Penn Station has great food. I was excited that a location opened in Marion. My first visit was very pleasant. They are clean, the food was on par with other Penn Stations, and the service was good. My second visit changed all of that, and pretty much guaranteed Ill just bring Penn Station from Columbus and pass this location by. I regularly frequent this particular chain, and always get the same thing. I order my cheese steaks with light onion; my wife regular. This sandwich was *loaded* with onions to the point of being inedible (house still smelled of onions the next day). Twice as many onions as regular, without the request for light. So many onions that they couldnt be well-grilled and were still hard (forget about carmelized). The pile of removed onions far outweighed meat and cheese and was almost as large as one half of the sub, which was cold by the time the onions were removed (and everything still tasted like an onion sandwich). Ive really never seen anything like it, but thats a mistake, and mistakes happen. But their response was not a mistake. Do not blame the customer. Do not accuse the customer of lying. Do not tell me it is my job to oversee the cook and instruct them how to do their job, even if cooking does happen right up front, particularly once the order has been made and clearly indicates a special request. I am legitimately owed a sandwich, which they eventually reluctantly offered. However, due to their behavior, I will most likely not claim it. Instead, I will take my $10-$30 _every week_ elsewhere. Do some math.

Food was great but not at all impressed with the service. I ordered a pizza sub small fry and lemonade to drink also a take out order an Italian sub. I was brought the Italian sub and that was it, so I got up and went to the front counter stood there untiI I was acknowledged. There was like 3 guys cooking and a guy in the back and a couple of guys that passed by me. It wasnt until a very kind young lady was comming on shift and seen that I was distraught. She asked what the issue was and I told her. She corrected my order. Thanks to the young lady that helped me she was very kind. I will be back but only for a take out order cause the food was phenomenal but crappy service:/

The penn station yesterday was Disgusting and when me and my father went to the restroom, their was not a soap dispenser like their wasnt an empty dispenser or anything and nothing but a toilet and a sink and they got our order wrong and they tryed to fry a salad like HOW WHOULD U FRY A SALAD and so my mother practically was telling them what to do and we took them To go and we went straight home and when we opened the sub and all the tomato seeds and vinager spilled in the floor like BOI

Food was great but the service was below par. The staff seemed over whelmed and understaffed and it showed through to their customer service. They close at 10pm and started clean up at 8:20 so we felt rushed and after being told the sweet tea was out they brushed us off with no refills. We also heard the staff complaining about other staff that were not working.

Penn Station is the best subs around hands down. Ive been a hugh fan of Penn Station for several years now. Id eat at the one in Polaris and Mansfield every time I was around there and now Marion finally has one!!! Thanks to whom ever had the great idea to place one in Marion. I hope it does very well...

If youre looking for a greasy overpriced sub, then look no further. We ordered several different subs and each one was incredibly drenched with grease. Not to mention, the staff was not acting very professional at all while I was there. Very disappointed. Ill spend my money somewhere else from now on.

It was really awesome when they first opened, but the quality seems to be slipping already. Sometimes I think your order gets misplaced and it takes a really long time to get it. Seem to be less meat on the subs than when they first opened , I guess they get you hooked then turn to crap.

When the service is good the food is really delicious. Weve gone several times and mostly had good service. Once they only had two people working at dinnertime and that took forever. Hopefully they have resolved their scheduling issues.
