetizer which indicates on the website: "Choose one of our homemade sauces. Includes four breadsticks". The dip was wonderful, but only had two bread sticks in my order so have plenty of remaining dip. Secondly, I ordered a salad and in the special requests put no onion and extra dressing. Neither requests were fulfilled. Im annoyed now I tipped the carry-out person, but at the time they were quick bringing out my order - now I know it is b/c they didnt pay attention to a darn thing I asked.
